Chapter 3 Meeting the devil

★MEETING THE DEVIL ★

"Don't tell me this is your most decent dress, Miss Vasquez, " Quinton said after he walked over to Camila's room to walk her downstairs for dinner .

" No matter how decent I try to dress ,I can't change the fact that my body is gonna look like this . It's not my fault "She said as she looked everywhere else but him .

Quinton chuckled at the fact that Camila was right ,but what he did not want to think about was if Eduardo would understand the fact that she had a mind of her own .

" This way " he said as he walked her towards the dinner table .

Camila's eyes widened as they got to the luxurious table . It was fully decorated with different dishes and expensive utensils .

Professionals stood by the side in their neat well ironed formal shirts and black pants with shiny shoes . They had white aprons around their waist and their hair was covered with a white cap .

The women were clad in black maid uniforms and shiny black shoes . Their white socks reached their knees and they had gloves on their hands .

" Good evening ma'am "they chorused as she got to the table . Quinton moved her chair , helping her sit comfortably on the chair .

" I will be right back "he said and she gave a nod as he walked away .

" Ma'am the menu "one of them said as he handed the menu over to her .

Camila's eyes widened as she stared at the list of exotic dishes on the menu . Was this some sort of joke or these people really served these expensive dishes .

Growing up with her Dad Camila had lived an expensive life ,but this was definitely more than what she expected .

" When will he be joining me "she asked calmly as her eyes moved over to the maids .

They had their eyes on the floor refusing to even look at her . She raised her eyebrows in disbelief as her eyes looked around the room .

We're these people real people or robots ? Why was nobody saying anything?

" Okay ,I am Camila Vasquez "she said softly and no one said anything . She stared at the food in front of her and began to eat. It was indeed prepared by a good chef but she just couldn't bring herself to eat comfortably .

What if this was all a plan to finish her up ? After all, the nerdy looking guy has warned her about death.

She raised her hand to get something and three different people helped her with it .

Camila took a deep breath in and out and fought the urge to scream in frustration .

No one would talk to her about Capobranco , and now they were all acting like fvcking robots .

She dropped her utensil and stood up .

" Is everything okay Miss Vasquez "Quinton said, joining her .

" Just take me to Mr. Erduardo please," she said and he smiled as he walked in front , leading her towards Erduardo's office .

Camila felt fear sweep over her as they walked through the dark hallway .They got to his study room and he rang the doorbell before leading her inside .

" She has arrived Boss "Quinton said as he bowed .

" You may leave "Erduardo said as he moved over to the tall beauty in front of him .

She refused to leave the door and he let his eyes travel through her body . Camila was indeed a beauty to behold ,the pictures in the media did not do enough justice . This woman looked even more enticing in person .

Quinton walked through the door and Camila took a deep breath in and out . Everything about his aura scared the shit out of her .

So this was Capobranco , she stared at the man in front of her nervously .

Her eyes moved over to his black well ironed shirt and dark pants . Erduardo was a sexy man and he did not need too much work to pull it off .

" Are you going to stand by the whole day, Miss Vasquez ? "He asked and Camila cursed under her breath .

The devil is supposed to have horns and a bad eye , why the hell is Eduardo the spitting image of a Greek food .

" Good evening Mr Delgado "She said and he gestured towards the empty chair in front of him .

Everything about the man in front of her was dark ,even the interior of his study room .

Erduardo gave a nod as he stared at her dress ,is this what Quintin referred to as decent . He controlled the urge to burn the filthy dress on her spotless skin .

" Quinton must have told you the things I like and do not like "Erduardo said as he moved over to her chest .

Was this Spanish woman kissing him or what ? Why the fvck was she not wearing a bra ? Erduardo could swear he could see the buds of her standing bosoms .

" Nobody told me anything ,your servants would not speak a word about you.For a minute I thought I was going to die ! Camila said angrily and Erduardo stared at her calmly .

" You can't marry me with that attitude Camila "he said and she stared at him in disbelief.

" I ..."she trailed .

" I will cut off your tongue and your father would not have a say in it ,after all he's selling you off "Erduardo said with a calmness that made her feel sick .

" That's not fair Erduardo , I'm not going to do this anymore ! I don't think I like it here "she said as her voice shook at the end .

