~~XAVIER'S POV ~~

" Wow she's really beautiful, what a gem " I admired the beauty that just came on stage.

Her hair was wavy covering her upper body a bit and...

" She's your sister-in-law," Zamiel said with a straight face, breaking my thoughts.

I turned to check if he was speaking the truth or joking which he never does

" Zamiel, are you joking? " I asked but he didn't answer instead he kept his poker face on and his eyes, shawn of something evil,

Although I'm the youngest among the three of us it feels as if I'm the only sensible one here as both my elder brothers are cruel.

Zamiel on the other hand wasn't cruel, instead he is the epitome of evil

As for what I overheard from both their conversations, he got married to one of the ken twins Carlene Ken I think, and knowing Zamiel very well he doesn't do things without a reason

I look up to the stage to find her heading backstage

I took one more look at Zamiel who seemed to be enjoying the show and Asher who didn't seem to care less

So I excused myself and left to meet my sister in law

when I arrived she was talking to a lady while massaging her feet

" Hello ladies," I said with a smile as I walked toward them

" hey handsome " the other lady smiled back but my sister-in-law just ignored

" Hmm, can you please excuse us?" I said to the lady and she nodded us with a smile

" Hello Carlene," I said and she turned to face me

" Excuse me but who are you ? "

" Xavier Dean, Zamiel's younger brother" I introduced

" Ohh am Carmela, not Carlene," she said with a half smile which confused me

" But I thought ... "

" Yes, he was supposed to marry my sister but she . . . "

" She ran away ? " I completed more of a question actually as no one would want to marry a monster like my brother

" No she didn't, she was scared to marry him " I didn't expect less

" And what about you aren't you scared " I eyed her from top to bottom

" Can you please excuse me? I want to change. " She changed the topic without giving me an answer.

Seems brother finally met his match

I quietly excused her and waited for her outside but she suddenly came out running as if her house was on fire

she was holding her sandals in one hand while answering a phone call in the other

" Car. . . "

" Don't even call her name " Asher said stepping out of the shadows

" What the fucking is happening?" I asked but he seemed less bothered about my question

" You're still young Xavier but you surely know that zamiel doesn't like people playing with his things," he said and left

" What on earth did Carmela do to deserve such treatment from both my brothers? And why am I like the black sheep in this family? " I questioned no one in particular

~~CARMELA'S POV~~

I asked Xavier to excuse me so I could change. I didn't know Zamiel had brothers

I hadn't even pulled up the zip of my gown when my phone began ringing. I looked at it to find an unknown caller

" Hello " I picked it up

" You have five minutes to come meet me at the car park unless you can find your way back to the hotel " Zamiel said and ended the call

I gathered all my things and ran towards the car park not caring what people thought of me.

All I knew was I needed to get to the car park

I checked the time and I only had two minutes more but I couldn't find the fucking car. I was running out of breath and I quickly brought out my inhaler taking my standard three pumps

I went to where the car was previously parked but it wasn't their

my phone rang and it was a call from Zamiel

" Seems you don't want to go home" He said in a cold voice and I felt shivers run down my spine even though he wasn't standing in front of me

" No I'm at the car park but I can't find you " I said panting

" I asked you to be here at exactly five minutes not five minutes and two seconds

feel free to find your way back to the hotel and make sure you arrive in the next thirty minutes" He said and hung up on me.

Is this man mad?

I was here at exactly the time he asked me what is two seconds ?

standing here wasn't going to help so I put on my sandals and started my journey. According to my google map, my journey was just three and a half kilometers

' lord if you can hear me can you please punish Zamiel ten folds for this ' I prayed within.

I didn't have any cash on me. If I did I would have taken a taxi but even if I had there was no taxi around.

why does Zamiel have to be this heartless I can't wait for the day this contract is going to comes to an end

' prepare yourself Zamiel Dean the day this contract is going to come to an end I'm going to give you four tight slaps for all my suffering '

I took another look at my phone and I already made it through two kilometers and I only had ten minutes left.

my legs were seriously aching and I felt like stopping for a minute but I couldn't as every second is precious

I took off my sandals and continued on bear foot

The road was creepy and quiet which made me quicken my pace. There was suddenly a heavy breeze and the sound of thunder re-vibrated

It suddenly started raining and I became pissed off

" Mother nature why me? " I screamed but I did not stop in my tracks, I began sneezing and when I thought things couldn't get any worse until I caught a cold.

I checked the time and it was already past the thirty minutes Zamiel gave me and I wasn't near the so called hotel

I wasn't going to kill myself or push myself beyond my limit

I'm just going to let what is going to happen, happen.

After all he wouldn't dare harm him, because mum would kill him if she finds out

And speaking about Mum I wonder how she would react if she finds out what actually happened on the day of the wedding.

I finally arrived at the hotel after eight more minutes and my hands were aching from knocking on the door for the past two minutes

It felt as if I was going to die as I couldn't stop shivering due to the cold

" Excuse me ma are you Carmela ? " A lady approached me she looked like one of the staff from I could tell from her dressing

" Y .. Yes "

" Mr. Dean said not to disturb him and you should wait for him at the reception " she informed and I made my way back to the reception not even sparing her a glance

Well if I was still under the probability that I was going to die then it's all confirmed because I'm surely going to die

I took my sit quietly waiting for my spirit to leave me
