Chapter 4

We were just passing by but Arelle immediately noticed me. He smiled widely upon making eye contact with me.

He waved his hand. "Where are you, Fhior?" it asked.

I smiled shamefully. I can't focus my sight, so I just looked down at Arelle's body. It's more embarrassing if I make an eye contact with him, because I think I could see Ellandro too.

"Uh- Just there at the nearby restaurant" I struggled upon uttering words.

"We're planning to go there too! Shall we go together?"

This time I was able to look up at him. His teammates nodded, as an answer that they agree with us coming with them. I immediately found Ellandro's intense gaze on me. I looked away immediately.

"That's a good idea!" Karen quickly agreed. I noticed his big smile while staring at a member of the basketball team.

"Are you free, Bro?" Jerson asked Arelle with a smile.

"Of course! If Fhior comes along"

"My friend will come!" Jerson immediately said. He turned to me. "Isn't it, Fhior?"

"Uh? Yes, I'll go with you" float said. I'm still worried about Ellandro's intense gaze.

After that we all decided to go to the nearest restaurant. We requested a table set for a group of people.

We sat down. And to my badluck day, I'm still facing Ellandro!

We looked at each other. It took 15 seconds for me to look away. Good thing my embarrassing stare was covered because the waiter came to our table right away.

"What would you like to have for your lunch, Ma'am, Sir?"

"Five set of omelet with rice and pasta!" Arelle ordered.

"Just the steak for me." Karen. I thought and looked at the menu.

"Mine will be..." I immediately glanced at Ellandro when I heard his voice. "Steak and green salad"

He glanced at me. I immediately looked at my menu again.

"Yours, Ma'am?" The waiter turned to me.

"Just a small blue berry cake." I said. The waiter nodded and made his way to their kitchen.

Arelle patted my arm next to me. I looked at him.

"Why?" I asked confusedly.

His eyes found mine. "Are you only going to eat dessert?" he asked.

I nodded. "Uh Yes, I'm still full." I reasoned out.

Honestly, I'm really hungry but since I felt uncomfortable, I think I can't eat around them peacefully.

Ten minutes passed and our orders arrived immediately. Since I only ordered a small dessert, I'm the one who's able to finish eating first.

I glanced at Ellandro. He's eating silently and has been carrying those cold aura since earlier. He likes eating peacefully and doesn't even have a single care about anything. He felt my gaze so before he could catch my eyes, I quickly turned to Arelle next to me.

Arelle looked at me and smiled innocently. He took food with his spoon and brought it to my mouth.

I was stunned and he noticed that so he chuckled softly. He held my jaw gently. My lips parted. He immediately put the spoon in my mouth. I did nothing but eat the food.

Arelle looks satisfied after. He even tried again but this time I refused. I feel so embarrassed, especially when our companions glance at us. And one more person stared at me firmly and darkly, Ellandro.

After our lunch we decided to leave. Arelle and his team decided to go home first so they could take a shower, so did my two friends too. So all that was left was Ellandro and me.

No one said a word to us and we only glanced at each other. I tasted it. I gathered all of my courage then looked at him in the eye.

"Uh- are you going back to school?" I asked and smiled at her.

He tasted it and nodded. "You're going back too, right? Let's go together?" he said. Now I took a bite and nodded.

So that's it. We both know the awkwardness while we're walking together. Although he looks annoyed at something. He was just looking ahead of us with his mouth tightly shut, while I often caught glimpses of him.

I'm just wondering if I did something that made him angry? He looks annoyed and angry. Maybe he still has a bad heart towards me and was just kind enough to go back to school with me today.

"That's your boyfriend?" it suddenly asked. I immediately turned to him but his gaze was still ahead.

I hesitated to answer because maybe it wasn't me he was asking but he didn't have anyone else with him but me.

"Who are you referring to?" I asked back with a frown.

"Arelle... Your boyfriend?" He then turned his head to me. We looked at each other. My lips parted upon seeing how his dark eyes burned in anger. W-what?!

"N-no! We just know each other" I stammered. He nodded and looked away immediately.

Our conversation ended there. We didn't speak until we got to school. I thought we would go to the main building of the school together but unfortunately Elyse came suddenly when we were at the gate.

Both Ellandro and I stopped when Elyse approached us. Elyse greeted me with a big angelic smile and I couldn't even smile at her back. I may be rude but I can't afford to smile when I'm feeling something foreign to me. It was like, I was hurt seeing them two together?

