Chapter 4 The mafia wedding

★ MAFIA WEDDING ★

Camila stared at the mirror in front of her in anger. For one full week Erduardo Delgado had trapped her in his luxurious estate. What frustrated her most was the fact that she had not seen his face since the other day in his office and now today was the day she would get tied to the bastardo .

" Good morning Miss Vasquez ,you need to smile a little so I can take beautiful pictures of your wedding "One of the makeup artists said and Camila continued staring at the mirror without a single word.

"There's no way I'm going to stay here and watch myself get married to this arrogant and controlling man "Camila spat frustratedly .

" Ma'am are you okay "the makeup artist asked in concern .

" Is this the bride to be ? Oh my goodness what a beautiful soul Camila heard someone's voice that made turn in her direction .

" I am Yuri Delgado , Erduardo's mother "she said and Camila forced a smile .

" I'm Camila Vasquez ,your son's wife to be "she said, forcing herself to say the words . The last thing she wanted was to hurt the woman .

" The pictures on the internet got nothing on you sweetheart ,you are beautiful " Yuri said as she kissed Camila's forehead .

" I can't believe I will be watching the both of you tie the knot tonight "she said and Camila swallowed nothing.

Too bad she was going to ruin this wedding before it even began . Her dream of watching them get married will not come into reality .

As if knowing her intentions Erduardo had men stationed in areas that she could not even escape the Mansion itself .

" Good morning Madam Yuri , the Godfather has asked that we bring Miss Camila to the garden "Quinton said as he bowed in obedience .

Camila's heart beat crazily against her chest as they walked towards the gardens with Quinton in front .

Different thoughts ran through her mind with each step she took towards the garden , she at least had the right to choose a suitable life partner for herself ,someone who loved her genuinely .

" Mrs Delgado"She said and Yuri looked at her with concern .

"Is everything okay sweetheart ? "She asked and Camila shook her head .

" I'm pressed ma'am I really need to use the restroom "she said and Quinton turned towards them suspiciously.

" Really ,oh dear that's serious "Yuri said, staring at the beautiful bride in front of her innocently.

" Qui...."she called and Camila shook her head . Calling Quinton meant mission unsuccessful because the man would not let her move an inch .

" Ma'am I don't think it's necessary ,just point at the direction and I think I can get there on my own "She said nervously and Yuri took a deep breath in and out .

" Everyone is already waiting for us at the garden Camila "she said and Camila gave her the cutest puppy eyes she could not resist.

"I won't take long "she said and Quinton walked over to them .

" Is everything okay ? "He asked in concern .

" There I'd no cause for alarm , Camila needs to use the washroom and I'm sure one of these ladies can accompany her "Yuri said and Quinton opened and closed his mouth like a fish .

Letting this smart woman walk off on her own meant trouble ,that's if they all want the capo to have his head .

" I don't think she should go alone Mom " Quinton said and Yuri gasped .

" You want to see someone else's woman in the restroom, is that it ? "She asked and he shook his head .

" I sincerely apologise mom "he said bowing his head in embarrassment.

" I'll be right back ma'am "Camila said and left with one of the girls .

Immediately she got into the bathroom in her room ,she checked up trying to find the perfect spot to escape . Her eyes moved over to the window and she cursed under her breath .

That's impossible ,she can't jump off the toilet window or she'll end up hurting herself .

Walking out of the restroom she moved over to the big window in her room and looked outside . The distance from the window to the floor was a bit high and scary .

" Miss Vasquez"the maid called from outside.

" I'm not done ! "Camila said as her heart beat crazily against her chest . She dropped the curtain from the window and began to release herself slowly . Immediately she landed on the floor but first she twisted her ankle and drops of blood rolled down from the injury .

Gasping in pain she sent her hand to her hair where took off the pin in her bun and using it to rip off a part of her wedding dress she tied her bleeding leg.

" I have to get out of here no matter what "she muttered under her breath and began to creep behind the flowers .

She cursed under her breath when she sighted soldiers walking around.

" Sound the alarm Marcus the capobranco's bride is trying to escape the estate "one of the men said and her eyes widened .

She had not even successfully escaped and these people already knew she had gone missing . Shutting her eyes tightly she fought the urge to curse Eduardo .

" You should have been sensitive enough to know Camila would try and embarrass me on this day Quinton!" Erduardo bursted angrily.

