Chapter 7 Fake Her Death

Days soon turned to weeks, Whitney could only sit on a seat on her balcony watching the bird sing and whooshing of the wind while waiting for Aiden.

Meanwhile, Aiden had no thoughts of speaking to Whitney just like he promised her.

However, he was in the villa the whole time and hadn’t spoken to Whitney.

This made Whitney’s mind run wild that she couldn’t sleep well at night thinking that Aiden would kill her in her sleep, after waiting for the past two weeks for Aiden she began plotting her escape as she had more time to set a plan that would free her from staying with the man that caused her parents to die and also wants her dead.

Whitney could only think of one thing, “oh goddess forgive me” she uttered in the early hours of a Monday morning and sneaked towards the lake in the back of the villa.

She gazed sternly into the lake, ‘This is the only way to save us, I’ll have to die to be able to live, in his mind I’ve to die. This is the best death so far.’ she took in a deep breath as she mumbled to herself.

“splash!” Whitney jumped into the water and allowed herself to sink under the lake before she began swimming out of the villa.

The gardener who witnessed this scene was alarmed that he screamed for help and mind-link Aiden about the situation.

He could’ve dived in but he couldn’t swim and he never expected that Whitney would jump into the lake, he would probably dissuade her and stall time till the lycan king arrive.

Meanwhile, Aiden with his super lycan speed just like the vamps arrived at the lake quickly and dive into the water, Whitney being a good swimmer from when she was a child had already swum further away.

Even after searching for Whitney for an hour, Aiden was not able to find her.

Meanwhile, Whitney reached the shore which was in the middle of the woods which was a dangerous area for a wolfless she-wolf like her.

With her soaked clothes hugging her body, she lay on the bank of the lake gasping for air and quivering with cold chills on her body.

“It’s great that I can save you my only family, this a blessing from the goddess knowing that I’m a lonely woman that is not wanted by anyone. Baby, you’re going to keep mummy company when you come out” She caressed her body with a smile.

Just as Whitney finished taking a rest, she stood up to leave and gasped, it was like the goddess was helping her as she found a deaf body that was unrecognizable, this was so irritating that she puked several times.

However, she had to proceed with this or her plan would be ruined.

She took off her clothes and helped the dead woman to put them on, ‘it looks like she was eaten by a wild animal’ she uttered and pushed the body into the lake after exchanging her clothes and jewelry with the dead faceless woman.

It took her two days to leave the woods, weak and sick she staggered her way out of the woods after hiding her scent with some shrubs and wild roses in the thick forest.

Back at the Island which was Aiden’s private property, the faceless woman's dead body was found more quickly than expected, seeing that she was wearing the same outfit as Whitney, they believed that she was the dead woman washed offshore by the water.

Aiden Lewis was furious and regretted not speaking with her and assuring her that everything is fine.

He strode to the room Whitney used to stay and could only think of how she had lived here for a month.

He felt bad for failing his benefactor, if he had paid a little attention to her this wouldn't have happened.

Lost in thoughts, Aiden’s eyes caught sight of a white paper on the table and grabbed it.

“I’m joining my parents, you don’t have to bother about me” This was Whitney’s last word to Aiden, he crumpled the paper and angrily tightened his grip on it.

“She had planned this all along” Aiden muttered, feeling devastated for not being able to stop Whitney’s plan.

Many months after escaping from the villa, Whitney was able to secure a job in a bakery shop where she earned lots of money and made preparations to travel to Spain.

That is the safest place for her child, staying away from the father's territory would keep her and the baby in her belly alive.

After she had escaped, an old unmarried woman took Whitney to her home she was also the owner of the bakery shop and has always treated Whitney like family.

Hearing the story of Whitney and also knowing the reputation of Aiden Lewis, she supported Whitney’s migration to Spain where she delivered not one but two sons that looked just like their father with contraction.

Whitney stayed in a coma for a month as her body was weak, she lost consciousness while delivering her babies and could only see them after a month when she had regained consciousness.

Her life in the Pearl pack has affected her negatively which caused so many complications when she was giving birth to her boys.

She’d smiled when she saw her sons but her face turned pale when she saw their facial features.

Just at a glance, you could tell who their father is, however, Whitney who wanted nothing to do with the lycan king decided to live among humans and work as a fashion designer since she was homeschooled and brilliant.

She was able to get a degree in computer science and programming, and a certificate in fashion and design from Princeton University.

This broadens her horizon as she becomes a known top fashion designer, needed by many companies and a top hacker, and also a secret agent that works with the government.

She was precisely known as Tracy, the idol of both men and women.

Although she was not a public figure she was popular, however, none of her photos were seen online or in magazines as she led a private life away from the world and the father to her kids.

Four years later Whitney joined a popular fashion design company as a designer, she excelled in her field and had become a young successful designer amongst her peers

Whitney Cole has to join the biggest fashion competition all over the world with top designers and as a representative of Moschino Fashion Trend Enterprise, this decision was made by the director as he had taken Whitney as the star of their company.

To go back to the States as the competition was slated in two weeks, Whitney had to disguise her sons by getting them brown contact lenses, dyeing their hair, and increasing their lashes which changes their looks.

“Perfect!” She mumbled after gazing at her sons, Asher and Ashley, she had practicing this face disguise for days, and today she got it so well that she couldn’t even recognize her sons.

This puts her mind at ease, she doesn’t have to worry about taking the boys outside.

“Mum, why are you changing our look? People love our looks, are you not happy about it?” Ashley abruptly asked with his bright eyes.

“Mummy is doing this for your good, you will know that in the future.

Speak less and don’t talk to strangers” Whitney who was more mature after so many years asserted and caressed their hair.

Whitney, who had always worn a blue contact lens to cover her fiery red eyes, removed it and wore a grey one.

This gave her a more feminine look, with her petite chest and slender curvy waist, she was a perfect goddess and no one would believe that she had two sons as she had no pregnancy fat.

After packing up last night, they left immediately after the driver from Moschino arrives, he drove them to the airport where they boarded a flight back to the United States, where all her life’s misery started.

Now, she was returning stronger, more powerful, and smart, and as a mother with a new life that would take on her enemies if they tried to play smart or harm her.
