David POV 💪

Last night was one of a kind, I woke up finding myself cuddling the pillow

"Eish, I am late for work" I said rushing out of the bed.

I hurried my way to the bathroom, just as the water ran through my body, I heard my phone ringing.

"Ohh, who could that be, I walked out of the bathroom and picked the call which turns out to be Michael, my best friend.

"Good morning Michael, I muttered as I mobbed the towel round my body.

"Hey, we need you here badly, thing are hectic in the kitchen", he hurried his words.

"I would be there soon", I replied and end the call.

I searched for what to wear today not that I don't have clothes but I wished to look different today.

"What should I wear today" I sing as I danced to where my wardrobe is.

Finally after scattering all cloth, l opted for a blue linen shirt and a white short pearing with the brand sneakers Jordan, looking like a guy going on a beach date.

After arriving at the restaurant, many people are swarmed in as usual, some waiting patiently for their food while some are busy eating.

I hurried into the kitchen, where I met Ayo and Byran as the chefs.

"I'm sorry for being late guys"

"It's okay boss, we get everything on control for now", Ayo said while Byran only nod

*****Later in the night*****

Today work is so clumsy, we keep getting a lot of customers.

We are about closing when some guys in suit walked in.

"Hello here, please can we make some order the tallest guy amongst them said,

I was about saying no when the beauty from yesterday walked in looking gorgeous even she looks more beautiful in the jumpsuit she put on, one can get clear view of the top of her breast and curvy hip revealing through the dress that hugged her body tightly.

I was lost staring at her when her calm voice jolt me out of my thoughts.

"Hey, we meet again?" She said as she extend her hand for a shake, without wasting any seconds I grabbed her hand making her look shocked.

"I'm David Jason"

"I'm Monica Morrison" she said tucking her hair behind her ear, then my eyes trailed down to where her eyes were on my body.

I caught her staring at my chest through the shirt I worn, since it's soaked in sweat. And I don't really like wearing singlet.

I guess she know I caught her in the act, she looked up to see my gaze on her.

"Ehh ehh eh we will be taking our order now", she stammered went to where her co-workers are seated

Monica POV 💃

I keep staring at him as he goes, aww why do I feel attached to him

Ohh he's not really bad, he gets the abs, body I thought and giggled out loud and my co-workers stare at me like I'm on drugs or something else.

I adjusted my posture and kept a straight face immediately and they all move their gaze away and look down.

They have to fear of being sack. That's Monica Morrison, I thought.

***30 minutes later ***

After eating, my co workers and I walked out of the restaurant

Just then, David run to where I am as I am about to enter my car.

"You forget this ma'am, he said handling the mini bag containing some files about the project we are working on.

"Ohh can't believe, I forget this. Thanks" I said and enter my car and drive away .

I get home quite late, cause I stopped at the bridge to get some fresh air and think about my family,

As I drive in, I meet my step mom pacing round the compound looking worried, as I walked past her, she quickly grabbed my wrist.

"Monica" I heard her called, before she would complete whatever she is going to say,

"Don't you dare call me, you murderer, don't you feel guilt or you just don't have feelings!" l said sternly yanking her hand and enter the house and went straight to my room, where I meet another annoying dog .

"Miss Monica, why are you late" he said

I scoffed trying to control the anger in me.

"I went out with my co-workers I replied him within gritted teeth knowing well that not telling him might cause trouble at tommorow breakfast,

I storm into my room and slammed the door

"Mood ruiner" I mumbled

After having my bath, I feel quite refresh and less angry, I take my phone and searched for the restaurant CHOP, hoping to get any link of David, about 3minutes of scrolling through I come across his pictures and details.

"Wow! David Jason, 29 years old and Chop kitchen CEO" I read out loud, I jumped on the bed looking through his other pictures

Aww he just too cute

***10 minutes later***

I keep tossing round my bed when an idea popped up on my head.

Yes! Gonna do that.

Mr Morrison pov

I laid down on the bed in my room, watching the reviews on the new design Monica designed.

"Sir you have a call" I heard a voice outside the door which I know it's no one else but Richard

"Come in, who is that"

"It's Mr Park, he has received the message, he wants to have a personal talk with you"

**The next day**

David pov

I wake up early because I wasn't able to go to the hospital yesterday, the restaurant is full of customers. As the water ran through my body in the bathroom,

I just keep smiling remembering how I shaked Monica, her hand are so soft and warm.

I feel like having those hands rubbing my chest and any other parts.

I dress up quickly, and make my way to the hospital to see my sister.

"Hey, I said smiling, walking up to my sister whose face was faking a frown.

"How are you doing" l mumbled touching her cheeks,

"are you angry that I didn't come yesterday "

"No, I just want to get discharge" she said softly.

"Why"

"Can't I" she replied rolling her eyeball, making me want to burst into laughter.

"You look funny that way my dear Eliza, and you know you can't for now it's dangerous" l said hoping she won't disagree.

"Okay as your lordship pleases, get me chicken their food here wanna make me puke" she said seriousness showing on her face

I mumbled lowly for her to hear "you have been eating it for years"

I run out before she could throw the pillow beside her

***30 minutes later***

She is done eating and I watched her sleep before I leave.

**At the restaurant**

We all get to work immediately and we get a lot of orders especially from Morrison fashion.

Monica POV

I waited patiently at Byran apartment, for him to come out.

Actually, I made my findings and it is only Byran that can help in my plan.

"Hello, hope I didn't keep you waiting much, I have to sort some things you know boys stuff. Come in" he gesture to me to follow him in.

"Alright" I said geez he's such a talkative, I thought.

"Well I need you to bring David to where I would be giving you the invitation" I said immediately as we enter.

"Why, and why do you think I would do that" he said.

"Because I know you will, you will get to be amongst the world VVIP and a lot of girls will be available" I said knowing fully that he would accept.

"Okay deal, will you like a cup of coffee or juice" he said.

"No, I have to go" I walked out of the apartment and drive away.

"Alright", I said collect the phone from him.
