Alpha then looked at me before saying in a disappointment, " Since you know nothing you are not useful to us. You can leave now, "

" Th.. thanks, Alpha, " I lowered my head in gratitude as I rushed out. I was in hurry to look for my parents. However, I couldn't ignore the voice I heard after coming out,

" Damien, why did you let her go? That girl knows nothing that we needed but she has seen a werewolf. How could you let her go alive? She should have been dead by now, "

" Alex, I don't want to talk about it right now. Besides, she is not a threat, let her live her life,"

" Fine, then can you answer me one thing? Why did you lie to her? You have never lied to anyone because you aren't afraid of anything. You don't have to make excuses for your actions. You never justified your deeds no matter how good or bad they were then why did you lie to her this time? Why didn't you tell her the truth? " Alex was sounding pretty annoyed,

I paused my steps and couldn't help wondering what they were talking about. What lies Alex was talking about? Alpha told me many things though I didn't understand much. But, which of them was a lie?

" I didn't lie to her, I... I couldn't. Everything that I said to her is THE TRUTH, " Alpha's deep voice sounded, It's hard to describe what was there in the voice that made me believe him. I trusted him when he said he didn't lie. I shook my head and then immediately rushed out.

" Mom... Dad... Are you in there? " I pushed open the front door and rushed in. Everything was lying there as I had seen the previous day. I swallowed my saliva before rushing up to the room where I had seen that wolf. However, my

legs got frozen at the door when I saw my parents lying on the floor. The white marble on the floor had turned red with their cold blood. The frozen blood on the floor was giving evidence that they were killed last night, probably just before I had arrived home.

" Mom... D... Dad.. "

I rushed up to their bodies and pulled their heads up, checking their wounds and pulses. But, I already knew the result. They were long gone.

" I... I'm sorry, Mom. I.. I shouldn't have left you alone. I shouldn't have gone out last night. I should have stayed at home. I'm sorry, Mom. I.. I should have listened to you. Please, forgive me and come back. Please Dad, you.. You promised to give answers to my questions. You can't leave like this. I.. I know, you are playing games with me, right? You know that I would ask you again

about my nightmares and all. You.. You don't have answers to my questions that's why you are playing dead, right? Okay, I.. I promise you, I.. I'll not ask anything from now. I.. I'll not ask about my nightmares. I.. I'll not ask why must we leave the city every year. I.. I'll not even complain about it. I'll move away whenever you ask me to but please don't scare me like this. Come back.. Please come back, Mom and Dad, "

I was sobbing while holding my parents' corpses in my laps and my gaze fell on a wall that made me feel goosebumps all over my body. There was something written with blood.

" Titans.. "

I read out the word written on the wall and then checked my Mom's fingers. Her hands were dyed red in blood but there was no wound in her hands. It means she had written this word with blood before dying.

' Why did she write this word on the wall? Was she trying to tell me something? What does this word mean? Could it be that she was telling the name of her murderer? But, Titan doesn't seem like a name of a person. Is.. Is it some kind

of Mafia group? But, why would anyone kill my parents? We are new here, we don't even know anyone here. Why would someone kill my parents? And why did my mother write this word? ' I thought,

" Though I don't know what exactly you were trying to tell me, Mom, but if my assumption is correct and Titan is really your sinner, I swear on my life, I'll never rest in peace until I do not avenge you and Dad, it's my promise to you, " I said it loud while closing my Mom's dead eyes who were still staring in the direction of the wall. She must have written those words in her last breath and wanted me to read them,

Just as I closed my Mom's eyelids, I heard the sound of footsteps approaching from outside. I immediately straighten myself and grabbed a flower wasp from the side table in case it was the murderer,

I have been waiting in terror for the door to push open and as soon as the door opened up, I rushed forward to hit whoever shows up from that door. However, my legs got frozen in the middle as I saw a familiar figure approaching from outside,

" Aunt Bonnie.. "

I called my aunt with a pitiful voice before throwing myself in her arms as I burst into tears, telling her everything that happened in the last twenty-four hours.

Aunt Bonnie was the only relative I knew and she was the only person who remained in touch with us. My parents used to cut ties with their friends and neighbors whenever they shift the city but Aunt Bonnie was the only person who always know which city we were going next. She was like a close friend to my parents and the one and only aunt of mine. No matter, how far we go, she would always come to visit me on my birthday and that day would be the only day in a year I see her. She had probably come to celebrate my birthday today but had to witness my parents' death.
