Chapter 5

A few hours later, the brothers arrived at a mall. The young man parked his car. He didn't care about the people who were looking at him, especially in his car. It's a Black Lamborghini Huracan stop because this car is so majestic and it's a new car model that just came out so it's only natural that they gather around to take a picture of it.

The young man got out of his car and there people confused him. The young man didn't want to be noisy, so he got angry.

"Can you all just shut up! You're making so much noise!" it's cheap. The people who were around just left forever. They said various negative comments about the young man but he ignored them and just went around the car to pick up his brother.

"Brother, what happened?" the boy asked when his older brother got him out of the car. The young man did not answer his brother's question. He locked his car and pocketed the key. He smiled and held out his hand.

"Let's go?" naya of the young man who was agreed by his brother.

Ashley graciously entered the said mall. He just behaved and just held his brother's hand. The boy didn't wriggle any more and went to the toy's area while he was pulling his older brother who was just smiling as he watched the boy pull.

"Brother, look at this. This is what I'm watching earlier. It's so cute Kuya Khai, I want it." the child was happy and took the said toy. It's a pink pony from the show 'My Little Pony'.

His older brother, Khairon, did not complain or protest, instead he just smiled and let Ashley drag him wherever he wanted to go. The child bought many more and almost all of them were from the show 'My Little Pony' which the child loved to watch.

They went to various stores in the said mall and bought from them for their companions in the mansion.

Brother, how about brother Lex? Don't we have anything to say for him?" Ashley asked her older brother. Khairon frowned at his brother's question.

"Who's Lex?" Khairon asked his brother back and he knelt down so that they were equal.

"Kuya Alex, the one mom saved. The handsome guy at home." explained Khairon's brother. Khairon's eyebrows crossed and went back to his old look because of that. Khairon didn't notice that Ashley was pulling it because he was still thinking about the thing that made him angry because of Alex.

"Brother! Brother!" the young man returned to his vice due to his brother shaking his thigh. He looked at his brother and adjusted himself again.

"What is it Baby Ashley?" he asked his brother. Ashley frowned which made her older brother laugh.

"My brother said let's buy clothes for brother Alex." Khairon looked seriously at Ashley because of her question.

"Tsk. That skinny guy!" Khairon said in a whispering tone.

"Kuya please. Let's buy something for Kuya Alex, he's very kind to me." Ashley begged. The young man did nothing but buy clothes for the young man he hated. He couldn't stand his brother so even though he didn't want to, he was forced to.

The two went to the cashier area and everyone looked at them like that because of the amount of purchases they made. Because all of those are from famous brands.

"Sir is this all?" asked the cashier who was a little surprised that Khairon had already put down everything they were going to buy.

"Yes, all of it. Please hurry." answered the young man and looked sharply at the cashier. The said cashier just swallowed and started to look at the purchases of the brothers and calculate it.

"Let's go?" Khairon asked his brother after arranging everything they bought. Ashley just nodded to her brother and started walking out of the mall. Until now, people are still looking at the brothers because of the amount of shopping they bought. Khairon did nothing but raise his eyebrows and stare intently because he was disgusted with the way they were staring at him. The young man just looked straight as he walked seriously holding his brother's hand.

The two finally arrived at Khairon's car. That's just raising an eyebrow because so many people are surrounding and taking pictures of his car. Khairon just sighed because of that and took his brother's hand to let him into his car.

Khairon heard various compliments and words from people but he ignored them and got into the car. "Tsk." only Khairon said because of that. It turned the car over and drove it without hesitation. People themselves are the ones who lean over to allow the vehicle to pass because of the fear of crashing into or damaging the said expensive vehicle.

Only a few minutes later, the brothers arrived at the said mansion, at its entrance gate. Khairon just sighed because he saw the van that his mom used earlier. He knows that he will be preached to because of this. He just took a deep breath and looked straight ahead.

It drove the car inside the mansion. The guard of the mansion did not hesitate to open the gate because he knew who the owner of the fancy car was.

The two brothers were right in front of the mansion's door. The two went out. Khairon signaled and the maids immediately came to him. He gave the key to the back of the car and let them carry their purchases.

"You two, where did you come from huh?" asked their Mom who had just left the mansion. The young man did not answer but his Sister Shaila grabbed him and pulled him into the mansion..

"Hays" Haze said softly and followed her into the mansion while carrying Ashley. Daniel and his Mom followed with their maids who had their own bags from Khairon and Ashley's purchases.

His sister just kept pulling him. Khairon stopped talking.

"What!" he said angrily and shook Shaila's hand. "I can walk." he answered and fixed his clothes and walked straight.