" You are not supposed to like it here , after all nothing goes for nothing here "he said and her eyes stung with unshed tears.

" We are going to get married to Eduardo, you should at least learn to be more gentle ...."she trailed and he stared at her .

" I'm very sure you know how things work around here ,you will be my wife , you will fulfil your duties in the other room ,you will bear my children that's all you need to know "he said and she stared at him in shock .

" You know what , I will not bring myself low to the point of getting married to a monster . You think I'm one of those people you hurt ? No I'm Camila Vasquez and I will not settle for someone as disgusting as you !"she bursted angrily and Erduardo just stared at the bar without a single word as she made her way out of his office angrily.

There was no point in getting into a baseless argument with the beauty queen ,she belonged to him and it's not like her stupid father had an ounce of care for her , he was going to sell her off to the highest bidder if the deal with the Delgado's did not pull through.

" You're heading towards the wrong room " Vincenzo said as he saw Camila walking angrily .

" I don't care where I'm going right now ,I don't care if you are going to drag me by the hair towards Erduardo's office right now ,I just wanna go home please... "she tried as she fought the urge to cry . Everything about this place was frustrating the hell out of her .

" Walking out on the Capobranco will not be of any good to you Camila . In this place women are supposed to be submissive, "Vincenzo said and she stared at him .

" And what about the way the men are supposed to treat the women ? He treated me like sh!t just now and I'm not supposed to walk out on him ! "Camila asked in front .

" Tell Mr Erduardo to look for another bride because first thing tomorrow morning ,I will be going back to Spain ! "She said and Vincenzo fought the urge to laugh .

" This way ."he said and led her towards her room .

" Goodnight Miss Vasquez"he said and she bolted the door in his face . Deep down he felt bad for Camila ,in as much as she lived all her life getting things done her way , Erduardo was just too hard for her princess life .

" She wants to leave for Spain first thing tomorrow morning "Vincenzo said as he walked into Erduardo's office.

" Who ? "Erduardo asked and Vincenzo laughed.

" Seriously ? I thought she left your office in anger ,that's the woman you will be getting married to next week Erduardo "Vincenzo said and he stopped typing in his laptop.

" I controlled the urge to punish her Vincenzo ,once she starts running her mouth she doesn't stop . Camila is such a wayward little girl "he said and Vincenzo laughed.

" Referring to her as a little girl sounds funny ,you are just seven years older "he said and Erduardo loosened his tie in a sexy manner .

" It doesn't change the fact that she does not know how to control her emotions , the woman had the nerves to tell me she will not marry me " Erduardo said and Vincenzo laughed.

" Seriously ? "He asked and Erduardo pinched the bridge of his nose .

" I'll drag her to the altar if necessary because I will not sit back and watch her intrude in Leonardo's life "he said Vincenzo gave a nod.

"You should at least try to be gentle with her "he said and Erduardo leaned on his chair .

" I don't need to do anything ,we are getting married with or without her consent " he said and Vincenzo rubbed his forehead .

This whole estate will be too hot for everyone by the time these two get married .

" What do you mean by I'm not allowed to go home ? "Camila asked, trying to stop the feeling of shock that built up in her body .

" The Capo..."Quinton trailed and she screamed in horror.

" To hell with Capo ! I have a life Quinton . I have shoots to take ,I can't be here in Sicily "she said as her voice shook in hurt.

" I'm afraid the Capo wants you to remain in Sicily until the wedding is over "he said and tears rolled out of her eyes as her lips quivered in hurt .

The nerve of Erduardo Delgado thinking he could lock her like one of his prisoners .

" I'm not marrying him "She said and Quinn opened and closed his mouth like a fish .

" Don't say that "he said and she pushed everything on the table to the floor as they spilled, staining the marble floors .

" Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"she screamed in frustration.

"Don't hurt yourself Camila ,the Capobranco has told you all that there is to this union and as long as you keep to your end of the deal ,I believe there will be no issues "Quinton said and she stared at him in anger as she threw the broken pieces of glass in his direction he dodged it Immediately.

"He wants a mannequin not a WIFE ! "She yelled and Quinton took slow backward steps out of the room .

God forbid that he gets killed by these two .
