Chapter 7 Just You..

*The White House**

Getting home,the boys ran into the mansion leaving Gray behind,he shook his head and dropped the car key before going in with them.

The living room was filled which immediately made Gray fall sick,,why will there be so many people just because of Henry and Angel?

"Or,,,,is dad back? " He asked himself trying to find either Angel or Henry

Gray sighed when he realized that a party was going on,,he tap his head feeling frustrated and went upstairs.

Angel who wouldn't stop smiling at the kind of love everyone was showing them saw Gray going upstairs,, she immediately excused herself and went after him.

She entered his room and met him on the bed,his bag on the other side. He look rather too worn out with his face expression.

"Hey kiddo,are you okay?" Angel asked getting Gray's attention

He smiled and stood up to hug her

"I missed you" He said

"Really? And you didn't bother to look for me downstairs? " Angel asked patting his back

"You know how much I hate crowds,,"Gray said and withdraw from the hug

Angel smile and rough his hair

"Kiddo is becoming so big" Angel said as she had to stand on her toes before touching Gray's hair,,he's really tall

Gray grin and hugged her again lifting her up in the process

"What the hell! " She screamed and knocked him on the head

He immediately dropped her and winced as he rub his head roughly

"Gosh,,,that hurts" He groaned

"Why did you do that? Are you trying to show off your power?" Angel scoffed and sat down

"Just want to show you to stop Calling me a kid,,am a man now" Gray claimed and Angel scoffed

"You will always be a kid to me okay?" She said

Gray smiled and looked at her intensely

"Any secret? Do you have a boyfriend? You look pretty" He teased

"Meaning? I can take care of myself, do I need a boyfriend before looking pretty?"

"Oh,,that's right, I get it " Gray said

"Your friends are downstairs,, they haven't changed one bit,,still crazy and stubborn" Angel said standing up

"I'm glad you know they are crazy" Gray said

"Are you coming? I need to go back" Angel said and Gray shook his head

"My head is messed up right now,,I want to have a rest" Gray said

"Your head? Why? Are you worried about something? You can tell me"

"I'm fine,,,go have fun" Gray said

"Oh yeah!! What about Emma? I can't wait to see her again,,bet she will be prettier Now,," Angel winked at Gray

He scoffed

"Go" he muttered before falling on the bed

Angel kissed his cheek before going out.

As she closed the door,she met Tony waiting and she released her cute smile,,

"Hey Tony,,how are you? Going to Gray?" She asked

"Oh,,,,no,,," Tony said

"Really?"

"Yeah,,,,I just wanted to say hi to you,,the crowd are too much " Tony said and Angel chuckled

"Thanks,," She replied

They both started walking downstairs

"You look beautiful,,, good to have you back" Toby said

"Wow,,,my heart. Thanks Tony ,you are looking good too. " She replied

"I,,," Tony was interrupted

"Will talk to you later Tony" Angel said as she was dragged away by some of her friends

Tony watched her until she was out of sight.

He brushed his hair with her fingers and turned back to meet his friends.

At the restaurant**

Quinn sat down quietly watching her mom ordering for different delicacies and she wonder how many people are coming.

"Okay,,guess this is enough ,eat up" Mrs Spencer said with a smile

Quinn nodded and took the cutleries,,she started eating before her mom joined her.

"So,,,how is Focus High?" Mrs Spencer asked

"Not bad mom" Quinn replied not leaving her food

"Any friend?" She asked and Quinn nodded

"Two,," She said after drinking water

"Girls right?" Mrs Spencer asked and Quinn looked up

"Am not allowed to make friends with boys?" She asked

"You can,,,but not too close. " Mrs Spencer said and Quinn rolled her eyes

"I know what am talking about okay? I don't want you to end up like me" Mrs Spencer said

"You're perfect,there are numerous women dreaming to become Lawyer Spencer " Quinn said

"You think so? "

"I know " Quinn replied and continue eating her food.

She stopped and looked up when her mom hold her hand

"Just promise me one thing,,,, you won't get carried away by any silly feelings? You can't date anyone now,,I don't want that to happen,trust me I will be mad if you disobey me" She said and Quinn rolled her tongue in her mouth before nodding

"I promise" she muttered and Mrs Spencer smiled and then arranged her long hair

"You're so pretty,," She said

Quinn continue eating without saying a word again

"You like the meal right? "

"Yeah,,thanks mom " Quinn said and there was silence until Mrs Spencer phone's rang

Quinn scoffed inwardly knowing fully well that she will be leaving,,,

📞Yes Mr Kylo??" she called

📞Is it urgent?

