Chapter 8 Study Time

After the long ride,they finally stopped in front of Quinn's house,,

"Thank you,,you're a life saver" Quinn said

"Life saver? How?" Gray asked and Quinn grinned

"Never mind" She said

"You're really a little Queen" Gray said

"It's Quinn,not Queen " Quinn said and Gray hummed

"No,,I prefer Calling you Queen. I think it's more pretty for you,," Gray said

"Why?"

"Because you're pretty " He replied

"Are you trying to flirt with me?" Quinn raised her brow up and Gray chuckled

"Is that considered a flirting too?" Gray asked

"Of course,,right now I am being careful " Quinn said

" Careful about what?"

"To stay out of troubles of course,, your girlfriend probably hate me,,and seeing us together will only make her hate me more. " She said

Gray was quiet before speaking up,,

"You don't have to feel uncomfortable just because of her,,,"

"No ,,I don't want to get into her blacklist,,I don't know why but I think people really do get angry seeing their boyfriend with another girl" Quinn said and Gray let out a smile

"You don't know why?" Gray asked

"Yeah,,I've never had a boyfriend " She scoffed

"Really? Why?"

"'Because my mom doesn't approve it" she imagined herself telling him that

"Because I don't want to" She replied

Gray smiled and nodded

"I think I should go now,thanks." Quinn said and opened the door,she waved at Gray before going in. As soon as she went in,Gray drove off.

Jillian was with some stuffs in her hand as she walked toward the mansion,she stopped when she noticed a car in front of the house,and then to her surprise Quinn came out of the car.

She waited until the car drove off to see who was in it,but she couldn't. Slowly she went into the mansion and locked the door.

She's their housemaid and she's quite close with Quinn,,she's 20 years of age. When she got in,Quinn was laying down on the couch smiling to herself that she didn't notice Jillian coming in,,

"Why is she smiling this way?" She asked herself and tapped Quinn who snapped out of her thoughts instantly

" Oh,,hey Jillian. When did you get here?" Quinn asked sitting up

" Of course you won't notice when you are busy thinking about something I don't know, " Jillian said and Quinn smiled

" I wasn't thinking about anything " Quinn said

" Who was the guy who dropped you anyway? " Jillian asked

Quinn gasped

" Which guy are you talking about? " She asked and Jillian scoff

" I saw you coming out of his car " Jillian said

Quinn stood up,,

" You know what? You didn't see anything,,, okay?" Quinn said and Jillian was confused

" How do you mean? I didn't see anything? " Jillian asked

" Yeah,,that's a secret okay? Mom is gonna kill me if she finds out I was brought home by some guy,,, so please don't say a word about it" Quinn said

" Okay,,but,,who is he?" Jillian asked

" He's no one,," Quinn said and carried her bag

" No one?? What does that mean right now??"

" Yeah,,you don't have to know him" Quinn said and went upstairs

Jillian shook her head before going her own way,,

Quinn got to her room and dropped her bag on the bed,,she couldn't stop thinking about Gray and she felt so silly that she felt that way. She laid on the bed for some seconds and then stood up again,, she stook off her clothes and went into the bathroom.

She took her bath and put on a more comfortable outfit before going out of the room,,the phone in her hand buzzed.

A message from Demetra

She entered the kitchen and met Jillian preparing dinner,, she sat down on a seat replying her messages.

Jillian faced her and She looked up

" It's my friend,, a girl" Quinn said raising her phone up and Jillian chuckled

" I don't know why you're telling me this " Jillian said and Quinn smiled

" But I think you're really hiding something,,, don't worry I will find out" Jillian said and continue working again.

Later that night**

Jillian knocked on Quinn's room before opening the door, Quinn was on her tablet when the door opened and she stopped.

" She's back" Jillian said and Quinn immediately groaned and got up

" You know I don't want dinner right? " Quinn asked and Jillian nodded

" She want me to call you" She said

Quinn followed her out of the room and they went downstairs,, Mrs Spencer was about eating,,

" Welcome mom" Quinn said joining her on the dinning table

" So,,how did you get home?" Mrs Spencer asked

Quinn looked up at Jillian who immediately shook her head

" I took a bus" She said and her mom looked at her

" Why did you have to look at Jillian before giving an answer?" Mrs Spencer asked suspiciously

" It's nothing mom" Quinn said

" I'm sorry if you went through the stress because of me,," Mrs Spencer apologized and Quinn nodded feeling relieved that her mom stopped her questions at that extent,she know her mom can be so curious.

" It's fine " Quinn said

" You're not hungry? Do you want something else?" Mrs Spencer asked and Quinn shook her head,she stood up.

