DIANA'S POV

Of all the werewolves around... HIM? REALLY NOW? DAMN! FUCK MY LIFE!

That's who you have selected for me? Oh moon goddess, why do you hate me so much?

I stood there stamping my feet like a five-year-old, completely forgetting where I was. In my defense, I was having an argument with the goddess and I was kind of losing there. I could not think of anything else at that moment. Suddenly the goddess started chuckling, yeah right put me on fire and make fun of me. Wait, but why did she sound like a man? I was trying to get figure that out when someone pinched me really hard.

I looked around and saw three sets of eyes looking at me with three different expressions, Just great! Did I zone out in the middle of the school hallway, with three hot boys standing there? Trust me, that was a new one, even for someone like me.

I smiled sheepishly while turning to face Adam.

"Babe, are you okay?"He asked while rubbing my arm where he had pinched me. I swear I heard a low growl, but then whatever.

"I'm fine, Adam. I was just..."I stopped in between, having no idea what to say.

Chase sniggered and that's when it occurred to me, I had heard him chuckling earlier, not the moon goddess, That did make sense, why else would the goddess chuckle or argue with me for that matter?

Just then Ramon cleared his throat and I was foolish enough to look into his eyes. His deep blue eyes had an amused look. I made a fool of myself in front of him, not my idea of a good impression and that arrogant, egotistic, stupid...

"Mate."Amber cut me off there.

"What?" I was confused at her sudden interruption.

"He is our mate, Diana, mate. M.A.T.E."

"I get it okay... you don't have to spell it out to me." I yelled at her.

Amber gave me a bored look before sitting down with her ears perked up.

"Ramon, when did you come? What a surprise bro!"Adam said as he hugged Ramon but that arrogant friend of Adam had a neutral expression on his face.

"Well, I wouldn't say my surprise was good enough." Raising his eyebrows Ramon looked at Adam and then towards me with his intense eyes, those deep blue eyes.

Adam must have replied to him but I had already zoned out and this time, it was my mate who had all of my attention. Two years of training had done him good. If he was not good enough earlier, now he looked absolutely freaking hot. His hair was disheveled as always. His chiseled jawline was making his face more arrogant and rough. My eyes were following a path of their own on his body from his eyes to his luscious lips to his chest, They had just started reaching his forbidden area when Adam pulled my arm.

Following him in confusion, I turned and saw Ramon's heated gaze on me, A hue of red started spreading from my neck to the face. I touched my cheeks to find it burning, Damn it, Ramon was making me blush.

"Of course darling, now imagine him ravishing us."

"Stop it... Just stop it."

Amber clucked her tongue and walked away.

This was a mess.

RAMON'S POV

"What the....YOU?"

To say that I was shocked would be an understatement. How was this even possible? Diana and I have never been able to get along with each other since we were like toddlers. She had a big, big mouth to be honest.

"Wow, I wonder how it would feel if..." Devon started.

"NOT NOW, DEVON!" I cut him off. He started sulking, but that was not the issue here.

So, Diana. We had been fighting all our lives. Sometimes she would start arguing, making nasty comments even before I opened my mouth to say something. I had always tried to hate her, but she was not that bad. It was just due to reasons unknown to both of us, that we never got along well. We had the same set of friends, so being out of each other's way was impossible. Also, she being Sandra's best friend was an integral part of our life. We tried hard to avoid any clash when Sandra was around, believe me, we tried hard to avoid any clash when Sandra was around, and trust me we never completely succeeded in that, and here I am discovering that she is my mate. Like really now? Things were getting complicated.

Suddenly, she started stomping her feet and pouting, blood started flowing vigorously through my veins on seeing that cute pout of hers. My arms were twitching to pull her and kiss her senseless till she... woah.. hold the fuck up... Where did that come from?

She scrunched her eyebrows in between as if in deep thought. Finally, after some time, we finally got her attention, and she smiled. It was cute, everything about her was beautiful. Her shoulder-length hair was silky now, it was always a mess before I left. If only I could touch them. Her hazel eyes, smooth skin, those pink plump lips. Looking at them, I again had the urge to kiss her. Why did I have to notice all these now?

"Since she is your mate now, duh!" Devon said as he chuckled.

"It was more of a personal conversation that I was having with myself, I was NOT speaking to you," I had to inform him that even though I knew he had no idea about it.

Adam started rubbing her arms, It took everything in me not to lash out at him. From what I had seen and heard, I had no doubt that she was his girlfriend! Despite my best efforts to stay calm, a growl escaped my throat and I noticed Diana stiffening in response to that.

It took a few more seconds for Adam to finally notice my presence. Thanks to Diana and her antics, my sudden outburst on seeing her went out of everyone's minds. We were catching up when I saw her checking me out with an intense look. My breath hitched, nothing till today had made me feel so hot. Her citrus scent was playing with my senses, Unable to take my eyes off her, I started walking with the group. She turned to my side and our eyes met. I felt my control breaking when a beautiful red spread across her face.

"Dude, where are you lost?" I snapped out of my thoughts when Chase shouted in my ears.

Tackling him, I again looked in her direction and found myself drowning in her citrus scent.

Stupid. Stupid mate bond.

This was going to be a huge mess.
