Chapter 5 Roar without explanation

Erick follows his friend’s gaze and comes across a girl who is very thin, so much so that it gives the impression that if someone hugs her tightly she will break in half, her golden hair is dull and lifeless, her green eyes are under her eyes and under her eyes, she was small, and the clothes didn’t help, it looked like three of her could fit in the old dress, but even so Erick didn’t quite know why she was beautiful, fragile and beautiful, he pulls himself together and whispers to his friend:

“Whatever happened to her, you better fix that face or you’ll scare the girl”

Joshua nods and plasters a smile on his face as he runs towards his sister, who throws her thin arms around his neck, smiling so beautifully, Erick had the impression it lit up the station.

Erick shakes his head slightly and thinks, “What the fuck am I doing, she’s nothing but a weakling, equal to or worse than her mate, and Joshua would kill him if he got near her sister.”

“She’s bleeding”, says Kairon annoyed and he senses that Tron is also agitated.

Joshua holds his sister tight in his arms and raises his eyebrows when she lets out a moan.

“What is it?” he asks

“Nothing is sore from the trip” replies Eduarda

“What happened to you while I was away? Did you become a member of some crazy regime?” says Joshua, stroking his sister’s cheek.

“More or less that”, says Eduarda with a shy smile.

Joshua moves away from Eduarda to hug his uncle, and that’s when she feels as if her stomach is full of butterflies, and her eyes see him for the first time.

He was tall, well-built, with a face so handsome it looked as if it had been sculpted down to the last detail, eyes as black as a stormy night, framed by long lashes and thick eyebrows, and black hair that rebelliously insisted on falling over his face. Forehead, when their eyes connected, she felt a chill run up her spine, and looked away quickly.

And for some reason the fact that she was apparently afraid of him made Erick angry.

Looking at her clothes he says to Joshua on the mindlink:

“You should take care of her, I don’t know, take her to buy clothes in her size, wash her hair, that woman stuff”

“What?” asks Joshua not understanding where Erick was getting at.

“If you let her appear there like that, she will become the first target to be eliminated”, explains Erick

Understanding what Erick wanted to say, Joshua tells his uncle to take the rest of the chosen ones to the hotel, as he would take Eduarda to buy some things.

The uncle, understanding the situation, readily agreed, but Gaby, who is not willing to let Eduarda out of her sight, says:

“I need some things, can I go too?”, Erick and Joshua notice the hopeful look that Eduarda gives Gaby, Joshua analyzes the boy with new interest, while Erick feels like pulling those ridiculous curls out of him.

“I’d like to go too”, says Betany not wanting to be left behind.

“Well then, Trevan and I are going to the hotel” says Pedro with a look that said good luck to Joshua and asks “Is Prince Erick coming with na agent?”

Erick would really like to get away from the peroxide Barbie Girl, but Tron was urging him to come along.

Eduarda shudders just discovering that the most handsome man she has ever seen in her life was Prince Monster.

Erick notices her reaction and once again feels the irritation that she is afraid of him.

“I’m going to the shopping group,” he replies, much to Betany’s delight, who doesn’t hide her enthusiasm.

“Man, I’m going to take Eduarda to a salon, I want to give my sister a princess day, you’re really going to want to go” says Joshua to Gaby who nods.

“As if that would help,” mutters Trevan heading toward the car, but before Joshua can do anything a rock hits Trevan’s head with full force.

Everyone looks around to see where it came from, but Joshua is sure it was Erick, as he had perfect aim.

They all head towards a shopping center not far away, Joshua arm in arm with his sister, Gaby on her other side, and Erick is left to stand next to the annoying blonde.

They stopped at a salon, Eduarda is a little reluctant, but gives in to her brother’s pleas.

Betany is acting like she’s the queen herself and trying to draw attention to herself.

Eduarda is taken away by a polite and kind attendant, after promising Joshua that she will receive the full treatment.

The three men sit in a waiting room, which is a very funny sight.

Joshua is the first to speak:

“Are you close with my sister?” he asks Gaby

“She doesn’t let anyone get too close, but I like to think that I am”, replies Gaby

Erick is increasingly irritated by Gaby’s golden locks.

“Are you by any chance her mate?” Joshua asks straight as usual, and both he and Gaby are startled by the growl that comes from Erick

“What is it?” asks Joshua in alarm.

“Sorry, the boys are a little irritated today”, replies Erick, referring to his beasts.

Joshua nods and turns to Gaby waiting for na answer.

“It would be na honor, but I don’t think she’s ready to find her mate yet,” says Gaby.

“What the hell is that answer?”, asks Erick even more irritated

“That’s right,” Joshua agrees.

With na enigmatic smile for Erick, Gaby replies:

“I meant that if she wants me like this, she will have it”

“Only over her partner’s corpse I think”, says Erick and turns his attention to the street.

Na hour later Betany is back, saying that as she was beautiful she didn’t have much to do, to which the three men roll their eyes.

Half na hour later Eduarda appears, shy and insecure, hair that used to be opaque and lifeless, now shone in a vivid gold, and her face also now seemed lighter, with lighter circles under her eyes.

“Okay,” Joshua says after paying for his sister’s procedure, “let’s get to the clothes now.”

The attendant clears her throat and says to Betany:

“Sorry ma’am, payment for your procedures has not yet been made”

Betany disappointed takes a card and says:

“Oh sure, pass that card.”
