Chapter 4 I am back

************10 years later.

Grandpa Lane had made Harry the CEO of Lane Empire which is

the number one company in the world.

Harry has grown up to be a handsome and loving man and a

very strong business tycoon always competing with Arnold Mackenzie son of

Marus.

It was a week before the old grandpa 90 birthday and all CEO

of small and big companies where invited and it was announced that the Lane

grand daughter will attend the birthday.

Mr Marus Mackenzie was running for senator so he needed the

Lane connection and always pushes his daughter Kathy Mackenzie towards Harry

but Harry was not interested in a murderers daughter and to top it all Kathy

and Arnold where a complete opposite of their father.

The whole country was preparing for grandpa Lane birthday,

everyone news channel competed to be the one filming the party...

All business people in the country saw it as an opportunity

to become closer to the Lane family so all young heiress of rich families are

all waiting for the party because of Harry Lane the number one bachelor in the

country, second by Arnold Mackenzie.

It was a white party so the dressing code is white and

nothing else and as the news spread about grandpa Lane grand daughter attending

the party all young CEO are anticipating for that , all young girls are already

looking for means to become friends with her because it was known that she is

the soul and heart of the Lane family, even the pictures on social media proves

how close she is with her brother Harry.

As expected the day finally arrived, the party starts in the

evening so the whole country still had time to prepare.

In the Mackenzie mansion*

" Arnold I hope you heard about the Lane grand daughter

coming to the party so you know what to do" Marus said to his son when

they where all having breakfast.

" Dad I don't get you...just last month you wanted him

to make Camille Yang fall in love with him and he did now you want him to leave

her and move to the Lane grand daughter" Kathy, Marus youngest daughter

asked angrily.

" Shut up Kathy....are you even a woman? I am trying to

fix your future that's why I had sent you to Harry Lane but you where nit even

able to make him look your way" Marus replied angrily.

He keeps trying every way possible for his family to be

attached to the Lane family but this daughter of his was unable to make Harry

like her.

" Dad your doing all this for your business and not for

my happiness" she said before leaving the table and going upstairs.

" Dad can you stop this your obsession with the Lane

family already" Arnold said before leaving as well.

" Stupid children , they are just like their mom

putting emotions in business" he cursed out loud.

It was evening and the guests started arriving, the place

was decorated as a premier..so many guards guarding the entrance and a red

carpet from the gate to the stairs with reporters surrounding the area and

taken interviews from different celebrities that come forward.

The parking lot was filled with different kind of cars

ranging from Lamborghini to different designs .

Everyone was well dressed with diamonds and gold trying to

showcase their wealth.

Just then Camille Yang heiress of the Yang empire and

currently classified as the top beautiful girl in the entertainment news .

She walked majestically and elegantly on the red carpet

while posing for pictures, just then a reporter asked her a question that catches

her attention.

" Miss Yang is it true that your in a relationship with

Me Mackenzie?"

Camille smiled before replying.

" Sure but we are just getting to know each other

currently" she said before walking in with her strapless designer white

gown with so many diamond stones attached to it.

She screamed of wealth just from her looks .

And of course according to the entertainment news Kathy

Mackenzie was rank second in the top notch beauty.

Everyone followed the dressing code which is white so the

ball room was filled with business people dressed all in white.

Grandpa Lane arrived at the ceremony with Harry and Carrie ,

everyone was expecting them to come with the Lane grand daughter but she was

not there but no one had the guts to ask about her.

As the party began everyone tried approaching harry to discuss

about their business and Arnold hated that.

Harry was his opponent in the business world and was even

rank the number one bachelor and he was always compared to him.

The dance floor was opened for everyone and Harry saw Kathy

approaching him so he quickly asked his mom to the dance floor.

Everyone was having some much fun that they had forgotten

about the Lane grand daughter.

Just then the lights went off but the music kept playing and

everyone kept wondering what happened.

Just then the lights above the staircase was switched on

attracting everyone attention towards the stairs.

Everyone gasped in shock, men where drooling all cameras

where on , every reporter wanted to have a picture.

Alice stood upstairs with a read long evening gown , with

her thighs being exposed , she had such a perfect body not too skinny and her

shiny black ebony hair and had a strong aura surrounding her.

Its like everything was played in a slow motion she stood

upstairs and her eyes gazed down she first stared at Kathy ,then Arnold and

finally Marus , she smiled so sweetly that many people could confront her smile

as joy but only her knew the meaning of that smile .

Harry went upstairs put his hands around her waist before

leading her downstairs.

He could feel her body stiffen while starring at Marus.

" Alice are you ok?" He whispered into her ears

and she then shifted her gaze to harry.

" Brother am fine, I just feel happy coming back"

she said and harry directed her to grandpa Lane she hugged him before wishing

him a happy birthday and then hugged Claire tightly.

" Hello mother" she said while smiles and grandpa

Lane took the mic before announcing .

" As you all heard about my grand daughter arrival

today , here she is my beautiful Alice and I hope everyone of you will make her

feel welcome as she spent almost all her life abroad" he said and then

everyone regained their senses .

The ladies smiled at her but of course Alice could tell

which of those smiles are fake.

Arnold could not take his eyes of her.

Grandpa Lane gave the mic to Alice , she took it held it

tightly, starred at her targets before saying.

" Am Alice Lane and am BACK" she declared and some

people kind of felt scared from her tone.
