Previously on episode 7...... The nurse told us to take ava to the hospital, she's in a critical condition, the news have already gone round the school, Amelia wants to kill ava. I can't believe this, and dad expect me to get married to her. gosh. After taking Ava to the hospital, I went home. Ava mum was called and asked to come to school. Moris cried likewise Ann. Ava is in the hospital bed now, struggling to be alive.

Mr Johnson's pov

"Amelia have done it again, what is wrong with this girl?, I've told her mother several times to talk to her, now what is this I'm hearing"., I mumbled as I parked my car at the parking garage, and rushed inside, Kate and Amelia were discussing when I came in. my wife immediately stood up to welcome me but I cut her off.

"Dad, welcome." Amelia greeted.

"Keep your greetings to your self." I shouted surprising them. immediately they stood up from the cushion.

"Honey, why are you shouting?, why the sudden change of mood?," Kate asked as if I was happy when I came in.

"How could you?, how could you Amelia?, why are you bent on disgracing I and my household?:, I asked Amelia.

"What have I done again dad?",she asked innocently.

"So you want to be a murderer huh?, why are you doing this?" I asked and Kate rushed and held me.

"What has my daughter done this time?,honey." Kate asked.

"Haven't you heard?, Amelia tried to kill an innocent girl yesterday and she didn't let me know, "I told her, Amelia hissed and sat down pressing her phone, Kate immediately left me.

"And then,? "Kate asked me ,I flashed my eyes to her immediately.

"God, is that all you have to say?," I asked amazed.

"She tried to kill an innocent girl, does that put food on our table?, Ooh the girl isn't dead and you're complaining". she said making Amelia laugh. This isn't the woman I married, this is absolutely wrong, what has been happening in my house?.

"Kate, so all you have to say is this, Kate why?, the girl is currently at the hospital struggling for her life and.......

"She isn't dead yet, huh, OK. The person that told you, did the person let you know about what she did?, now you believe them more than you do to your daughter ?, take a look at your daughter's leg, she should be thankful to her God cos if it were for me, I would not spare her ."kate said surprising me the more.I could not talk anymore ,I rushed upstairs.

Amelia's pov

"Mom, that was interesting to watch ,you are the best".

"Don't mind him, you are learning now, anyone that comes in your way, you keep them off. I'm always with you. "She said and I immediately hugged her. mum is always the best.

Mr Johnson's pov .

Amelia's principal sent for me. I came in and sat down, waiting for the mother of the child to come.

"I'm sorry for everything that happened, it will not repeat it self again", I begged.

"I'm disappointed in Amelia, she wasn't like this before, all you have to do now is to apologize to Ava and her mother. Then you pay the hospital bills". She said.

"Madam,where's my child?," a woman rushed in immediately. I turned and we were both surprised to see each other.

"What are you doing here?," I asked standing up from my chair immediately.

"I should be asking you that. "she answered me.

"Are you Ava's mom?", the principal asked and she nodded. I immediately sat down on the chair.

"This is Mr Johnson, he's the father of the girl who wanted to kill your daughter, sit". I know Clara very well, she won't react now, she just calmly went over to the principal.

"Where's my daughter?", she asked calmly surprising the principal.

"Come on, let's go." the principal said standing up as she left with Clara and I.

Mrs Clara's pov

I rushed to where my daughter was kept, she was lying on the hospital bed, with so many machines connected to her body. A girl sat beside her, she was crying. I went closer to the bed, I could see Ava's face.

"Ava,"i called as I went closer to her body. I touched her hair, her face and her body, I immediately broke into tears.

"Ava, open your eyes," I whispered. I know she wasn't going to hear me. The girl cried more. I rushed outside, I saw Johnson and the principal discussing, I went over to Johnson and held him by his collar.

"Where's your daughter?, why can't you let my family be?, why can't you leave us alone?", i shouted drawing attentions to us but I didn't care,all I care for now is my daughter.

"Say something, are you deaf?", I shouted more as tears streamed down my cheeks.

"Calm down ma, he's........

"It's non of your business principal, in fact where were you when my daughter was drowned.?I should blame you for all these." I shouted on her shutting her off.

"Amelia should be punished for what she did to ava, I'm calling the police right now."A girl said bringing out her phone.

"morris ?,what are you doing here?", Johnson asked, I released him immediately.

"Mr Johnson, I've had enough of your daughter's nonsense, she should be punished."moris shouted.

"What's the doctor saying now?" Johnson asked.

"She's out of danger now, you all have to wait for her to regain consciousness."A young boy said, I looked at the boy again.

"Dave?". I called the boy and he looked at me as if I have gone mad. Everyone there became surprise.

"You don't remember me?", I asked him.

Writer's pov

Let me refresh your memory

Do you remember when Dave came to Ava mother's coffee shop? in episode 9,when he saw her for the first time and immediately said he knew her from somewhere but couldn't remember?

