Chapter 5 That Night

"Why do I only see misery through your beautiful eyes? What kind of pain do you cover behind your smile?"

Actually, Zev wanted to tell Athena what had been happened to both of them that night but it seemed Athena didn't want to know. There was a part of him that wanted to read her mind but Zev chose to hold himself and wait until Athena talked to him regarding this matter even though he was so curious about her opinion.

When Zev wanted to talk to her, he found out that the woman was still trying to run away from him so he thought that was better if he let her go for now but he promised himself that he would go to find her no matter what because she left her with enormous questions in his head.

That night

"Athena, do you really want to be my mate?" Zev asked her again to made sure that what he had decided was the right decision because if she didn't want it then that man really didn't want to force her to be her mate either.

"Yes. I do." She answered while looked at him and smiled. Zev knew that she was supposed to kill him but at the same time, she was also his mate so Zev had had to do the right thing without forced her.

"Then you have to remember from this now on that you are... mine." That man whispered in her left ear as he hoped that she would never forget every single word that he imprinted in her soul that night.

Zev had looked at Athena's face and her face looked so different because that woman seemed like she had drunk something by someone and it made her want to release her urge.

"Athena, are you alright?" He asked her but after a few minutes she couldn't respond to him normally. Instead she wrapped her arms around Zev's nape. Her smiles had filled with seduction as her eyes reflected a wish as if she needed him to fulfill her tonight. "Athena, what are you going to do?" Zev asked her, as he tried to be calm even though the fact, he couldn't.

"I also don't know what happened to me but I know that I want you." Athena said while her finger explored his cheek and Zev knew this woman was sent by someone to seduce him and kill him. If this woman succeed in her mission then another assassin would kill her or this woman was the only executor. Fortunately, he had brought this woman to his private mansion so no one knew it. At this point, Zev had to admit, her seduction was so hard to resist.

Zev was shocked when his phone rang but that man decided to answer the phone call first.

"Hallo,"

"Mr. Russel, I give you the best gift for you. I hope you will be happy tonight." A voice heard from his phone before he called out the phone call.

Zev had looked at Athena who started to undress herself in front of him until there was nothing that man couldn't see. Even that wasn't the first time for Zev to see a naked woman, but everything became so different since he knew the woman that was naked in front of him was his mate.

She had come closer as he made a hand gesture as if she invited him to eat her soon but Zev had known that this probably a trap so he couldn't let anything happened between Athena and him that night even though Athena was the most great temptation but Zev had had to close his eyes from touching her even that was tortured him for sure as his heart contents wanted to marked her soon but he had to restricted himself.

Athena had made him shocked when she kissed Zev vigorously as her hand grabbed his wrist and guided his right hand to touch her chest and she put his left arm wrapped perfectly on her slender waist. Oh!

"Look at me," Athena had whispered in his left ear before sucked it gently as his body became hot and almost boiled. "Don't you want me to serve you tonight?"

It was so difficult to not do anything to a naked woman that seduced him like that but Zev knew that was a trap so he didn't let his guard down and let him be seduced by her even though It was not easy at all to ignore her, but he had to.

"You know that I want you but I will not let the one who sent you get what they want from me." Zev said seductively before he bit her nape so hard to mark her. Since Zev knew that she was his mate, he had thought marking her was a very important process to make her become his completely.

"Ah!" Her sweet moaning was become his internal torture because Zev didn't want to touched her at that night for two reasons.

First, Zev Russel didn't want to take a risk that put his people into danger as he knew this was a trap and someone had sent her to kill him with a silver dagger that had fallen on the floor when she got undressed. It was clear like a crystal clear that someone who knew about his real identity wanted him die but he didn't have a clue who was the one behind this woman.

And the second reason why Zev did not want to touch her with this way. Athena wasn't his girlfriend nor his wife and he thought, how come he touched a woman that had been drugged with an aphrodisiac like this?

"Zev, touch me like this." Athena had guided his hand on her chest to tracing down to her private flower as it was wet and ready to be invaded by him but Zev has a strong heart and he didn't want to be like this. No one could control him because he has to be the one who makes the rules, not that unknown who had sent Athena like this.

As he had bit Athena, she would need him in her lifetime and she couldn't betray him as well. Zev knew that he had to consummate this bond and that man was sure that Athena would become his soon and also Zev didn't think that Athena would reject him either because the mark that was sowed in her would bring her to him.

Athena had looked at him with the sparks of lust in her eyes but Zev didn't want her to regret it when she waked up later so Zev thought that he had had to finish it soon before that man couldn't ignore her anymore.

"Why don't you want me? Am I not worth enough for a man? Am I so disgusting?" Athena had stared at him as if she had almost cried but she seemed to hold herself from crying but her questions had made him curious about her.

'What had happened to her? Why did such questions come out of her beautiful mouth?'
