Chapter 3 A Caring Sassy Girl

Vrick and I made our way through the crowd of students who were hailing, whispering and taking pictures of us.

It isn't new anymore to us as we both are already used to the attention.

Vrick held me possessively as usual and I didn't complain as I only kept a smiling face.

Vrick who looked hot on his black attire and black shades just walked directly to his class ignoring the stares and screams from hungry female students.

I almost thought you changed your mind about coming, someone said as she took my brothers hand, the same hand he held me with.

But unfortunately for her Vrick's grip on my hand was to strong to be removed like she wanted.

She glared daggers at me making sure Vrick didn't see her and I made sure to stick my tongue out at her making her frown deeply.

I missed you, she said to Vrick and I scoffed loudly.

Ciara, Vrick called and paused.

Yes Maverick honey, she said trying to sound sweet.

Maverick honey, so boring, I muttered to her hearing

I watched Vrick as he twisted his nose slightly, I almost burst out laughing because I know that look.

Vrick was irritated by her but he just couldn't say so to her and I don't understand why he still allows her touch and talk to him.

We have class in two minutes, come on run along kid we need to be in class, she said to me sounding as sweet as ever but she snared at me making me scoff.

Vrick whose face wore no expression all these while turned to look at me as he stylishly released himself from her hold.

He bent to my level and whispered, see you after classes are over, tigress then he brushed my hair with his hands tucking some lingering strands of hair at the back of my ear.

I blushed at his gesture as I nodded and walked away.

I was walking towards my class in deep thought, Vrick is like the best gift you can ever ask for but then this is only known by me and ofcourse HER if she still remembers.

After dad died ten years ago, Vrick changed totally.

He became a totally different person, all the sweetness gone and replaced with a ruthless being.

My mind wandered to the stupid girl earlier and I sighed in disgust.

Dirty girl, I thought twitching my nose.

If she thinks she can win my brothers heart then she is in for a lifetime chase, I thought smirking.

My thoughts was cut short when I stumbled on something and before I could catch my self I already collided with someone hitting my nose on the person's back.

What the..... I heard the person say but then she paused but I didn't bother looking up as I clutched my nose in my hands.

My eyes were already turning as I could not regain my composure immediately.

Little things always affects me and I can't seem to understand why.

Why do you have eyes when you can't use them? she fired when she turned.

I didn't say a word, I just clutched my aching nose with my left hands.

Are you okay? she asked again this time with a worried tone.

Blood, she said again as she removed the hand I used in covering my face then using her white handkerchief to wipe the blood but they kept on pouring.

Come let me take you to the school clinic, she said as she held me carefully and I followed her.

I don't even know where it is, I heard her say.

I could feel her body shaking. I would have laughed if I was not in pain right now.

Taking me to the clinic when you don't even know your way huh, I thought.

Uhhm can you... she tried asking someone but the person ignored her completely.

I'm screwed, she said but her hand never left me, don't worry I will take care if you, she said assuring me.

But she was still confused, she didn't know who to ask anymore as no one bothered to answer her.

Its the last building on your left, I said weakly.

Oh, she said then she started leading me towards the direction, we both walked down quietly until we finally got there.

What happened to Ms Benson, I heard nurse Flora ask as she rushed to my side helping us both in.

Uhm she.. she... blood, the strange girl struggled to say as she tried to explain but then the nurse looked at me and saw the blood soaked handkerchief.

Oh my God you are bleeding from the nose again she exclaimed as she brought me in to sit on the chair then she made me raise my head up.

After five minutes she was gone checking and cleaning me up, the blood has already stopped and I was resting a bit yet the strange girl didn't leave.

I pretended my eyes were close but I watched her instead.

She checked her wristwatch at intervals but her eyes barely left me.

Such a caring sassy girl, I thought

Beck then when she was looking for the clinic, I refused saying a work because I wanted to test her level of patience and I wanted to punish her too for screaming at me.

Thank you, I whispered but I was sure she heard me.

I watched her smile for the first time, she is really hot and beautiful.

My name is Molly, I said smiling

Vine, she said casually

Back to the arrogant bitch huh, I thought

You are new?

Yes, I was on my way to the principals office before... you know...

The principals office?

And she was walking close towards my class? I chuckled inwardly at the thought.

Oh, I'm sorry I delayed you, I will take you there now, I said standing up

No Molly, you don't need to, I just need to make sure you are fine, she said turning around, I will be on my way now.

Aww, how my name sounds on her lips.

Wait, I called and she halted

I directed her to the principals office and she left after muttering a hesitant thank you.

At least she smiled at me.

I watched her as she left and smiled.

Someone came into the clinic in a rush, where is she? the voice asked.

I knew who it was so I just closed my eyes waiting for him.

Molly?

Are you sleeping?

I opened my eyes and the look i saw on his face was priceless.

I'm alright Vrick, you shouldn't worry, it my fault, I pleaded for the up tenth time but he refused to listen

Is she blind that she didn't see you coming? he questioned angrily as he was walking me back to my class.

I was the one who didn't see her believe me, she even helped me a lot, I said trying to pacify him.

He groaned in frustration.

Be careful next time Molly, he whispered as his brows creased in worry.

I nodded and he gave me a small hug.

Be a good girl okay, he said this time without smiling.

Vrick can only smile cheerfully at home.

I watched him walk away before entering my class.

Come in Ms Benson, how do you feel now? Mr Aaron asked shocking me.

I should be receiving tongue lash from this ugly duckling but he's here asking how I'm feeling?

I told him im fine now then he made way for me to walk into the class.

Just like me shock was written on everyones faces.

I guess being Maverick Benson sister is a huge bonus.

My mind went to the stranger I met earlier and I smiled , I can't wait to see her again or maybe bump into her, I chuckled at my thought

Mr Aaron glared at me and I placed my hands on my big mouth
