Chapter 6 Three People Depending on Each Other

Harry frowned. He felt as if he had been deceived.

Olena had already got up to prepare breakfast in the living room.

Stacy was wearing pajamas, sitting alone on the sofa with a smile. "Did you sleep well last night?"

She thought that Harry would not come back last night. When she heard the noise at night, she got up and took a look. She knew that Harry had come back and slept in his bedroom.

This was a marriage that Madam had arranged for the young master. Of course, it was a good thing. Olena had been taking care of him. She was very happy that the young master was finally married.

Her joy showed on her face and tone which was somewhat ambiguous.

Stacy smiled reluctantly and said, "Pretty good, very good."

"Then hurry up and change your clothes. I'm going to prepare for breakfast. We'll have breakfast later." Olena walked into the dining room and began to make breakfast.

Stacy looked down at her pajamas, her clothes were in the bedroom.

"Now he should be dressed, shouldn't he?"

She stood up and walked towards the bedroom. Standing at the door, she raised her hand and knocked on the door.

No one responded.

She knocked again, but there was still no response.

She had no way but to open the door. The door was not locked from the inside. She pushed it and the door was opened.

However, at the moment when she opened the door, she felt it was like in the winter of December with a cold wind.

The man sat by the bed, staring coldly at a piece of paper.

That piece of paper—

Soon Stacy knew what he was holding, and then she saw the mess on the ground. She felt a sense of humiliation of being spied on by others. She ran in, grabbed the paper, and questioned, "Why did you peep at my stuff without my consent? You are violating my privacy!"

"Hehe."

Harry sneered. "Privacy?"

He looked rather mean with a fake smile on his face. "You're pregnant with a bastard in your belly and then marry me. Now you want to talk about privacy with me?"

"I... I..." Stacy wanted to explain, but for a moment, she could not find a proper excuse.

Harry stood up. He walked neither fast nor slow. Every step of him was like pushing the air close to her. He was furious and said. "Tell me, what's your purpose?"

Did she want him to be a father and become the first grandson of the Louise Family?

Was the deal just for expediency?

The more he thought about it, the more serious he became.

Stacy pursed her lips. Her body trembled and she kept stepping back. She covered her belly with her hands for fear that he would hurt the child. "I didn't mean to hide it from you. We were just making a deal, so I didn't tell you. There is no purpose."

Harry said in a deterrent tone. "Really?"

Stacy protected her lower abdomen, quietly walked away, and struggled to keep calm. "Yes, how can I get away with this? I promise if I have any purpose, I will not die in peace. If I really want to play tricks on you, you will find a way to kill me right?"

Although she moved slightly, Harry still noticed it. He glanced at her abdomen.

Harry fixed his eyes on her face and asked, "Why didn't you say it before?"

Harry could not trust her easily.

She slowly clenched her hands. This child was a surprise to her, but it was still her baby. She had lost her brother, so she wanted to give birth to this child.

In the future, she could live with her mother as before, and the three of them would live together.

At the thought of that night, she couldn't help but tremble. "I, I just knew it."

She didn't even dare to tell Janet. She didn't put the checklist at home because she was afraid that Janet would see it.

She didn't expect that Harry would find it.

This made Harry suspect her motives.

She was only 18 years old, and she...

She must have a discreet private life.

Harry was gloomy, and he warned, "In this month, behave yourself and don't mess up with me."

"No, I won't. I will behave myself. If I do anything out of line, you can do whatever you want." Stacy quickly promised.

Even if he didn't trust her, she couldn't make him suspect her.

She was already in a dilemma. If she had one more enemy, it would be too bad for her to get things back.

Harry stared at her with inquiring eyes as if he was judging whether she was telling the truth.

"Thump, thump—" At this time, Olena came over and said, "Breakfast is ready."

Harry looked away and controlled his temper. "Clean up the ground."

After that, he turned around and went out.

As soon as Harry left, Stacy's legs felt all rubbery. She held the short cabinet behind her and took a long time to recover. She squatted down and picked up the scattered clothes on the ground.

When she saw the B-mode ultrasound in her hand, her tears fell down on the paper.

She wiped her tears. She couldn't cry, it was a sign of weakness.

She couldn't be weak. Both her mother and the baby needed her.

She folded the paper and put it in the bag. Then she changed her clothes and went out.

There was no one in the dining room. An empty coffee cup and an empty plate were on the table. He should have left after breakfast.

Stacy sighed with relief. It was really depressing to get along with that man.

She walked to the dining table and ate.

After breakfast, she went out. She told Janet that she would come back in case she worried about her.

As soon as she entered the door, Janet asked her, "The young master of the Louise family..."

"Mom." Stacy was very serious, and she didn't want to say more about it. "He's good. Don't worry about me."

Janet sighed. Her daughter had her own thoughts now as she grew up, and she did not want to listen to her. So she could not help but feel lost, "I just care about you."

She was afraid that the man would treat her badly.

Stacy hugged her. She didn't mean it. She just felt tired after she confronted Harry and tried to persuade him.

"Mom, I'm just a little tired. I didn't mean it."

"I know, I won't blame you." Janet seemed to feel her exhaustion from her back. "If you are tired, you can sleep for a while."

Stacy nodded. Although she didn't want to sleep, she did feel tired. When she returned to her room, she fell asleep unconsciously.

At noon, Janet cooked and asked her to get up for lunch.

Sitting at the dining table, Janet gave her a bowl of rice. "I've made your favorite fish."

In her heart, Janet felt guilty for her daughter. Although she gave birth to her, she did let her enjoy a good childhood but suffered a lot with her.

Stacy looked at the sweet-and-sour fish made by her mother on the table. It tasted sour and sweet. She loved it before, but when she smelled it now, she felt sick in her stomach.

She couldn't help but vomit, "Hmm..."

"Stacy."

Stacy had no time to explain, she covered her mouth and went into the bathroom, lying on beside the sink and retching.

Janet came over with worry. She had gone through it. Looking at her daughter's reaction, her face was slightly pale. But she didn't believe it. Her daughter was very conservative and honest. She had never had a boyfriend at school. She loved herself very much.

Janet's voice was a little trembling, "Stacy, what's wrong with you?"

Stacy suddenly stiffened, and her hands clenched on the edge of the sink. If she decided to give birth to the child, Janet would know it sooner or later.

She turned around, looked at her mother, and plucked up her courage.

"Mom, I'm pregnant."

Janet couldn't stand firm and took a step back. She couldn't believe it, her daughter was only 18 years old!