It's good that Elyse just ignores the dead malice just by looking at her because she immediately confronts Ellandro.

I watched Elyse get closer to Ellandro. I saw how Elyse's eyes sparkled like a pure shining star. I don't know what's wrong with me right now but somehow I felt hurt.

Maybe... I have a crush on Ellandro?

Well he is not my type at all but who wouldn't admire him when literally everyone calls him a Prince. I have repeatedly said that I will never like a man who does not pay attention to women and always utters cold words, but can you believe it? My feelings are slowly forming because of him!

In the little time we have been making money and in just a few minutes of talking, am I already having feelings for him? Oh fvck! Get back to your self Fhioresca!

"What time does your game start tomorrow?" I heard Elyse ask.

I watched the two staring at each other. Somehow I feel so pathetic being here right beside these two. 'Cause I feel like I shouldn't be here.

I need someone to leave but it would be rude if I just left without telling Ellandro, we still went here together. Although, I know he doesn't even care but there's Elyse, who's like an angel, so it's also for my own good to tell them that I'm leaving.

"Ten AM." Ellandro answered Elyse's question.

Elyse faintly applauded at what she heard. "So you can still watch our dance?"

"Yes."

"Oh, by the way the head master called for us." Elyse. Ellandro nodded.

The two fell silent before I could taste it. They both turned to me. I smiled bitterly.

"Uh-sorry for the trouble, I'm leaving-"

"Okay. Let's go." Ellandro joined immediately and stepped towards me.

"Huh?" Elyse and I both said.

"Elyse, you should go first. I will take Fhioresca to the main building first. I will also follow." Ellandro said without hesitating. My eyes widened in shock.

"But..." Elyse didn't continue what she was going to say because she saw the certainty on Ellandro's face.

What the hell Fhior?! What do you enjoy?

"It seems important that you talk to the head master so it's better to uh... you and Elyse go together." I said to Ellandro. He looked at me coldly.

I caught a glimpse of Elyse smiling at what I said. My attention turned to him when he approached Ellandro and carefully held onto his muscular arm. Ellandro turned to him because of that.

"That's why Ellandro! Let's go together because it looks like the head master is already waiting!" Elyse said and smiled sweetly.

Looking at them close to each other again made me feel... Huh! Nevermind, I don't care about what's going on with them okay?!

I saw how Ellandro slowly removed Elyse's grip to his shoulder. I secretly smiled.

"No, Elyse. You go first." Ellandro said and immediately started walking. He glanced at me first, a sign that it was necessary to follow him.

I was worried when I turned to Elyse. Her smile faded and she looked so offended. She noticed me so she smiled immediately but it didn't reach her eyes.

I quickly pointed in Ellandro's direction. "Uh-I'm first?"

She nodded. I didn't look at him anymore and immediately chased after Ellandro who was already ahead. I was still a little breathless when we started walking together.

I feel so bad for Elyse. I'm not assuming but it feels like Ellandro's putting me first before Elyse.

For years of seeing many boys and girls admiring someone, how come I can't tell if they like someone now? What I'm trying to tell is, Elyse must be admiring Ellandro, or can it be more than that?

Since I'm a girl as well, like just Elyse, I know what it feels like to see someone you like is just ignoring you behind. It will hurt your pride. Especially since Elyse is known as a perfect princess then she can't get the one man she wants. It's offended. I know if it's just my distance from Elyse, but she is just a girl too, so of course I also know about her feelings.

I already said it, who wouldn't like Ellandro? Well, he already has everything, Wealth, Appearance, Brain and so on. And basically Elyse is perfect for Ellandro, so what's the difference between the two?

It just makes me think that maybe these two have secret feelings for each other and they just can't admit it, but as far as I know they don't. So... Does Ellandro have a crush on Elyse? Maybe.

Elyse is really likeable. Besides being rich, he is smart, beautiful, talented, and kind. what else is needed to just like him? If I were your man, I would definitely be the first to kneel for him.

I also have everything I want but I still can't help but to compare my self to others. Many people will say that I'm beautiful, I'm not smart but I still have a brain and I know a lot about some things so what else is missing in me? Is it my habit?

"What are you thinking?" asked Ellandro, who immediately lost sight of the others if he was thinking about it just now.

"Nothing." I answered.

"You're quite." he commented. I just smiled.

Is it just me? 'cause I feel like there's something new about his tone. It's not as cold as before anymore. His tone is husky and looks like normal, not like the usual cold tone from him when he talks.
