Chapter 3 SUPER SHY

""Bruno!"

My heart raced,my hands won't stop shaking nervously.

"All I am saying is...she apologised and doesn't deserve such treatment from you, she is one of our best designers,without those designs our company won't be at the top,she brought more to the company than the pretty faces you claim to represent".

"Leave us!"

Mr Hathaway announced.

Everyone of us quickly rushed and grab our files,and left the conference except Bruno.

Who was sitting calmly on his seat while his father was staring at him like a predator.

I looked at him one more time before finally getting out of the conference room. Did he just call his father out about his rudeness towards me?

I hope he doesn't get in trouble because of that. Why would he even do that?

How will I pay him back for standing up for me? I got to my office and dropped on my seat, immediately I heard laughter from the opposite side. I don't need a prophet to tell me that I am the laughing stock.

"I'm so sorry Beauty"Jessie came to me,her eyes were filled with empathy for me.

"It's okay I am used to this".

I replied and smiled at her with wet eyes.

She wasn't convinced, she patted the back of my hand gently,I closed my eyes and exhaled deeply

. "I am fine Jessie please, don't create more scenes please".

I said, holding back tears.

She noticed immediately and sighed.

"If you insist".

She muttered and left my office.

**SOMEWHERE IN THE EAST ASIA**

SHELLEY'S POV

"I have a twin?"

"Yes".

Mrs Joyce, my supposed mother, replied beaming with smiles.

"She's just like me but chubby..she's so cute and gorgeous".

I stared at the image of her on my phone screen, it's like looking directly into the mirror,well a mirror that can make you appear fat.

"Actually you two are very identical and even birthmarks but you are lucky to have your mom's body and she got your dad's fat,isn't that interesting".

"She's also lucky.....she doesn't look so happy in this photo,I wonder how she is coping,where is she now? How do I meet her?"

"Calm down young lady,you're gonna meet her someday,I promise".

"But why..are you telling me this mom?"

"I promised your birth mom I will tell you when you are of age,so I am fulfilling that promise".

She replied softly.

I smiled at her and hugged her tightly.

"Thanks mother you don't know how happy this made me,having those strange feelings and all the twin effects,I thought I was going crazy".

"When you are done admiring your sister,come join us for dinner".

She pecked my forehead and left the room.

I jumped happily, tossing my pillow here and there,taking a closer look at the pic, something doesn't seem right.

I became very worried. The pic was a happy graduation pic. Everyone was laughing except her. She stayed there like an outcast with wet eyes,two students in the background were pointing at her.

"She's with her real parents,so she will be good I guess".

I thought but now I have this feeling that everything isn't good with her.. I mean in this judgemental world, it's obvious she was bullied or body shamed by the photographer,I feel her emotions in this pic.

Another me is out there,and I am going to help her boost her confidence.

"Shelley! Are you coming?"

Mom's voice called.

"Will be there in a minute!"

I yelled out,I smiled back once again at the picture and got up,arranged my bed and walked out of the room,heading to the dining.

**BEAUTY'S POV**

I walked to the company's restaurant, downstairs,since it's lunch break.

After what happened back there in the conference room, I didn't know how to feel,except from feeling useless ofcourse.

"I want potatoes chips and veggies please".

I told the cook. She looked up at me and completely ignored me,not the first time though,it's like everyone here hates me except Jessi of ofcourse,what did I ever do to them?

"What do you want from me,handsome boss?"

The woman snapped suddenly, smiling uncontrollably at me?

Definitely not me. I looked back ,my heart paused at that point,I had to tilt my head back to look up at him.

He stood like a tall rigid wall behind me. Only if that wall is sexier than 99per of human males.

I quickly turned to the cook,my fingers clenched nervously,my heart was racing!

"Noodles and sauce please,"he replied calmly.

It's him, Bruno! Beads of sweat clouded my face ,it suddenly turned red with nervousness.

He was standing right behind me,so hot I could feel the heat melting me!

"Oh ... .you ...you..are here first."

I turned slowly and pointed to my chest.

"You talking to me?"

"Yes..emm...I apologise,tell her what you want..".

His calm voice always sends chills to my body like how can someone be so gentle,kind and handsome,altogether.

Bruno is perfect,a man like him will never notice someone like me,I wish I had a body like JESSI'S.

Maybe I could get a chance.

"Miss?"

His voice cuts in my thoughts.

"Eh?"

I snapped absentmindedly,my eyes widened.

"Tell her what you want".

His ocean blue eyes were sparkling.

How can a human's eyes be so dreamy? I think I am drooling.

"I want you...I mean.. I...mean..pie, chicken pie".

I chuckled nervously,turned away from her,then slapped myself on the cheek hard. get it together bitch!

The cook was glaring at me.

I turned back to him and smiled awkwardly.

Bruno stood there wearing a blank expression,he must've thought. What a weirdo.
