"Battle?", I ask. I hadn't expected they'd have a battle. I thought it petty and Lizzy read my expression and went on to explain that they had killed multiple members of their pack first and would go for the rest of them-including me-, to assert dominance over this side of the woods.

"But why do they want dominance so much? Sharing doesn't exist?", I ask

"Between werewolves, no", Jay replies. I hadn't expected that answer." Plus, we're outnumbered. We need tactics on our side".I feel Jay's hand on my shoulder like he had considered me as someone who could get them out of this mess.

"All these places circled are areas where a member of their pack usually passes by alone", Lizzy gestures to the map. She had hardly said anything all this while. "About 19 of them so we can be even", Spence says and rolls up the map."You can join us when you're ready"

I don't even have a choice to refuse. As far as my life was at stake, I had to be a part of this.

"But after we kill all of them. I leave", I say when I notice the cheerful looks on their faces. Spence holds out a hand."Deal", he says but he has a weird expression on his face.
