Chapter 4 Punishment

" Why does the orphanage head want to see me, did he find out that I steal to get food for the children!, no I don't think so it must have been about the work I wasn't able to complete yesterday!" Jace concluded calming himself.

It wasn't his intention to steal but the world has been so cruel to them, nobody to take care of them or feed them, the orphanage workers only give them food once a day lying and saying that the government doesn't provide enough money to feed them.

Jace went inside the office of the orphanage head, he was sitting down on his seat with the vice orphanage head sitting across the table.

They saw Jake walk in and immediately they both got up, the orphanage head rushed towards Jace

Pahhhh! he gave Jace a hot resounding slap on his cheeks which turned red immediately.

Jace staggered back and almost fell to the floor, he was so weak and tears started rolling down his cheeks. The vice head seeing this started smiling at the misfortune that befell Jace.

" This is the sixth time I told you not to leave this orphanage without my consent to go anywhere, not that I care about you anyways, if you make me lose my job because of your foolishness I will make sure you are dead with no one knowing I will give you a horrible and painful death that you wish to never be born into this world again!" The orphanage head shouted almost slapping Jace again but held himself as not to injure Jace, so he won't look at his job of not taking care of the children.

" You are always and will remain a worthless piece of shit, and as for your punishment, you will cut all the grass at the backyard, clean all the house and dishes for one week, and if you fail to even do one of them correctly I will make it one month, now get out of my side stupid piece of shit! " The orphanage head shouted pushing Jace out of his office.

He immediately got to the sink to wash and sanitize his hands. " I can't believe I touched that trash kid! " he exclaimed looking towards his vice.

" Hehehe he deserves more beating if not for the inspectors coming to check up on them tomorrow! " replied the Vice head.

" Have almost saved up a lot of money to get out of this trash town, Philadelphia to south Dakota at least it's better than this stupid town if only I was born to either an angel, demon I wouldn't have been here and my life would have been a lot better! " The orphanage head said with a sad face.

" It's not your fault it's this stupid world we are in, anyways at least Jace would soon be 18 in 2years time and we can through him out of here, I just hate being around all those stupid kids, and I still don't know how Jace ended up in this orphanage". replied the Vice head.

" the blue police department who brought him here said they saw him rapped in dirty ragged clothes by the side of the street! " Answered the orphanage head.

" Oh that is he is not worth being here as no one would notice if he suddenly dead! " The vice head said smiling.

Jace went inside the bathroom to clean his face and wash his eyes, he didn't want the other kids to get worried about him. This wasn't the first time something like this was happening so he wasn't too sad to care, he only did it for the children who he felt were his only family.

" Jace what happened to you, what did the head say? " asked the boy on a wheelchair, whose name was Zack.

" oh, it's nothing they just gave me random punishments for sneaking out! " Jace replied smiling

" Are you sure, you know you can always tell us anything we are always here for you" Maddie the girl who Jace was a year other than speaking.

" Yes I know and I would never hide anything from you guys" Jace replied.

The days went by with Jace doing all the chores assigned to him by the orphanage head, sometimes when the orphanage head and the vice were in their office the other children have jace a helping hand.

And soon his punishment was over, everything returned normal Jace was still on the watchful eye of the head so he didn't do anything that would warrant suspension or punishment.

In an abandoned house just beyond the end of the orphanage, a hooded man could be seen walking inside the house, it was already dark outside so he wasn't worried about people seeing him, but he made sure to check his surroundings if anyone was spying.

" Did you bring it?" A hooded man asked the person standing close to him.

" It's here sir, once you press this button the countdown will begin and after one minute it will blow up!" Replied the Man.

" Good," the hooded man said stretching out his hand handing over a small bag that seems to be filled with money.

" The is the money like I promised, now get out of here and never return and remember this is between the two of us,!" Exclaimed the hooded man making sure the other man here's him.

The other nodded smiling opening the bag to count the money.

" Wow 100 slivers, this is bigger than my salary thank you sir I appreciate and remember this will never be told to anyone!" The man replied and started heading out of the abandoned house.

After the Angels and demons came to earth and changed everything, the currency of the world was also changed.

100 slivers= 1 CLass 1 Beast crystal (premitive crystal)

100 class 1 Beast crystals (premitive crystal)= 1 Gold royal