Shaila didn't do anything but stay standing because she was still shocked by what her brother did. This is not new to him but he is still surprised when his brother cheats and when he looks like that.

"That's your sister." Their mom is disobedient. Khairon just sighed and ignored his mother. The young man is now sitting on the sofa followed by his mother to reprimand him.

"Tsk." the young man spoke softly and pretended not to hear his mother.

"Khairon, don't be like that." The young man was not hurt. "Khai, I'm talking to you." The lady spoke calmly. As expected, the young man did not answer what his mother said.

Khairon was just dumbfounded as he raised his eyebrows and did not listen to what his mother was saying.

"Khairon, I'm talking to you!" The one who was blocked looked at his mother because of her strong words. His mother was calm when he spoke so he was a little surprised. His mother took a deep breath and calmed herself down.

"Where did you and Ashley come from? And why didn't you say goodbye, huh?" asked its mother. He changed the subject because he knew that his son would not pay attention to what he first said.

The young man held his head because of irritation. "Okay, okay, fine! We came from the mall. We bought. We arrived here safe. So nothing's to worry about, we're okay, we're fine." answered the young man. He was about to stand up when his mother spoke again.

"And why didn't you say goodbye to me huh, Khairon?" the young man was just irritated when his mother asked again. In his mind he wanted to go up the stairs and go to his room to stretch out. He calmed himself before answering, there was something he was holding back that he didn't want to say.

"It's because you're busy Mom." Khairon's speech was not strong but it was enough for his mother to hear. Mom didn't ask anymore because she knew he was really busy. When the conversation was like that, he did not speak or ask again because he knew that Khairon's heart had moved away from him. He knows that he also misses his children because he is always busy with work and only now is he with his family again.

"When you go somewhere else, say goodbye. I just want to know, son, where you're going." Khairon's mother's words were persuasive. The young man didn't even answer and immediately went up to his room.

"Hey! Chiron!" Haze called out to the young man but he just continued walking so his older brother could do nothing but watch his brother go up the stairs.

Alex just looked at Ma'am Agatha, he knew that she and Khairon would not get along and that their feelings were far apart. He felt sorry for Ma'am Agatha's condition, she was bent over but still smiling. He can see in the lady's eyes that she is hurt by the treatment of her son, Khairon. Just by the way Khairon said and acted, it was as if he had stabbed his mother several times.

"Mom, are you okay?" Shaila asked noticing her mother. He approached it and gave a hug to which the lady responded.

"I'm fine honey." answered Ma'am Agatha and smiled at her son. He also looked at the people around him and gave them a forced smile.

"Mom, I'll leave you for now, I'll just talk to Khairon." Haze said goodbye to follow his brother and be told. He was about to go up the stairs when his mother stopped him.

"No son. Let your brother go first." Ma'am Agatha answered this. Haze did nothing but sit.

The lady smiled. "Okay! So how was your brother's trip to the mall?" he asked recovering from what happened earlier. He came to where the child was and held him in his arms.

"I'm sorry Mom." Ashley apologized. The tone of his speech was low and it was obvious that he was about to cry. He looked up to his mother. There are tears forming in the corner of his eyes. The child has a tendency to cry, so he will cry quickly.

"Ohh. My baby, it's okay. Mommy's not mad but next time say goodbye okay?" answered Ma'am Agatha and let her son sit. He hugged her and kissed her cheek. "Shh. Mommy loves you." said the lady and wiped her son's tears.

"I love you too Mom." Ashley answered this while still sobbing. The lady just smiled and kissed the boy on his forehead.

"Hold on." Brother Haze said this. Ashley looked at it and her older brother gave her a smile. "Looks like our youngest has a lot of toys." it's still a fun way to change the conversation so that his brother can live.

As expected, the boy settled down and happily approached the things they had bought that were under the table in the middle of their seats.

"Yes! I bought so many toys, Brother." The child was happy and showed his toys one by one.

"My Little Pony again?!" Daniel asked and his sister Shaila just put her arms around him. Daniel looked at his sister and got what she meant. Daniel didn't even try to speak, he knew that when his sister hugged him, she was telling him to stop. Daniel is known as the mischievous ten-year-old boy in the Montero family. In fact, he is always teasing his siblings, especially Ashley, and he opposes almost everything the child does as if he were teasing.

He looked exactly like Khairon in his youth. Almost Khairon is also usually the cause of the crying of his brothers like Daniel. But if measured, the said young man Khairon is more naughty. Khairon is always the one who initiates mischief and is always the reason for their parents to preach to them.
