Chapter 7 Take her if you dare!

POV

' Did I hear something wrong? ' this was the first thought that occurred to my mind,

" You are.. what? "

She again smiled before turning her eyes dark as she yelled, " RUN IZZY.. NOW.. "

As soon as she screamed, two wolves were fallen apart from the circle in which they had circulated us, leaving a way to move out. I didn't waste a second and ran in that direction. After running for a while, I turned back and found the

wolves charging at Aunt Bonnie. I couldn't see anything clearly because all that I was seeing, were leaves and sands pushing wolves aside. Aunt Bonnie was nowhere to be seen. I just followed her instructions and kept running. However, two wolves from nowhere appeared and started chasing after me.

I had been running for my life. In that short moment of life, I had seen myself being killed by these wolves hundreds of times. I didn't know where to go. I was running aimlessly until I heard a voice,

" Go right.. "

" Who.. Who said this? " I asked with frowned voice,

" Go right.. "

The voice sounded again. This time, I didn't question back and took a right turn.

" Go right.. "

The voice sounded and I followed the instruction like before and it kept directing me until I took the last turn and bumped into something very hard and tough so that my head started spinning. I thought I bumped my head into some rock or a pillar, however, when I raised my head to get a proper look, my eyes met a pair of dark black eyes staring at me,

I immediately stepped back and looked at this familiar figure..

" Alpha... " I muttered while he narrowed his eyes before saying, " Izabelle Garfield? "

I had heard many friends calling me by my full name but I had never realized that my name could sound this beautiful until he called it. My heart almost stopped beating when it heard him taking my name with his soft lips,

My heart started arguing with me and I couldn't help throwing myself to him as I hugged him tightly before saying, " Alpha! Save me.. There.. There are two wolves after my life. I... I don't know why they are chasing me, "

Only after did I do that, I regret and slap myself in my mind. How could I be so shameless as to throw myself into a stranger's arm and beg him to help me? Even though I was scared, was it necessary to hug him? Couldn't I just ask him to

help me? Doesn't it look like I was trying to seduce this Alpha?

I closed my eyes in embarrassment but this feeling didn't last long as the sound of howl became louder. I broke our hug and turned back only to find two wolves howling loudly. I immediately hid behind the Alpha before pleading, " Alpha, save me, please.. "

But, the sight that I saw after this made the blood run cold in my body as the wolves who were chasing after me shifted themselves into humans.

" Werewolves?? " I muttered with stunning eyes, I had thought that these species are found only in fantasies. Didn't know that someday I would bump into real werewolves,

The two werewolves first glance at each other and then said, " Alpha Damien, stay out of this. This is not something you should meddle with, "

I swallowed my saliva thinking about what would happen to me if the Alpha get scared of these supernatural species and run away. However, Alpha Damien looked up at me before holding my hands as he asked while staring the scratches on my skin,

" Who hurt you?" he asked in a cold voice. It might be my illusions but I saw veins popping on his forehead while his hands were clenched into tight fists.

" I got them while running, " I replied,

He then turned to the werewolves and asked in a strict voice, " What if I do want to meddle? "

" You.. " one of them sneered, he was looking quite mad and wanted to immediately charge over Alpha but the other one stopped him before saying with a serious voice,

" We have come to know what happened in the meeting of Alphas. You forced them to register your pack but don't think that you can always do your own. Step aside and let us have her, "

" Why do you want her? " Alpha asked while narrowing his eyes,

"Do you really think we are going to tell you? " he smirked,

Alpha curled his lips into a sarcastic smile before holding my hands as he said with dark eyes, " Then, Come and take her if you dare, "

"Wh.. What? A.. Alpha! What are you doing? " I mumbled, even though he didn't say he was going to save me but wasn't he going too overboard to hand me over to them?

I looked up into the werewolves' eyes, however, they seemed to be afraid of something and didn't dare take any step closer to me...

" Don't think that we are accepting defeat, Alpha Damien. You might be the Alpha of the strongest pack Titan, but you are not immortal. We will see you later, "

After throwing out these words, those werewolves ran away. As soon as they left, Alpha let go of my hands while I was startled to hear them calling Alpha from a pack named 'Titan'.

Even though Aunt Bonnie had told me that my mother might want me to go to Titans but I had a strong feeling that by writing that word on the wall, she was implying her murderer.

" A.. Alpha, th.. thanks for saving my life, " I interrupted,

He didn't reply, instead, he asked with his magnetic voice, " Why were they after you? "

" I have no idea. They.. They even killed my parents, "

Alpha Damien was silent for a moment before saying, " Don't go to your home. They might be waiting for you there. Stay somewhere else, "