" I sincerely apologise Capo ,I will make sure we find her and bring her to the altar "Quin said as he left Immediately .

" It's all my fault ,I ... didn't know the girl was that crazy to run away from her own wedding" Yuri said and the Godfather said nothing the entire time .

" The Elders and everyone important in the business is seated here waiting for the boss to get married ,I did not raise a failure as leader Eduardo " Sebastiano said in anger .

" She's going to be my wife at the end of the day, father , Mr Vasquez signed her off already and it's not my fault that he raised a spoilt heiress instead of a sensible woman "Erduardo said calmly and Mr Vasquez looked away in embarrassment.

" Camila is my daughter and I'm certain she's just scared of what this marriage entails ,I presume you haven't been gentle and women are supposed to be treated with gentleness "Mr Vasquez said in annoyance.

" After selling off your daughter to me you have no right to preach about gentleness . Say that again and you'd fvcking have a bullet in between your head ,trust me when I say I'm not bluffing "he said and Mr Vasquez swallowed down nothing as he looked away .

" I will talk to her Immediately she's found "he said as his heart squeezed in hurt .

" where the fvck are you going ?" Sebastiano asked Immediately his son stood you .

" To get my supposed bride myself "he said and made his way out of the venue while people talked amongst themselves .

Pictures where not allowed in the venue since this was supposed to be a very private affair.

" Have you found the little brat Ignacio "he asked Immediately his hands went to his bluetooth.

" Found her the minute the news got to me , she's currently at the back of your room "Ignacio said and Erduardo took heavy strides towards the area as he cursed in thick Spanish language .

He felt like ripping the girls ability to even breath ,his eyes had seen enough sh#t while serving the business,the last thing he needed was an immature brat as his wife .

Immediately he got to the garden ,his eyes scanned the place ,from the flowers to the big pool .

" Miss Vasquez ! "He said his voice loud enough for her to hear him .

Immediately Camila heard his voice she froze we her eyes stung with unshed tears.

" Come out ,the last thing we both want Is for me to get you myself "he said with both hands tucked in the pocket of his formal pants .

" I do not like the unnecessary drama ,walk out from behind the flowers and get married like mature adults "he said and she stood up Immediately .

" I DON'T WANT TO MARRY YOU ERDUARDO "she said and stared at her calmly.

" I am not jumping or dancing in excitement at the thought of marrying you either so let's go get married " he said and she glared daggers at him. Camila had never in the twenty two years of her existence hated someone as much as she hated Erduardo .

The man was everything she has never wanted in a man .

" Do you think I'm just trying to play hard to get Eduardo ? I'm seriously not interested in this union "she said as her voice broke on the edge.

Erduardo walked over to her as he held her by the wrist Camila tried to pull off his hand and he let her fall straight into the pool .

She got out of the water with every single part of her body soaking wet .

He bent as he stared at the stubborn woman in front of him .

" Are you gonna walk with me to the garden or let me drag you with me "he asked and she glared at him as her lips quivered in hurt .

Camila got out of the water dripping wet as her leg hurt . She walked with him as they got to the venue and all eyes moved over to them .

Mr Vasquez stared at his daughter in shock .

" They should at least let her Change "he said and Yuri shook her head .

" With the look on Eduardo's face ,I'm sure that's the last thing on his mind "she said and he felt guilty for doing this to his own daughter .

Camila stared at everyone in embarrassment ,she hated the fact that she had to get married looking like someone who escaped the mental hospital .

A priest was right in front of them ready to bless the Union between her and this criminal . She couldn't bring herself to understand why he would involve himself with criminals ,he must be a criminal himself .

" Sweetheart .."Mr Vasquez said as he tried to hold her hand but she took two steps back as tears rolled out of her eyes .

" Don't touch me "she whispered not loud enough for others to hear but he got the memo and moved away from her .

Fighting the Delgado's was of no use , especially when her father had willingly signed her off to the Delgado's for the benefit of his empire,as she watched the priest say the words to everyone present there she felt sick in the pit of her stomach .

Just like that she was getting involved in a mafia wedding ,not just that she was marrying Capobranco .

They exchanged rings and everything didn't go like the normal wedding procession.

"I present to you Mr and Mrs Erduardo Delgado"the priest said and Camila stared at the expensive stone on her finger .

The ring was definitely luxurious and will cost a fortune ,but why did it look like a little handcuff ,why was being married to Capobranco already felt like a life imprisonment .