Dave's pov

Now,I and Ava's mom sat together beside ava, yeah I knew her from somewhere but can't remember, but seems like she knows me very well. Maybe she might tell me about my mother .I looked at ava, she's beautiful, more beautiful than I can ever imagine. So sweet that everyone already loves her but what happened to Amelia, she wasn't like this before. I've known ava since childhood and we grew up together. But since she was taken to America, I don't know her anymore. she's new to me.

"Dave, you don't remember your childhood days, do you?" Mrs Clara asked.

"I don't, all I know is that I was told I was involved in a fire outbreak and everything became blur to me. I can't remember anything."

Mrs Clara's pov

I was still pregnant with ava and her sister, he was about two years then, when I saved him.

There was an arm robbery attack at the bank. Dave and her mom were there and so was I.

Flashbacks

"Dave ,Dave, where are you?" A woman shouted looking around as we were outside. Everyone were already out, the arm robbers were inside battling with the police and it's dangerous to leave anyone inside the bank now. But where could Dave be?, I asked myself as I saw this woman crying endlessly. people around pitied her but none could do anything. I touched her shoulder and she looked at me, where is Dave?, I asked her.

"He's inside, He went inside to ease himself before we heard gun earlier. "

"Gosh!, you left your son inside and ran for your life, are you insane?, don't you know it's very dangerous ",I asked as she cried more.

I rushed inside going through the back door. people were shouting that it's dangerous to go in, in this my condition but I didn't listen, a small boy is in there, and the arm robbers and the police were in too, but what if the gun mistakenly gets to him.

I ran inside, I climbed the stairs, I looked at every corner but I couldn't find him, where's Dave?, I muttered and went towards the entrance, I could hear gunshots everywhere, I got scared, hope this boy is not inside this hall. Then I looked at the other pave way and saw a small boy about 2yrs, that must be dave, only the glass comes between this way and the other way. but this boy is going towards the hall. I shouted his name but he could not hear me, I immediately rushed in .

"Dave," I called and he looked at me, I ran to him immediately, I looked at his face, he has been crying. I was still checking up on him when I noticed a gun placed on my head.

"Get up"the man shouted, I could not see his face, he's on mask. I obeyed immediately held Dave tight, the small boy was visibly shaking. An idea popped into my head, I immediately kicked him in the groin and he writhed in pain.i carried Dave immediately and ran away. I was running down stairs when I slipped and fell off, it was very painful .i was already in labour shouting for help, a police man who heard my cries came immediately and helped me. People were amazed ,I was taken to the hospital immediately.

Flash back ends

You were little then, I remembered when you were taken away from me. you know after that day, I gave birth to twins but the other died leaving only ava. you were always fond of ava, you were always with her even when the fire outbreak occurred.

"Fire outbreak?, I was told it happened, but don't know the details... and my mom?

"It was on your birthday, you chosed to celebrate it in my house. That was when ava was six months old.

Flashbacks.

Writer's narration.

Mrs Clara went to the market leaving Dave's mom (Mrs Brown) and Dave with little ava. Mr Lucas travelled for a business trip and couldn't stay for his son's birthday.

Mrs Kate.

"Madam, she has given birth, I found out where they are living". A man said over the phone.

"Nice job, kill her and the baby, don't let them live especially the baby. I want a clean job."

"Yes ma'am. "He answered and cut the call.

Mrs Clara was yet to be back,She has stayed till late at night which got Mrs Brown worried, but meanwhile she was kidnapped by some men. Its late and little ava was hungry ,so Dave's mom went into the kitchen to make milk. , Dave was playing with ava as usual in the room.

Outside the house, the thugs sent to kill ava were already at work. They had three gallons of fuel all emptied around the house.

Then they light up the matches and threw it down, fire immediately spread round the house.

Back inside, Mrs Brown Was The first to perceive the smell, it was coming from the window, ,she shifted the kitchen curtain, she backed out immediately she saw fire. She rushed inside the room, carried little ava and held Dave by the hand. They rushed into the parlour, by now the fire have circulated round the house, she was still looking for how to get out when a big wood fell on Dave and he fainted. She immediately rushed to Dave crying, she dropped ava on the cushion which seemed like a safer place to keep her. she was already crying. she rushed to Dave and noticed a cut on his head, as she was still examining the cut, another big wood fell on her and she fainted.

Outside the house, people had already called the fire safety and were already putting off the fire, that was when Mrs Clara arrived. She freed from kidnappers .She rushed inside and carried ava outside, informing the officers to help her call the ambulance, Dave and her mom were taken outside. Shortly after, the ambulance arrived taking Dave and his mom to the hospital. Mrs Brown later died and the next day and Dave was still in coma. Mr Lucas was informed immediately, he arrived the next day, the cops asked some questions about what happened at the neighborhood and none could give answers for what happened, the cops later advised Mrs Clara to move away from the neighborhood since it was dangerous to be there. Dave later woke up loosing his memories so he had no idea about who his mother was and was never told. He and his father later moved away not ready to get memories about Mrs Brown. That was how they lost contact of each other.
