Chapter 9 Can I Just Eat You Then

As Quinn walked out of the office,her mind was filled with what Mrs Parker told her. But on the other hand,she felt sad that he will have to leave before her. She sighed and bite her lips, getting to the class it was so quiet that she wonder what's going on.

She ignored the silence and sat down beside Cecelia who immediately grabbed her script,,

" Oh my God!! She have 95%!!" Cecelia screamed and the whole class gasped

Some even have to rush down to them to see her mark Quinn on the other hand was a little bit confused but she couldn't react due to what she was thinking.

👥 95? That's crazy,,

The class continue to murmur

"So what did Mrs Parker told you?" Cecelia asked

" She want me to study with Gray,, I mean Senior Gray" Quinn said

" She want you guys to become study partners? Wow,,you're so lucky, am sure most students will die to have that opportunity " Cecelia said and Quinn smiled but thinking about Emma,she seems disturbed

" But,,are you sure you can do this? " Cecelia asked

" I don't know why,,but I really want to " Quinn smiled

" Who wouldn't anyway " Cecelia grinned and Quinn blushed

" But,,you should be careful with his girlfriend "

" Don't worry about that,,,, " Quinn said

Lunch**

" Honestly,I think it's a bad idea. Emma is going to get mad about it" Jeremy said

" Yeah that's right" Alan agreed

" I don't see why she should be mad,,not like it's her fault or mine " Gray scoffed

" Don't worry,,I gat your back. But I will have to leave your back when Mrs Connor is aware of it " Tony said raising his hand in surrender and Gray chuckled

" Seriously,nobody want to see your mom getting mad. She can do and undo things,,I am really scared of her especially when it comes to Emma,she doesn't joke with her. That's why it's not easy to look at another girl you know? " Alan said

" But,,, Gray never said he likes Quinn right?" Jeremy asked and his friends all kept quiet waiting for his response

" Why bringing that up? " Gray scoffed

" Just want to be sure,,it's gonna cause a lot of troubles if you like her. So,,don't " Jeremy said

" Stop thinking about Shits Jeremy,,,,I am starving " Gray stood up walking out of the class and the rest followed too.

They got to the cafeteria and sat down quietly,Gray on the other hand was searching for Quinn with his eyes until he saw her with her friends. Her smiles which always catch his attention was playing on her lips,,how could someone be as beautiful as that?

Or maybe she's not as beautiful as he's thinking,, but he really find her attractive.

" You've been staring at her for 20 seconds,, take a break and eat then you can continue " Tony whispered into his ears

" 20 seconds? How? " Gray asked

" It's 30 " Jeremy said showing him his wristwatch and Gray rolled his eyes before picking up his spoon

" Wow,,your food look really tasty,is that a turkey?" Alan said and immediately took his fork and inserted it into Gray's food bringing out the turkey

" Wow,,that's quite big. I think we were cheated,,why? Because you're the president son? " Tony scoffed

Gray couldn't say a word as he watch his three friends munching on his turkey,, his mouth was moving,, no doubt that's his favorite. He knew they only want him to talk but he's not ready to do that,,

He sighed and stood up,,

" Where are you going? " Jeremy asked with his mouth still full

" To get another one,," Gray replied

" Let me come with you " Tong said

" If you wanna die,come with me " Gray snapped and they laughed

He ignored them and left the booth,,at that moment Emma came into the cafeteria. The moment her eyes met with Gray,she walked to him where he was trying to get something to eat

" Hey " She called and Gray looked back

He let out a smile but it died off when he noticed she wasn't looking good

" Are you okay? Why is your face like this? " He asked touching her head

" I'm fine,,just a little bit tired " She said

" You should have told me,," Gray said

" I don't want you to worry about me,,,I am good " Emma said

Gray nodded and pulled her into a hug right there.

👥 Awwwn,,that's so sweet

👥 They look so good together

👥 He's so romantic

After the hug,the two went to sit together.

Gray was already eating but stopped when he noticed Emma wasn't eating,, he looked at her

" Why are you picking on your food? " He asked and she grinned

" Feed me,,I am too tired to move my hand " She said

" Do you want us to leave here then? " Gray asked but Emma shook her head

" No,,,here is better " She replied

Gray agreed and started feeding her and eating at the same time,,by now the students attention are on them which Emma loved so much.

Making everyone see that Gray is hers and nobody else,,

Quinn and his friends were not left out,,they were eating and talking about them.

" Show off " Demetra scoffed

" But I think it's cute " Cecelia smiled imagining how it's gonna be to do that with her crush

" It's not cute to me " Demetra said

" Anyhow " Cecelia rolled her eyes

Quinn on the other hand didn't utter a word,she faced her food trying not to look at them but her eyes keep on betraying her.

After School**

Quinn waited patiently for Gray at the private study class,,they are to spend 2 hours together everyday after school.

After waiting for five minutes without seeing him,she stood up and moved to the window and there he is,coming with Emma beside him. They seems to be carried away with whatever they were talking about,,Quinn watch them talk and finally Gray kissed her shortly on the lips before Emma left.

She rolled her eyes and went to sit down,Seconds later Gray came in.

" Hey Queen " Gray smiled and walked closer to her

" Can I just call you Gray and forget about the senior stuff? It's weird " Quinn asked

" Why do you find it weird? " Gray asked

" I don't know,,, "

" Call me whatever you want,,, I am cool " Gray said with a smile and Quinn nodded

Gray sat down in front of her staring at her face,,,

" Shouldn't we introduce ourselves? " he asked and Quinn was confused

" You don't know who I am? " Qyinn asked and Gray nodded

" I only know you as Quinn Queen " Gray said making her smile

" Don't blush,introduce yourself "

" I wasn't even blushing,,,, " Quinn said

" My name is Queen,,, oh I mean Quinn " She said and Gray laughed before nodding

" That's all " she said

" You're 14 right ? " Gray teased

" No,, 16. Do I look 14?? I think I look like some 18 years old girl " Quinn said

" 18? Says who? You look like a kid,," Gray said

" Fine,,,what about you? "

" I don't need to introduce myself,let's start " Gray said opening the books

" That's not fair,, you forced me to tell you my age so tell me yours "

Gray didn't reply

" I guess you're 13 " Quinn said

" you're right " Gray replied and Quinn frowned

Gray looked up and touched her cheek

" I am 18,,," he said

" I knew it,,, just wanted to confirm. " Quinn said and stick her tongue out to him

" Do you want me to cut that tongue off? "

" You won't dare,,,my mom is gonna get you punished,,," Quinn bragged

" No more talking,,,, " Gray said and there was silence

Hours Later**

" Wow,,you're so smart. Good job " Gray gave her a thumb up and pinched her cheek

" Will you take me home please?? " Quinn asked

" Why should I do that? "

She only said that because she wasn't ready to leave him

" I don't want to be left alone waiting for the driver " She replied

" So,what do I get in return if I take you home? " Gray asked

" What do you want? " Quinn asked

Gray kept quiet for some minutes just staring at her with those eyes of his

" Oh,,,,,,,right now you're looking at me like you want to eat me up. " Quinn said nervously and Gray chuckled

" Can I just eat you then? " Gray asked
