I'm in my room laying on my bed resting after working tiredly in the kitchen

All series of thought are coming to my brain but mainly about Monica.

What if I'm able to get her into liking me, l really need to do something to get her more closer.

It's seems I am attracted to her.

I thinks about all this for an hour before Byran call pop up on my phone.

"Hey, what's up its quite late?"

"Yes, just wanna know the time you are closing tomorrow" he said and I could hear the loud music from the background.

"You are at a club right?"

"No, keep this from Michael, actually I'm at a casino" he said and I can sense he must be smiling.

Ohh, such a idiot, all he knows is fun.

"I will be closing early then"

"Okay brother" he replied and end the call before I could ask the reason why, I shrugged it off and I sleep.

**The next day**

We all sit at the dinning eating quietly, it is mandatory that the three of us eat breakfast together.

Who knows what Dad is thinking to make it compulsory, not that it brings love between us.

"Monica, you have to be your best self tonight, not only for the party but Mr Park and his son will also be there" Dad broke the silence, l keep eating not minding what he just said,

Like I care.

"I will take that as yes" he said making me want to choke on my food, but I try to remain quiet.

Because I don't want any obstacle in the way of my plans at today party.

Really wishing Byran will bring David.

David POV

After visiting my sister at the hospital, as I was washing the dishes because Ayo left early due to personal issue, Byran showed up.

"Brother, I need your help please" he said with a pout constantly blinking his eyes lid.

"Oh no, today is so hectic am sorry I can't make time" I replied and continue washing the dishes.

"You can, no you will please, it gonna be fun, it's Monica night get-together" he said holding me by my arm whispering in my ear " there going to be a lot of pussy to fuck.

I know he just want to make me pay for all bills, but my heart leap at the name Monica.

" Okay, but you have to follow my rules - one, no causing of trouble, two, I have to change first" I said counting my finger as I mentioned the rules.

"Okay, deal let's go" he shouted throwing a punch in the air.

I grinned widely as I walked into the hallway that leads to the pool where we are having the party.

Well, to me the yearly party is all about Dad gaining more public interest for his company, though I do catch fun but I don't really like Dad using me for his interest.

I greet the people I met at the hallway as I walked down to the pool side, where I sighed Dan Tae; Mr Park son.

If it's before I would have run to meet him, but I keep a straight face and went to greet his dad, Mr Park Seok Joon my dad longtime business partner.

"Good evening Mr Park"

"Oh, evening Monica you are such a beauty, you look more charming tonight" he said sweetly as he always do since I'm still little.

"Ah, Mr Park you always flattered me, enjoy your night as the show will soon start" l said trying to walk past Dan Tae, who was beaming with smile.

But he was quick to grabbed my arm.

"Monica, why are you being like this, it been a long time, let put the past behind, you know your dad won't want enimity between us" he whisper in my ear as he conclude his last part.

"Hello, are you threatening me right now" I said while my facial expression is almost forming anger.

"Hey, not at all, just wanna be in good term with a long time friend" he said grinning.

I was about to reply him, then we heard a loud blaring music, seems they have started l thought.

"Let both do this for peace" l said and walk away after removing Dan Tae hand from my arm.

Bryan POV

I'm starting to run out of patience since David has been dressing.

"Ha a man for goodness sake", I mumble, as I was ruminating he opened the door of his room.

"Ohh, brother, is today your wedding day, you're looking all hot".

He is even looking more handsome than before, he is dressed in a black suit and a white inner top with a well polished shoe, even without anyone telling me l know they are all brand dress.

"Are you done striping me naked with your stare" he said.

"What, just thank God I'm not a gay" l said smiling

"What will you do if you're one?" he asked putting on his wrist watch.

"You're asking me, let's go we are late already" I said pushing him out of the room.

David POV 💪

As we got out of my apartment, I see that Byran have already ordered a cab for us.

We get in and within few minutes we arrive at a big mansion, everything about it speaks about wealth.

Byran showed the guards at the front gate the invitation card and we were lead in.

Gosh, the interior get me drooling, just as I'm looking around I spotted Monica walking up to the stage.

She is just so elegant, she's dressed in a armless red glinting gown.

"Such a great cleavages" l heard Byran mumbling to himself.

"I have to go for some girls" he said walking up to some girls seated by the pool side.

Geez, this guy is gonna dump me all alone.

**1 hour later**

After Byran went with the girls he met earlier, I'm left alone.

I sat on a couch nearby to the stage, some girls are offering me drinks and I politely turned them down but their is this particular girl that we really get along with each other, while we were talking about the party, drinks and other stuffs.

Monica approach us and the girl, Jenny and Monica hugged each other, I'm quite surprised.

"Monica, are you not busy?" she said winking to Monica.

As I'm about to excuse them, I heard Monica voice.

"David, you are here" she said not looking surprised as I thought she would be.

"Yes, it's such a nice party" l said and Jenny turned to us with confused expression.

"You guys know each other?"

"Yes quite well" Monica speak up before I could find the right word.

Then all of a sudden, the light went off, and before five seconds it come back sparkling more colors.

Some people including Jenny and Monica shouted joyfully.

They both see I'm perplexed

"Actually, some naughty things are going to happen now, that's what the light is for" Monica explained.

"Ohh that's what it's all about" I said sipping out of the drink in my hand.

"I have to go, gonna take part" Jenny said and wave a bye to me.

After Jenny left, I sit with David I keep staring at him as he sipped from his drink.

I quickly looked down when he caught me staring at him.

"It seems you don't drink hard wines?"

"Yes, but I can manage just a little bit" he said and I noticed his eyes is fixed on the girls wearing bikini at the other side of the pool.

"David, it seems we haven't know anything about each other" I said trying to start a conversation with him.

"Well, what is not known to everyone about you" he said staring right in my eyes.

"There are some, it's only for the trusted ones" I said and immediately he grabbed my hand.

"Monica I really like you, will you be my girlfriend" he said those words looking intensely into my eyes.
