Chapter 6 Blood Thirsty

However Nathan continued to ignore the pain in his stomach "Dang it I ate food not quite long ago " He stated grabbing his stomach as he sluggishly walked into the field

" What's with this kid "

" He's surely no match for Blake "

" Look at his messy hair "

" Why is he grabbing his stomach " The crowd whispered to each other and due to Nathan's heightened senses he could hear everything

Anyways , he was in pain and he didn't care all he wanted was food right now

***Ring***

The coach blew his whistle hard and Blake shot from his post and started to head to the line.

The two defenders tried to stop him but he easily dodged them due to his great reflexes

Nathan was feeling to feel something inside his body trying to crawl out ,

However Blake started to head towards him Nathan under the great pain started to run towards Blake

Blake was confident in his strength but was later surprised as Nathan lifted him up and slammed him to the ground.

Nathan was currently pinning Blake and something was drawing him to Blake's neck as he could smell his blood rushing through his veins as he continued to stare he could feel something within his teeth.

Blake was terrified as he could see Nathan staring at him like a snack and it sent shivers to his spine

" What's with this kid ....why is he looking at me like that " he wondered

All the crowd were stunned as what just transpired they saw a lanky boy lift up Blake like a feather and slam him .

This greatly shocked the coach as no defender in his team could catch Blake

***Ring***

Finally it was closing time and before the coach could reach him Nathan had ran off

" He's special " The coach said smiling

***In the hall***

Nathan was running home he didn't know what was happening to him he could smell everyone's blood and it was smelling nice as he continued to run he bumped into Amy

" Hey Nathan you didn't tell me you knew how to play rugby " Amy said

Nathan was surprised as Amy blood scented differently and wasn't that nice to smell

" Hmmm I have to go now we'll talk later " Nathan said running off

" He scents differently " Amy blurted out

***In Nathan's house ***

Nathan reached his home in 5 minutes and a greater scent hit him and he noticed it was towards to fridge he started to walk to the fridge as he opened it he saw a raw meat

He suddenly grabbed it and he started to squeeze it and blood started to rush into his mouth . He wasn't sure of what he was doing but the blood tasted better than any food he had eaten

After he finished squeezing the meat he looked at the mirror

" I'm a monster " He blurted out

***The next day***

Today was a bad day for Nathan as the scenes of him gulping down blood continued to play out in his head ...

When he reached school he walked to his locker and someone blocked him when Nathan looked up he saw one of the boys that followed Blake around he continued to ignore the boy

" Hey kid Blake said I should tell you to quit the club " He noticed that Nathan was completely ignoring him " Hey I'm talking to you " he said as he grabbed Nathan's shoulder firmly

And Nathan lost it he grabbed the boy and tossed him over his shoulder slamming him to the ground
