Chapter 8 I'm a fire who burns everything

POV

Alpha Damien was to leave again but I held his hands before saying, " Alpha, please take me with you, "

He narrowed his eyes before shooting a glance over me with puzzled eyes as he said in a deep voice. He was only staring me with stunning eyes.

I gulped before adding, " Didn't you just say that they will be waiting for me at my home? I'm new in this city. I don't really have any place to go. Please take me with you, "

He didn't respond and I assumed he didn't want to take me with him,

" Y.. You are letting me go? Then why did you save me in the first place? Why didn't you let them take me? Why bother saving me from those creatures? " I asked with a cold voice, looking straight into his deep eyes,

He curled his lips into a mysterious smile before leaning near my ears as he whispered with his magnetic voice, " What if I say I saved you because I COULD. Don't misread my prominence into kindness, "

His lips were too close to my cheeks that my heartbeat increased enormously, making me feel so embarrassed. What if he hears it?

" Izabelle Garfield! You don't know whom you are associating with. I'm not good for you. I'm a fire who burns everything that comes closer to him. Stay away from me or else you will get burn too, " he said in a serious voice while

moving his finger on my lips.

He then moved his gaze away from me and turned aside. I held his hand as I pulled him back and looked straight into his eyes and said, " What if I'm immune to fire? "

I don't know why I said these words so confidently. It was like I just knew he could never hurt me. However, now that l saw him staring me with stunning eyes,

I closed my eyes to save my face before him and when I opened them I found him walking ahead. Though I wanted to stop him but I couldn't be that thick-skinned to stop him again when he had clearly rejected me. However, after walking a few steps ahead, Alpha paused as he said without turning back, " If you don't want

to get caught by them again then get in the car and... Do not let me say this again, "

My eyes widened in excitement. He did agree to take me with him. I immediately took a step ahead, but as soon as I move forward, I fell on my head,

" Ah.. " I moaned,

I checked my legs only to find out my ankles had got sprained,

' Where the hell did I do this to my legs? Wasn't I running quite well before? How come it affects my body only now? ' I thought while scratching my hair.

Maybe, I was too scared before that I didn't notice the pain and kept running. Now that, I was quite relaxed, I couldn't take a step on my painful legs. Alpha, who has been walking forward paused as he turned back while muttering,

" Did you not hear what I said just now.. " he paused, seeing me rubbing my legs,

He might have noticed that I'm not following him and had turned to check on me.

He touched my ankles gently as he asked, " Is it hurt? "

" Hm.. " I nodded, he looked carefully and was now going to fix it,

" Wait, wait, wait.." I screamed, " Say something to distract me while fixing it! "

He raised his eyebrows while I added, " Distraction will reduce my pain, "

He smiled faintly as he leaned closer to my lip,

" Wh-What are you doing? " I chuckled while he gets coming closer and closer to my lips making me blush,

" It's done.. " he said,

" Huh..? " I rubbed my forehead,

' So, he was only distracting me? ' I thought meanwhile he held my hands and lifted me so easily like I was just as light as a doll. His gesture not only just impressed me but also make m feel so embarrassed,

I was standing quite fine on my legs and suddenly get sprained my ankle when he agreed to take me in. Wasn't it too clingy? Wouldn't he think I was purposely doing this to seduce him? These are the gestures that usually cheap mistresses do to rich CEOs. Even if I say I didn't do it on purpose, who would believe me?

Even I wouldn't believe it if the victim here wasn't me.

Holding me in his arms, he elegantly walked up to his car. His chauffeur immediately opened the back seat for us and he gently put me on the seat before sitting beside me.

I didn't know what my mother was trying to tell me, but one thing that I knew was everything leads to Titans. Whether they were my parents' murderer or my savior. I could find out only by staying with them. This is why I begged him to

take me in so that I could find out the mystery behind my parents' death and avenge them.

" What the hell is this girl doing here? " The guy who had freed me from the dungeon asked excitedly while looking at Alpha with unpleasant eyes,

The guy had a very adorable face. One could say that he must be a very sweet and gentleman type of a person. But, not sure what was his problem that he would start picking on me for no reason. Wasn't he the one who was suggesting Alpha to kill me?

" She got attacked by the so-called righteous pack, " Alpha said,

" And so? " Alex raised his eyebrows,

" And so I saved her, "

" Well, I can see that, but can I know why? " he said while shooting a glance over me with the corner of his eyes,

" I just wanted to annoy those bunch of losers so, I saved her, " replied Alpha while moving forward as he pulled open a door and rushed in, followed by Alex. I was also going to follow Alpha and walked in but before I could enter,

Alex shut the door close on my face, leaving me out on my own,

" You, long face.. I'll see you later, " I smirked,
