Chapter 4 NEW BEGINNING

Hannah took off her glasses as soon as she reached the Beijing airport, looking fantastic. She smiled widely before finally leaving. The taxi drove her to Lover's Island, known for it's beautiful landscape, where she would begin her new life.

"Welcome to the new chapter of your life, Hannah!" she said happily as she opened the window in her room.

The view outside helped her relax. She loved seeing the waves in the ocean. She left the window open and went back to her bed to sleep for just an hour. She didn't need to cook her food when she woke up, as there was a lot of room service available to deliver her meals.

"This food is tasty, and it's good for my health," said Hannah.

She sipped the glass of strawberry juice and then went to the window. The night was so quiet, with only the sound of the waves outside not so far. She left her room and decided to go outside. The sea breeze was quite cold, but she loved it. She grabbed her slippers and jacket and slowly turned around to feel the essence of the sea. The water kissed her feet.

"I hope I have good luck tomorrow," she said as she stopped.

She saw a restaurant near the building and was curious about the taste of their food. As she entered, her tummy rumbled even though she had already eaten dinner. Many couples were happily eating inside. She suppressed her hunger as she looked at the menu hanging on the wall.

"Hi, ma'am. Are you going to eat?" asked the server.

"Pardon me, but is the malatang soup tasty? I've never tasted it in my whole life," Hannah replied, holding her tummy.

"Yes, it is. We serve malatang soup, and most of our customers like it. Every night, they come here to eat malatang soup with their partners," said the server. Hannah looked around and noticed that most of the customers were having malatang soup.

"Okay. Give me a bowl of malatang soup," said Hannah as she found her seat. As the malatang soup was finally served, she didn't hesitate to taste it.

"Wow. I never thought it would be so tasty," she said and continued eating. "One more bowl of malatang soup, please," she ordered. She didn't know what was happening to her, but it seemed like she had started craving malatang soup.

"Here's your malatang soup, ma'am," said the server.

Hannah sweetly smiled before taking a sip of the bowl of malatang soup. She wiped her lips afterward and paid. As she stepped outside, she noticed a grocery store on the other side of the restaurant. The sight of all those sweet candies inside captured her attention, and she decided to go inside and buy her favorite sweets and candies.

"That will be five hundred fifty dollars, ma'am," said the cashier. Hannah used her code for payment. She also received a call from her parents asking if she was doing well.

"I'm doing very well, Mom. Don't worry about me. I'm having so much fun here," said Hannah.

"We're glad to hear that. Enjoy yourself. Goodbye," said her mom.

"Goodbye, Mom," said Hannah.

After hanging up the phone, Hannah suddenly felt a headache. She felt dizzy and nauseous. She shook her head, thinking that maybe it was because she had eaten a lot. An hour later, as she started feeling sleepy, she closed the curtains and lay down on the bed. This time, she would sleep alone. No one could disturb her. She was starting to move on.

On the other hand, Jake arrived at the airport in Bangkok, Thailand at 8 p.m., looking classy. It was the time when Hannah was resting. He checked in at one of the famous hotels named Chatrium Grand Bangkok, located in Pratunam, Bangkok. The hotel offers accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, restaurant, and free private parking. He opened his window and gasped for air.

"This place is so beautiful," said Jake as he closed his eyes. He took off his polo shirt and went to the bathroom. He even drank his wine while inside the bathtub.

"I wish I could always have this kind of life," he said before taking a sip of the wine.

The room service brings him food for his dinner. Before going to bed, he makes sure to read two pages of the newspaper while wearing his eyeglasses. Reading the newspaper is his hobby before going to bed, and it's one of the main reasons why Hannah is so attracted to him from the past.

"I hope I have good luck tomorrow," said Jake before he closed his eyes.

As Jake wakes up, he starts his new routine. He does cardiovascular fitness and spends two hours at the fitness center. Even though he's covered in sweat after his workout, he still looks hot with his strong and big biceps. He has an actor's body. The way he drinks water is so fantastic, and his possessive eyes always captivated Hannah in the past. He takes off his clothes and heads to the pool, leaving all the ladies in awe. They can't help but be shocked by his appearance. When he jumps into the water and emerges, his six-pack abs make those girls melt.

"Hi, ladies. How's your day?" Jake asked.

"Hello. I'm doing very well, thank you. How about you?" the girls said, trembling with excitement.

"I'm glad to see both of you doing okay. Why aren't you swimming?" he replied.

"Actually, we were planning to swim, right girls?"

"Yeah, we were going to swim later. Are you new here?" Jake nodded in response.

"Oh my God! Who is he? He's so hot!" the girls scream as Jake leaves.

"What's his name? It's my first time seeing him here," said the other girl.

"I love his blue eyes. They're so captivating, and his lips are so kissable," the girls said, with possessiveness. They were completely enchanted by Jake.
