Chapter 7 Meeting Again

"No, I hate her! Are we clear?" Danny snarled.

In the presence of an outsider, Saul was unhappy with the growl of his son, "Behave, grow up! It's just dating, look at you now. I thought it was a good decision to send you abroad to study. Looks like you haven't changed a bit after three years!"

Tired of the conversation, Danny snapped, "Alice! Let's go!"

"Stop right there! I haven't finished talking!" Saul was also enraged.

"Saul, save Danny some face in the presence of an outsider." The silent Caper stepped in.

"Sorry for the spectacle, Caper."

"Saul, don't mind it, we are family." Caper said nicely.

"I just remember my unfinished business and should go now. Saul, talk with Danny. I'll give Miss Sharon a ride."

He walked to his cousin and earnestly advised "Danny, talk with your father nicely. You won't fix the problem by asking a classmate to fake your girlfriend, right?"

Danny respected his cousin and nodded, "Take care, Caper."

"Mm, I'll see myself out."

"Let's go." Caper said without looking at Alice.

The hand that gripped Alice finally let go, and she walked away without looking back.

Danny noticed something abnormal in her behavior. Somehow, he felt that Caper and Alice knew each other.

On the way back, Caper didn't converse a word with Alice.

And she had been on pins and needles.

When the Maybach entered the community of her apartment, she tensed up.

By sheer coincidence, she saw her roommate hurrying past. There seemed to be an emergency.

Alice relaxed a little. At least, Freya would not bump into the scene and gossip about the man.

Alice was scared. Did he plan to follow her into her apartment?

At the sight of his hand, she freaked out and pushed the door with all her might. However, the man singlehandedly gave a pull, and she fell on the floor.

Sitting on the floor, Alice was too frightened to utter any sound. The marbly man entered the living room and looked around with his terrifying dark eyes.

"What... what do you want?" Alice hurriedly got up, rushed into the kitchen, picked up a fruit knife, and pointed it at Caper.
