Chapter 10 Help Me, Mike

Looking at Mia Wood's hand, which was grasping one of her own, Mary Miller suddenly had a bad feeling. Therefore, she tried hard to get rid of her grip. "Let go of my hand. Mia Wood, what are you trying to do?"

"Come home with me," said Mia.

"No. I don't want to be pushed to that man by you guys," replied Mary.

"I don't understand what you're talking about. We just want to marry you to a good man. Mr. Carter is so rich that you'll definitely live a happy life if you two marry each other. And that's the shared wish of our family."

The woman's disgusting lies enraged Mary and made the latter slap the former in the face.

Instantly, the look in Mia's eyes grew furious. "How dare you hit me? You bitch!"

The other woman responded, "So what?!"

Mia then tried to fight back.

Mary dropped the grocery bag on the ground and confronted the other woman head-on.

At that moment, a yellow Lamborghini stopped near to the two.

Noticing that Eric Carter was in the car, Mary gritted her teeth, pushed her cousin hard, and then started to run.

As it was quite noisy outside the supermarket, no one noticed what was happening to Mary.

Mary ran at her fast speed, and even her hat dropped due to the oncoming wind. However, how could she be faster than Eric's vehicle?

The woman was horrified. She took out the cell phone from her pocket and thought about who she could call for help. The police? Not a good choice. First of all, the policemen would probably not arrive in time. Besides, as a young master of a wealthy and influential family, Eric could easily get away from the punishment of the legal system even if he had killed someone. Hence, it would be useless to call the police.

All of a sudden, the name Hank Cook occurred to the woman.

She then dialed the number.

Those who were chasing after the woman shouted, "Stop. Don't move!"

Mary quickened her pace, and fortunately, her call was answered.

"Help me, Mike. Save me." She was talking to Hank, but somehow, she called Mike's name.

On the other of the line, Mike clearly heard the woman's cry for help.

He then commanded his assistant, who was driving the car, to speed up, an emotionless look in his dark eyes.

"Yes, Sir." Hank looked at the GPS navigation and sped up.

At this moment, Mary had been caught by those pursuers and been taken into Eric's car.

Then the car left.

Witnessing the entire process, Mia beamed with joy as her family did not need to pay Eric's money back in this case.

Several passers-by noticed what had happened to Mary.

Someone said, "Some men are taking that girl away. Shall we call the police?"

"Yes, call the police."

A person took out his cell phone, and at the same time, Mia rushed over to him and said, "That's my sister. She has some mental problems. Those people are taking her to the hospital for medical treatment."

Mary's eyes were widened open in shock, and she continued cursing the man.

Eric tore her dress.

Helplessly, the woman tried to kick him.

Without regard to the fact that there were other people in the car, the lascivious man went on with his actions, laughing.

"Ha!"

"Ah!"

All of a sudden, a black car crashed into Eric' Lamborghini.

The huge impact shook everyone in the vehicle.