" Goodnight mom" She said and kissed her mom's cheek before leaving

" You think she's mad at me? " Mrs Spencer asked Jillian

" I don't think she is,,,I guess she's tired,it's her first time on a bus" Jillian said

" I feel bad,," Mrs Spencer sighed and continue to eat.

Jillian swallowed hard,she couldn't believe sh just lied.

White House**

" What are you guys doing here anyway?" Angel asked as she joined Gray and Henry at the winebar

"Same question goes to you" Henry said and Angel scoffed

" Gray,,you should sleep,you're going to school tomorrow right?" Angel asked

" So?" Henry asked

" Hey Gray,,Don't listen to him,he's a bad influence " Angel said and Gray smiled seeing them acting crazy

" I think you should take a break Sis,you need to rest" Gray said and got down from the chair and pulled her forward

" I can't believe this,,are you chasing me away?" Angel asked as Gray lead her upstairs

" Yeah,,,I need to talk to Henry " Gray replied

" You can talk to me "

" You're a girl,,, " Gray said and Angel scoffed

" Are you two planning on girls? So why can't I listen? "

Gray groaned

" Okay fine,,goodnight " Angel said and rub his cheek before walking away

Gray went back to Henry

" I think Angel is a witch" Henry scoffed

" Pretty witch " Gray grinned

" Tell me,what do you want to talk to me about?" Henry asked

Days Later**

In the science class, the students all were quiet waiting for the teacher to come in. Some look scared while others doesn't seem to care about what was going on at the moment.

Cecelia faced Quinn

" What do you think?" She asked and Quinn sighed

" I am so sure I failed,, I am worried, and besides it came as a complete shock, no one expected that " Quinn scoffed

" I don't want that to happen" Cecelia said

They had a test the previous day and the result will be out today,,

After waiting for few minutes,, the teacher finally came in.

"Morning students" The female teacher greeted

" Thank you Miss Parker" They all chorused

"Here with the results,,,bad thing most of you failed. I don't understand how it was so difficult,, "

" It's not even time for test, how is that our fault?" Rihana scoffed from the back and the students all nodded in agreement

" As a student,you should be prepared any damn time. You shouldn't wait until you're taking the General test. It's a Shame,study harder." Mrs Parker said and started distributing the scripts to them.

When she got to Quinn,she stopped

" New student right? " She asked and Quinn nodded

" Come with me after this class" Mrs Parker said

" Okay " Quinn said,,the teacher didn't give her the script and she was wondering if she failed so woefully

" I bet she scored Zero" Rihana voiced out and the whole class bursts into laughter

" Shut up Rihana,,you had 20%,,," Jaden who was sitting beside her said and the class laughed while Rihana looked at him angrily

She had been crushing on him but it seems he will never give her his attention, he doesn't like her and it's obvious.

" Wow,,that's crazy. Sorry I had 60% " Cecelia winked at Rihana

"Wow" The class murmured

" 70%" Demetra raised hers up and the class all murmured again

" Well,,,,,I got 75%" Jaden said in a groan

" Wow,,I am here struggling to get 50%,,gosh" A girl scoffed and the class laughed

Rihana felt so embarrassed that she couldn't say a word

" Quinn,,come with me." Mrs Parker said and Quinn immediately followed her.

" So,,,Quinn really scored Zero?" A boy called Winston asked from the back

" She wouldn't score that, shut up" Timmy,,another boy in the class snapped

" I don't see any point in defending her,obviously she failed" The Winston said

" I don't really know why the hell you're making this a big deal,it's not even the school test" Demetra scoffed

" Winston is really silly to think Quinn would score such a horrible mark" Cecelia hissed

Quinn followed Mrs Parker into her office and was asked to sit down

There was silence which was killing Quinn inwardly,, if there's something she hates most in her life, it's failing. Even though it's not the school test,she still felt like she's going to burst out anytime soon if she really failed.

Her mom have always being the strict parent who will never listen to any excuse if she fail any subject in school,,she always try her best to pass anything, but this one came as a shock to everyone.

" So,,Miss Spencer," The teacher finally talked

" Yes mam?"

Mrs Parker hand over the script to her and she couldn't believe her eyes

" 95%?" she asked to be sure and Mrs Parker nodded

A smile escape Quinn's lips and she breathe out feeling better

Then why did she have to bring her here

" I need to talk to you,,,I see you're really smart and you will be the best we are going to have in the senior class when the present senior year students are out of the school" Mrs Parker said and then continued

" So,,from now. I will link you up with someone to study with,,I don't want you to get distracted during your free times "

Quinn nodded a little wondering who the person is gonna be,,

" You know Gray right?" Mrs Parker asked and her heart skipped a beat

What? She's going to study with Gray??
