Chapter 6 You Owe Me One Million!

Nina's face changed. She knew it would not be easy to apologize to someone so powerful. She had expected she would be screwed. But she never thought she would have to be humiliated to earn his forgiveness. She couldn't accept either of the choices they gave her.

"Miss, please let me see Mr. Tang. I have to apologize to him but I can't choose either of the choices he gave me." Nina grabbed the woman's hand as she pleaded for mercy. The woman only looked at Nina's helpless expression with apathy. "Mr. Tang has already given you two choices. You should be happy you even have the chance to choose. If you don't want the sex, then choose the first option. Don't worry, I won't let them touch you."

Nina turned to look at the men gathered. "No, I don't want to take my clothes off." Although Nina had more to learn about loving herself, she couldn't just give up her body just like that.

"Silly girl, choose this one as soon as possible. If you make your choice later, Mr. Tang will only get angrier. He would give your body to these men. Trust me, you'd rather choose death than that." Nina didn't know what to do. The woman noticed her hesitance so she reminded her of why she was here in the first place. From her place on the floor, Daisy nodded hard. Nina knew what she would have to do but how could she bear this kind of humiliation? All of a sudden, something glimmering on the table caught her attention. It was a piece of broken glass. She quickly grabbed it and put it on her neck. "I won't choose even if I die!"

Nina felt her wrist hurt, as if something hit it. The glass she was holding fell to the ground. At the same time, a man came into the room and said, "Why would you do that? Didn't you tell Mr. Tang that I already owned you since last night?"

The familiar voice made Nina's heart tremble. She sharply looked at him in a mixture of shock and disbelief.

"It's Mr. Teng!"

"Mr. Teng is here."

"Oh my God!"

The chatter of the crowd soon began to fill the room.

The door to Room 302 was kicked open from the inside. A man with short hair and dressed in a dark colored shirt came out. He was tall, thin, and handsome. But when he stood beside Bobby, everyone could see who the more handsome man was.

"Mr. Teng, are you kidding me?" The powerful and influential Jase Tang stood beside Bobby and shouted at him. He looked weak and frail compared to Bobby's virile figure. Nina unconsciously glanced at Bobby, appreciating his vibe.

Memories of last night flashed across her mind. She felt her cheeks blush at having these thoughts at such an inappropriate time. Bobby smirked at Jase, "Mr. Tang, do I look like a person who would joke around?"

"It was really you?!" Jase asked incredulously.

"Yes. My car hit the taxi she was on last night. She got out and I was instantly smitten. The accident must have been destiny."

Jase turned sharply at Nina. "Didn't you tell him you already had an appointment?"

"I…"

"She said she needed to go to Room 8888 of Hilton Hotel. You know, I don’t like the hotel number. If it was any other number, I wouldn’t have been so interested in stealing her. And besides, if I want a woman, no one could say no to me. Not even you, right?"

"Bobby! So you did it on purpose!" Jase's eyes widened in surprise. Bobby only glared back at Jase. But when he noticed how uncomfortable Nina looked and her friend who was still crumpled on the ground, he smiled coldly at Jase. He took out a check book from his pocket and wrote something on the top of it. "It's really not a big deal. You know what kind of person I am. It wasn't intentional, I assure you. It was a happy coincidence that the person my car hit was also the person you wanted. But I had no idea you were the one waiting in Room 8888. I'm at fault here. If I spoiled your plans, here's one million to compensate your loss. I'm sorry." Bobby placed the check directly on Jase's hand. "Let's let this incident pass between us, shall we?"

"You…" Jase still wanted to say something but someone pulled his clothes behind him. He paused before he smiled at Bobby. "Ha, I guess today is a really good day for me. Even the dignified Mr. Teng has come to apologize to me. I'm happy to forgive everyone so I'll accept this apology." As Jase spoke, two bottles of beer were handed over to him and Bobby. Jase smiled as he accepted the beer but Bobby only clapped his hands. A beautiful woman immediately came forward and handed him a bottle of wine.

"I'd love to drink with you but I only drink my own wine," Bobby said. After that, he popped the bottle open and poured wine directly into his mouth. He cleaned up with a handkerchief after that and smiled. "I'll take this girl off your hands."

Without waiting for Jase's response, Bobby grabbed Nina's hand and dragged her towards the elevator. Immediately, Nina's eyes darted towards Daisy, who was still lying on the ground. Just then, the woman who handed Bobby wine helped Daisy up. "I'll send her back."

Bobby and Nina disappeared in the elevator and Daisy was taken to a private room. The smile on Jase's face disappeared.

"Bobby!" He spat Bobby's name in anger. A middle-aged man carefully approached him. "Mr. Tang, a woman is not worth your fighting with Bobby Teng. Our company's project in A City needs his help. Please endure it while the project is under development."

Jase took a calming breath before he said, "I know. This one million he gave me is ridiculous. He wanted to spend money just to convince me to let that woman go."

"Mr. Tang, should we just kill..." Ameer suggested, but before he could finish, the middle-aged man scolded him, "Are you crazy?! Your plan could ruin the company's plan. Do you really want to die?"

Ameer lowered his head in shame. Jase raised his hand to knock on his forehead. "Use your head next time. This is not C City." Jase then turned to the middle-aged man again and said, "Titan, don't worry. I won't make any trouble for now." And with that, Jase turned around and slung an arm around the beautiful woman with the whip. He stuffed Bobby's check between her ample breasts and said, "Enjoy this gift, dear."

Bobby didn't say a word to Nina until they got out of the elevator.

She wanted to say thank you but she felt this was also his fault.

After hesitating, she found herself out of the club and in front of his car once again.

"You owe me one million," Bobby said as he opened the door and got in. Nina stood with her mouth agape. She reached out and grabbed his door. "What? What did you say? I owe you one million? Why? The one million you gave as apology?"

"Apology?" Bobby smiled mockingly at her. "If it weren't for the fear that you would be humiliated before being killed, do you think I would have bought your freedom with one million dollars? You and Jase are ridiculous. He didn't deserve my apology. Even his father has to smile and suck up to me."
