CHAPTER SIX: HANG OUT
"His majesty, we need to do something!"
It was when Jesse Brooke and his wife Scarlet, who was the daughter of the wealthiest tycoon chosen by the king himself arrived from their trip.
What Jesse Brooke and Scarlet enjoyed most was the wealth, money and power that came with being associated with the kings and besides, the respect everyone gave them as part of the royal family.
Flora Esan, the wife to King Jay Esan and the biological mother of Hayes Esan always lived in sorrow since the very day Hayes Esan was disowned from the royal family. Her love for her son never died, and it hurt her more when someone else was receiving the honor and respect that was supposed to be directed to her son.
Though all in all, she treated Jesse and Scarlet with love despite her sore self, hoping that one day, she will reunite with her son and live happily as before. She also hoped she would be able to watch her grand children grow, watch her sun set while surrounded by the happiness of her own blood.
Jesse Brooke and Scarlet had a son, Elon who was three years younger than Kevian and two daughters, Lena who was a year older than Morel and Aggie who was three years younger than Lena.
"I heard of advocate of peace from Port Prime. If we don't find a way of dealing with all this, the whole country will shut down" one ambassador said.
"it's not like you people want to change the whole outlook of the country, right? We can still find a solution on our own." Scarlet said, "we can simply talk things out."
"Mom..." Lena came crying. "A friend send me a text that we're not the real princess of the country."
"Scarlet, go be with the children in the room. We will settle this. "Jesse Brooke said.
"I can't take back a son that disobeyed me." The King said.
"You have no choice your majesty. He is the real heir, what the whole country wants." Flora said.
"Anyone having an idea of Hayes' place of residence now?" They asked.
"WE can only get him to convince the country and not really to take over my position." Jesse Brooke said.
"You're not invited to talk here Jesse." They stopped him.
"Get me all the information I need to know about my son!" Flora gave the order and left.
"As you say my queen." The guards bowed in respect.
PORT PRIME
Cher didn't have a trip and wasn't going to drop Rollis in school. So, she wasn't in any hurry to get out of bed.
Gavin had gotten so worried about what was happening at Helion that he forgot to set the alarm for his little son who woke up late for school.
Viole who was supposed to drive Rollis to school was never an early riser unless the alarm clicks, in fact, she would still be forced out of bed at some point.
Talia had overslept also and was now hurrying to prepare breakfast for Rollis who was complaining about people not wanting him to study to success like how his big sister Cher was. It was when Haley walked in.
"Little someone's brother..." she called at Rollis who ran to hug her.
"So early today Haley..." Rollis said.
"Mmh... why are you not in school yet Roll?" she asked.
"Everyone is not waking up." Rollis complained.
"I was told Cher wouldn't be going anywhere today so I came to meet her. You know how hard it is to find your big sister idle." Haley said.
"Check in her room. She's not up yet" Rollis replied.
Haley walked into the room where Cher Lucille was fast asleep, her lashes shining as the orange rays of the sun landed softly on her ever baby face.
"Hey sleeping angel... are you not waking up today?" Haley sat on the edge of the bed.
"mmh..." Cher groaned. "Haley, got tired yesterday, give me one more minute of rest."
"Hey Cher, am your friend. It's been a week since we last spend time together. Just wake for me please." Haley complained.
"Ok, stop complaining." Cher sat up and stretched her gracious legs. "Let me wash my face first."
After soaking her face in water, she came back looking a bit fresh and up.
"And, isn't little Rollis supposed to be in school right now?" Haley asked.
"What? Is he still around?" Cher fastened the robe around her. "I thought I told Viole..." but the door opened slightly.
"Hey sister..." Viole hugged Cher, then Haley. "Hey Haley, it's been long." She was in a blue strapless dress and golden blue heels, as expensive as she loved the look.
"You look beautiful dear." Haley said after the hug.
"Thank you." Viole gave a sunny smile. "Cher, am off to take Rollis to school but may not come back in time."
"Why now? Aren't you late?" Cher asked.
"Dad tempered with the alarm." Viole said.
"Will you be out on a date?" Cher asked.
"Not really, hanging out with friends. Haven't met the right man yet." She replied while laughing out.
"She's expensive you know... and sexy." Haley said.
"And she loves herself so much." Cher smiled.
"Aren't you even more sunny than her? I end up admiring you when am just a lady. I wonder how many guys die for you out there." Haley said.
"Not actually, you're also the best Haley." Rolling her long soft hair, Cher replied. "So, what do you have for me today?"
"Umm... what about hanging out in a hotel for a meal? Don't tell me you want to stay indoors the whole day." Haley said.
"Ok, you'll help me dress, then we'll go downstairs and see what is ready, and off. At least I won't be staying indoors the whole day." Cher said while rushing to have a shower.
After taking breakfast together with Cher's parents, the two girls left in their usual style in a Bugatti spending down the highway, Cher being the driver.
DAN STAR HOTEL
The Bugatti stopped in the garage of the hotel attracting the attention of everyone. A slight delay before it opened, then, a pair of exposed sexy slim legs stepped down followed two eye catching ladies coming out and standing beside it.
"Don't remember the last time I was here." Cher sighed and they both laughed.
"It's either business trips, at the office or peace meetings. What a boring life Cher?" Haley laughed.
"My mission probably." Cher replied. "It's not boring."
"Wait, haven't met any prince charming in all your trips?" Haley asked.
"Am always focused on why am somewhere. Probably I've met many but haven't had a second thought about them." Cher said.
"Are we not getting in now?" Haley led the way.
"Welcome dear." The elevator lady bowed respectively.
"XY, forth flow. "Haley said.
"Why didn't you tell me you booked it earlier?" Cher asked.
"Was prepared earlier when I knew you're off." Haley said.
"Thank you, madam." Cher told the elevator lady as they both entered the elevator with shining faces.
"Welcome again."
"Probably a blind date or what earlier preparations?" Cher asked.
