Chapter 5 The Woman Who Offers Special Service

Since she was back in Adephia, Caroline knew she would meet Damian sooner or later. But she didn't expect it would be this soon and this way.

They hadn't seen each other for five years. Looking at the familiar face in front of him now, Damian squinted, and his eyes darkened slightly.

When Caroline came back to her senses, she said directly, "I'm sorry, I came to the wrong room."

After saying this, she turned around and was about to leave. But Damian's deep voice suddenly sounded behind her.

"Wait!"

Damian squinted his eyes and said in a cold voice, "Caroline, it's only been five years since we last saw each other. How did you become like this?"

He was shocked because he didn't expect that the woman who offered the special service was Caroline.

Caroline frowned slightly and asked, "What are you talking about?"

"Oh, don't you know what I'm talking about? Since you have received the money, you should give me a special service, right? Why do you want to leave now?"

Damian walked over to Caroline, and his body still exuded a faint fragrance of shower gel. He looked at her, smiled sarcastically, and said, "But a woman like you will only make me sick. Get out!"

Confusion was written all over Caroline's face. At this moment, a woman in a slip dress and delicate makeup appeared at the door. She smiled and said, "Hello, Mr. Mayson."

The woman's arrival made Caroline finally understand what Damian meant. She sneered, "Tsk, tsk, tsk. Damian, do you know that you also make me sick? Does your fiancée know about this?"

After saying this, she turned around and left.

Damian frowned slightly. It was only then that he realized he had misunderstood Caroline.

"Mr. Mayson, I..." The woman was about to say something.

But Damian snapped, "Fuck off!"

His face darkened, and the woman was scared off.

Damian was so distraught that he lit a cigarette. When he thought of Caroline's beautiful face, he felt extremely irritable. The emotion he had been hiding seemed to appear again.

After getting out of the room, Caroline called Amanda. It turned out that Amanda had given her the wrong room number. Unexpectedly, it let her meet Damian.

Caroline and Amanda drank in the bar next to the hotel until midnight.

After they parted, Caroline walked to the parking lot. She drank a lot, so she felt a little dizzy. When she passed by the flower bed, she saw a little boy sitting there alone.

She walked to the boy and asked, "Little boy, why are you here alone?"

The boy didn't say anything. His beautiful eyes just stared at Caroline.

"Are you lost? Were you separated from your parents?"

The boy still didn't say anything, but he shook his head.

"So you came here all by yourself?"

This time, he nodded.

Caroline couldn't help sighing, thinking what kind of parents would let their child run out of home in the middle of the night. They must be very careless. She stretched out her hand and said, "Let me take you home, okay?"

The little boy hesitated for a moment. Then he took Caroline's hand and jumped off the flower bed.

Since she had drunk, Caroline hired a driver to drive her car. She wanted to send the boy back home first, but he didn't speak.

"Your mother and father must be worried about you now. Can you tell me where you live?"

The boy only shook his head.

It seemed that he didn't want to go home. Caroline felt helpless. She asked the driver to go to the police station. But when they got there, the boy refused to get out of the car.

This made her feel more helpless. She still went inside the police station to report the situation. Then she left her address in case the parents looked for the little boy, and she took him back to her apartment.
