Chapter 7 ESTEBAN MEETS LOUISA

¶ PABLO ¶

The only mistake I made was driving at high speed. If I drove slowly, I could have avoided this accident. But I thank God that old woman is not dead. After speaking sternly with the husband of the old woman whom I knocked down, I then calmed down and so did he. Then he moved away from me to sit on a chair in the reception room. When I watch him, I see sadness in his eyes. He made me pity. I really wanted to get closer to him and have a good conversation with him, but I hesitated. Meanwhile, the doctors had completed his wife's operation. After a long moment of silence I got up from my seat then I went to the office of the doctor who was talking to me hour before the arrival of the media. Time was passing and I had just remembered that I had an urgent appointment in an hour. So I had to go home to take a bath and go back to the office. I really wanted to talk to the woman I knocked down but she was not yet available to receive visits according to the doctor's instructions. So I was going to come back to see her. I finally walk into this doctor's office and I see that my little sister Ericka was sitting across from this same doctor. I was surprised.

« Ericka? But what are you doing here?» I asked immediately.

The doctor wanted to answer me when my little sister reacted before him by saying :

« I came for a health check-up and what are you doing here? »

« It's a long story my dear. But I'll tell you all about it in detail later. » I answered.

Then I look at the doctor and inform him that I was going to leave to settle an important situation at the office and that I will return to see the old woman.

« Sorry ! I walked into your office without knocking first. I was stressed and had my ideas elsewhere. » I added

« I understand you Mr. Pablo. Have no fear because everything will be fine. » answered the doctor.

At the end of the doctor's words, I left his office.

« But why didn't this doctor warn me that my sister was in his office? And why is it in this hospital that Ericka comes for her check-up when we have a family doctor who takes special care of us. I think my sister is hiding something from me. » I whispered as soon as I walked out of this doctor's office.

I then go towards the exit of the hospital by passing through the reception room. I arrive at the level of the husband of the old woman whom I knocked down and of the young lady who was at his side.

« Excuse me very much but I have to go. I'll be back in two hours. I have no intention of abandoning your wife in this situation. » I said looking at the old woman's husband.

And instead of waiting for him to answer me, I take my checkbook out of my pocket and write him a check.

« Take this. It is to buy the drugs that the doctor will prescribe. » I added

« I don't need your money. Idiot. You think that's how you're gonna earn my respect? Dirty arrogant. » He replied immediately

After these insults, I felt weird. This is the first time in my life that I have been humiliated and insulted in this way. Without saying anything more, I finally got out of that hospital.

¶ ERICKA ¶

When I saw my brother Pablo enter this doctor's office, I was immediately scared because I did not know what he was going to ask me as a question whereas I had received the order not to talk about my rape to no one. But the doctor who was with me knew that I was raped. As soon as Pablo left, the doctor stared at me oddly. I knew his concern.

« I didn't understand what just happened earlier. Why did you lie to your brother about your main reason for being here? » he suddenly asked.

« It's my business and I can't tell you anything doctor. I just want you to just heal me. I'm just your patient. » I answered coldly

« Sorry Miss PASOLINI. I believe you are right. » Said the doctor

And afterwards, he holds out his hand to me, thanking me for coming to see him.

« We have finished miss PASOLINI. » he added

« Thank you Doctor. » I answered

I got up from his seat and walked out of his office. It was time for me to go home and resume my activities.

¶ ESTEBAN ¶

I am happy that my mother and my sister have forgiven me. They gave me one last chance to become a better person. This time, I had no right to make a mistake. I was already working in my office when I received the phone call from my little sister Ericka. I picked up and she was asking me to pick her up from the hospital as she was already ready to go home.

« I'm coming right away Ericka. » I answered.

I hang up and I leave my office. Then I get in my car and I go to the Umberto I hospital. Ten minutes later, I arrive at my destination. I get out of my car and I see a very attractive young lady who looked like a fairy. She had the eyes of an angel. Her straight hair was turning an ebony black. She was about to take a taxi when I rushed towards her.

« Hi dear lady. » I said tenderly.

« Hello Mr. PASOLINI. » She replied immediately.

« How did you guess that I am from the PASOLINI family? » I asked in surprise.

« We are in Rome and which resident of this city does not know you?" I know that you are the eldest son of Mr. Carlos PASOLINI. My name is Louisa Vargas and I am his new secretary. » she answered timidly.

She also had a captivating smile. Her look, her eyes, her body and almost everything about her seduced me. I was really attracted to this young lady and I was planning to put her in my bed one of these days. It's my habit. I like sleeping with beautiful women. I had promised my mother to become a better person but I could not resist facing the beauty of this young lady.
