Chapter 2 Long Route Awaits

Echoes of " We are one! we are not divided!! we are one big family!!!" reverberated round the coven as the winter breeze hits hard on the surface of the rusty west wing. James and Jenny could hear the voices while driving through the road to the city gate of st. Mary. "that could be their anthem", James suggested, thinking that the voices were renowned voices of recognized orphans at the St. Mary's orphanage. Soon, the tricky road became deadly as the wind tilted towards their direction. Jenny exclaimed, quite mysterious.

They parked their Wagon truck and awaited for the clearing of the dust to be able to see clearly before embarking on the few miles drive to the main gate of St. Mary. While they await, they heard a bang on the left back door of the truck and quickly alerted to see what could have hit so hard, to their dismay, the breeze must have brought a dead ox to the car but the ox has blood all over it. What seemed like a lovers drive has turned to quick panic. Stuck inbetween thoughts and stuck in the middle of the west wing and St Mary's Orphanage capital, Jenny could barely comprehend what was happening as evening suddenly started turning into night and the light above started fading to darkness. James who had heard about figures always lurking around the parameter took his keys that was slanting and started the car, he tried driving slowly to leave the area but he seem to be going round in circles. Soon, a voice echoed loud from the back of their car screaming "blood", they quickly turned back and could not see anyone, at this time, Jenny busted out crying. For one who believed in the tradition of after life, she started calling upon Mary the mother of Jesus to help them. James on the other hand was using an old rusty compass to navigate their way out. At this point, he was willing to drive home but the distance between their stand point and home is farther than the distance between their stand point and the orphanage. Every sound from the breeze sounded horrific, they could hear sounds like an earthquake, a mighty rushing wind accompanied by death itself, they could hear sound of river and the chilling nature of cold breeze, all of these contributed to their anxiety, while death awaits at the other corner. James took his registered pistol and started shooting towards all direction until the twelve bullets got finished. Then they heard another baby scream with a man voice shouting " I'm coming for you!!!!!'.

James took quickly winded up and decided to drive straight, he made up his mind to not die like a coward. "it's best I die by accident than dying by the hands of these demons". He drove as fast as he could remember to the point of no return, or so he thought. He ended up hitting across trees and passed through the wind storm, headed towards the gate.