📞I will be there right away

She hanged up and looked at Quinn who didn't bother to look up

"Baby,,,,,"

"You can go,, but I am going to finish my food" Quinn said without raising her head and Mrs Spencer sighed

"I'm sorry,,,you will find your way up right?"

"I've always did,,just go"

Mrs Spencer stood up and carried her bag,she walked out of restaurant

5pm**

Quinn left the restaurant and started her walk to the bus stop,, she will have to take the public transport, she have no choice anyway.

She sat down waiting patiently for the next bus,,

A security man watching her from afar walked to her,,

"Hey young girl " He called and Quinn looked up

"Is this your first time trying to get a bus?" He asked

"Yeah?" she answered

"The last bus is gone,,," The man said and Quinn stood up

"Oh,,,thank you" She said

"You're welcome,, " The man said and walked away almost instantly

Quinn took her phone and called her mom but she wouldn't pick up. Probably at work already

"This is insane,,am I gonna walk home now? " She sighed and started walking

Gray opened his eyes after the long sleep and stood up feeling much better,,,he took his phone and saw numerous calls from Emma.

He called her and she picked at first ring obviously been waiting for his calls.

📞Gray!!

📞I'm sorry,,were you worried?

📞Of course

📞 I slept off,,are you okay? You home already? He asked

📞 Yeah,

📞 I'm fine,,you don't have to worry about me

📞 But why are you sleeping? Are you feeling sick? Don't fall sick

Gray chuckled

📞 I am not sick Emma,,trust me

📞 Okay,,,

📞 Yeah,,,let's talk later.

📞 Tonight right?

📞 Yes,

📞 Okay,,,love you

📞 Bye Emma,,

He hanged up before going into the bathroom

After taking his bath,,he dressed up simply but still looking good as usual,,he checked himself out in the mirror,,

"Do you wanna get dyed?" He asked touching his hair

"Proud to have a brother who care about his look better than anything " The voice said behind him and he looked back

Henry smiled at him,,

"Hey,," Gray said

"Are you pregnant? Why sleeping for that long? You didn't even take off your clothes, I checked you like four times" Henry said

"You really checked on me? That's new" Gray said

"Are you going out? Your outfit is cool" Henry said and Gray scoffed checking himself out

"What are you talking about?"

"You look handsome dude,,bet the girls will be dying to have you" Henry grinned and Gray scoffed

"What about you? " Gray asked

"I don't care about my looks,,," Henry said

"Stop that " Gray said walking to the bedroom

"So,,how many girlfriends do you have?" Henry asked and Gray looked at him

"Are you really asking me about that? "

"Oh,,,you don't have any one? Just because of Emma?" Henry asked and Gray rolled his eyes

"Dude,,you need to act like a real man. Getting married to Emma doesn't mean you wouldn't have fun " Henry said

"But,,,dad,,"

"Forget about that old man dude,,it's your life. Have fun,," Henry said and Gray smiled

"I think this is the first time you will ever say something I love" Gray said

"I am smart,,that old man just wouldn't see it" Henry said and Gray chuckled

"old man indeed,,,I am going out anyway. I will like to have some boy conversation with you when I get back" Gray said

"Always here for you guy" Henry said and tapped his shoulder before going out.

Gray took the key from the guards and got into the car,,

"Young master,,,,"

"I will be fine" He cut the guard off and drove out of the mansion.

As Quinn walk home,she wasn't bored as she had expected. She keep on seeing things which excited her a lot but at the same time tired of walking.

She had stopped to get some junks on her way which she was busy with in her mouth,,,,but then suddenly a car stopped right beside her almost making her scared with the way it stopped.

The car opened and her eyes grew wide as she saw Gray,,,,

She immediately put herself together and made way to leave without saying a word,,,

" Hey Queen" Gray smiled and walked to her

"Hi,,," She replied shortly

"Are you okay? And where are you going? "Gray asked

"I'm fine,," Quinn said

"Where are you going?" Gray asked

"Home"

"Do you mind coming with me?" He asked

"Yeah,,don't worry about me. " She replied and took a step

Gray pulled her back

"What do you want from me?? I just said I am fine" Quinn snapped

Gray was a little bit surprised at her reaction,,,

'Is she mad at me? ' he wondered and released her.

"I thought you don't want to talk to me,," Quinn said

"Why?" Gray asked

"I don't know,, "

"Stop thinking about things like that " Gray said

"Come in,,I will take you home" Gray added

"Are you sure? What if,,,your girlfriend,,,, "

She couldn't finish her statement when Gray grabbed her hand taking her to the car

"You don't have to bring her up when we are together " Gray said when they entered the car

"But she's,,,, "

"No,,," Gray cut her off and she nodded

Meanwhile she was smiling inwardly.
