Ramos

"Lucas!" I gave him a hug, and he returned the gesture; he was taken aback to see me there, particularly chatting with the alpha.

"Are you serious?" asked Lucas, completely taken aback "What are you doing, Ramos, standing around in this place? why didn't you call me?"

I let out a sigh and said, "My car broke down on the way here, and as a result, I lost both my wallet and my identification card. It's a pretty drawn-out tragedy to be honest. However, my main objective while I'm here is to secure employment."

The alpha looked at me and then asked Lucas, "so, you know him already?" Lucas wasn't sure what to say in response, but the alpha asked him anyway.

Lucas nodded, "Certainly, Alpha. It's been a while since we last saw each other."

The alpha then said, "good, then take Ramos to fix the limo," and the conversation continued.

Lucas remained immovable in his position, giving the impression that he did not want me to repair the limo. I could tell from the look in his eyes that he didn't want to see me there.

I had a talk with Lucas, "Please, Lucas, allow me to take care of it. I really could not survive without having that income. please."

The alpha regarded me with an expression on his face that suggested he was interested in learning more about me "That really is strange, isn't it! despite the fact that you used to run your own business, you're still interested in working as a mechanic, right?"

I heaved a sigh, feeling miserable, and informed the alpha, "I will be completely honest with you: I am a mid-ranked wolf who can handle any situation. So I have good skills. Even working as a farmer is fine with me, but I can't look for more work because my money will be gone in a few days and my sister is traveling with me at the moment. Evelyn's life wasn't always so difficult; in the past, she had it much easier."

The fact that I had to tell that Evelyn was my sister and not my mate was a blow to my emotional well-being, but it was necessary. I had no choice but to keep our true identities a secret because I had no other options.

When I started to continue, Lucas interrupted me and asked, "you have never spoken about your sister, have you?"

I fabricated a false story and lied about it very quickly "She is only 21 years old and is my younger sister from my mother. Yes, she is my mother's younger sister. Lucas gave a slight nod, but his gaze remained fixed on me the entire time.

But fortunately, the alpha seemed to adore his limo so much, which is why he said, "I can't believe how much I love my limo." "Okay, if you can fix this limo, I'll hire you to be my personal driver and mechanic, and I'll give you a small room in my castle to share with your sister. All of this will be in exchange for you fixing this limo. You have only thirty minutes left, and please do not make any attempts to damage the limo; it belonged to my father, who has since passed away."

The alpha provided me with an attractive employment opportunity as well as a place to live, but he also cautioned me. Nevertheless, I was confident in my ability to find a solution to the problem. I smiled broadly and nodded my head affirmatively before responding with the word "sure."

After that, the alpha gave Lucas the order to "show him the limo."

After walking me outside of the hotel to the location of the limo, Lucas helped me get inside and I immediately began inspecting everything. It didn't take me more than five minutes to make the necessary adjustments to everything. Then, after turning around to face Lucas again, I announced that it was finished.

Lucas stared at me as if he had just begun to despise me, and then he started telling me, "I don't believe that you will be able to continue working for alpha argon while you are based here. He is not even close to being a nice person! You are aware that we have been friends for a considerable amount of time, which is why I feel it necessary to tell you the truth: he does not have any compassion. Aside from that, the room that he is speaking about is unclean, and it's possible that your sister could get sick from being in a dirty environment."

I didn't know what Lucas did for a living at the time, but he commanded the warriors and even the manager of the hotel in front of me, so it seemed that he was the right hand of the alpha, something close to being beta in rank! Once Lucas had finished his words, I realized that he was afraid that I might one day take his position.

I paid no attention to any of his words and instead played strategically "Don't be concerned, Lucas; I will only be staying here for a few weeks while I collect additional funds; after that, I will take my younger sister and depart from the pack. I beg you, please permit me to remain. You won't fully appreciate her fragility until you've had the chance to get to know my sister. I humbly ask that you please hear me out."

While I was pleading with him, the alpha approached us, acting as if he wanted to check on the limo. He appeared to be concerned that I might wreck the limo that belonged to his late father.

The alpha then turned to me and asked, "So?"

Instantaneously, I responded, "I fixed the limo."

Alpha Argon furrowed his brow and then started the engine as a self-check before continuing. After that, he spoke to me in a manner that impressed me and said, "Oh my goodness, that's fantastic! Therefore, you have been given the position. Therefore, Lucas will show you where you will be staying, after which you will be able to go get your sister and begin working for me as soon as tomorrow. Is that something that you are comfortable with?"

I responded with a shout of excitement, "That's not a problem, alpha. I am prepared to the nth degree "However, Lucas was displaying signs of annoyance by huffing and puffing.

"Let's go now," the alpha commanded his driver as they were getting ready to depart.

Lucas looked at me with a blank expression and then said, "therefore, you won't budge from your decision to accept the position? okay, but I warned you."

I then gave him a light pat on the back before saying, "Please accept my sincere gratitude, close friend. I am aware of the amount of concern that you have. However, I cannot live without the income from that job."

Because Lucas had no other option but to comply with his alpha's directives, he drove me to the castle in his car, which appeared to be a car that belonged to the alpha as well. While we were traveling to the castle, Lucas shared the following information with me: "I have no choice but to obey my alpha's directives." "However, I must let you know that you are not permitted to address me by my name in this location. You must call me, sir! I am the right hand of the alpha when his beta isn't around, and I take care of all of the workers and farmers in the alpha's lands. When his beta is present, I am his right hand. okay?"

Despite the fact that I was taken aback by the manner in which he treated me, I had no choice but to agree, "Sure, Lucas."

But then Lucas said, emphasizing that every word came out of his mouth, "you are now a driver, so you must call me sir."

"Sure, sir!"

It was so humiliating for me, but I couldn't fight with him because I had nowhere to go, no job, and no money, and Evelyn wouldn't stay with me for much longer if I couldn't figure out a way to fix all of these problems.

On the other hand, based on Lucas' demeanor and the way he communicated with me, I came to the conclusion that he might be the greatest risk I face.
