Chapter 8: Henry's House

Henry's eyes turned red and he grabbed Regan around his neck then realised his mistake and let him go bowing his head.

"Apologies for my actions."

If it had been anyone else Regan would have had them killed for those actions on an elder, it only confirmed with him that Henry's love for Anna had grown even stronger than he ever imagined. He grabbed Henry around his neck and they flew up into the air leaving Anna standing on the ground wondering what was happening.

"I can see it in her eyes, if anyone sees it they will know." Regan said with a smirk.

"I'm not going with anyone else." Henry replied with a stern look on his face.

Regan sighed, "I can see it in your eyes too, if Stannis finds out..."

"I know, I've told her to keep her head down."

"Be careful then, something is happening here I feel it in the air." Regan let him go and they glided back down.

Henry took Anna in his arms and closed his eyes.

"Henry what's going on?"

"It's okay, he is concerned that everyone will be able to see that we are in love."

"I'll see you in there." Regan disappeared off leaving the two of them alone.

"Maybe I shouldn't come then?"

Henry pulled away and gazed into Anna's teary eyes, the ache inside him burned for her, this was going to be harder than he thought.

"Come, I am not going without you, just remember what we said." He kissed her lips and took her hand. "I want to be able to have you fall asleep in my arms tonight."

She squeezed his hand as there was nothing more she would like than to be wrapped up in his arms. The entrance to the great city was down the hill so Henry took Anna in his arms and they glided down to the large open space in between the walls of the rock which led them into the city. Guards now stood either side monitoring who comes and goes. As they landed down Henry had his hand on the back of Anna's neck leading her in, she kept her face towards the floor.

"Any longer and you would have had us coming after you."

"Had to find a good one that's all." Henry laughed as he walked past them taking Anna directly to his home.

Shutting his door he let her go and she rubbed the back of her neck, her eyes took in everything in his home. A large bookcase was the main feature along the wall with a simple couch for sitting in. It was decorated in a dark grey colour on the walls, Anna found it rather dull.

"Wow, it's pretty dull"

" Are you disappointed? "

"Actually it's exactly what i expected" Anna replied with a smile

Henry stood watching her as she gazed over his home, she walked up to the bookcase and ran her fingers along the spines of the books as she studied what was written on them. Some were in English, some Romanian but most were written in an ancient vampire language. Anna went to turn to face Henry, he was in front of her before she finished turning around.

Her heart was thumping in her chest as the excitement of being here in his home was something she never thought would happen. She rested her hand on his chest.

The thought of being in a Vampire city crept in but somehow she had a feeling she would be alright as long as she was in his arms.

"Why do you have a house to live in?"

"Did you expect us all to be hanging upside down off the ceilings like Bats?" Henry chuckled.

Smiling Anna hit his chest, he caught her hand with his and linked his fingers with hers, his other hand went around her waist and he started dancing with her.

"When we enter the grand hall for the ball everyone will be wearing masks so just keep looking at my chest when we dance or down towards the floor when you stand next to me. If Regan could see my desire for you from just one look everyone will too." He tilted her chin up to him. "I love you Anna, if I had a heart it would be torn in two if anything was to happen to you."

" Ok Henry, i will resist the desire to stare into your blood red eyes"

He gazed a little bit too long into her eyes, he had to close his eyes and he inhaled her scents catching her sweet honey elixir from between her legs, before Anna took in her next breath Henry had her up the stairs and into his bedroom. He was now thinking this was maybe a bad idea, would he be able to control himself around her?

"So you don't hang from the ceiling then, you have a bed to lie in." Anna chuckled.

"We don't really sleep, but we rest and I'd rather lie on something comfortable."

"So if I catch you with your eyes shut, you're not sleeping?"

"No we like to call it a resting stasis, you wouldn't be able to creep up on me and try and surprise me if that is what you were thinking."

Anna burst into laughter, she found it all a bit strange but nothing was really surprising to her. It was exactly what she had read and heard about. Especially in the pub where she worked, the town's people never seem to shut up about Vampires and the famous Vampire city Hades.

Henry glides her over to the bed and lies her down next to her, pushing her hair back off her shoulders, his fingers caress her skin. His eyes flash red, it's not only her blood he desires right now it is all of her. As if sensing his needs Anna moves her neck towards him.

"Take what you need Henry."

"Anna." His breath ragged whispered out. "I want all of you."

He watched the pupils in her eyes widen and her heartbeat speed up, pumping her delicious blood around her veins. His fangs protruded automatically, he couldn't control his burning need for her anymore and sank his teeth into her neck. Anna clutched hold of him and let out a soft moan as he sucked on her neck. He had one hand round the back of her head and moved over her, she opened her legs letting him nestle down in between them. His other hand slid up her leg moving the flowing skirt she had on out of the way, as his fingers brushed over her panties. Anna gasped loudly as he removed them along with his trousers, feeling her sweet honey already dripping, he sunk himself into her and savoured every moment.

Henry stopped feeding and moved across to her lips, as he kissed her, slipping his tongue in, Anna could taste the copper from her own blood, Henry was lost in his desire for her. Vampire's don't shed tears but Henry sensed a build up behind his eyes, it was the same when he was in the Palace with Emerald when the intensity of his emotions spilt out from inside him. He closed them and tried to control what was happening to him, his powerful thrusts sent Anna tipping her head back in an enchantment of blissful vibrations.

"Henry."

Her cry sent him over the edge, his eyes went wide before he sunk his fangs back into her neck, mainly to suppress the screech that was about to come out of his mouth. His whole body convulsed as he tensed up and released his seed into Anna once more.

Anna clung to the shirt which was still on his back as her orgasm took over her body as Henry's assertiveness kept going, his movements getting faster to the point where he lifted her up and slammed her against his wall. His eyes were clouded over with blood when he opened them a tear dropped down onto Anna's face. He let her down quickly and turned his face away not wanting her to see him, she caught his face in her hand and stroked his cheek.

"What's wrong?"

He brought his hand up to hold hers.

"I'm not sure, it's like something is happening to my whole body."

"Is it because of us?"

"I can't describe how I feel about you Anna, I love you."

"And I love you Henry." She placed his hand over her heart. "This beats only for you."

"Anna." Another drop fell from his eyes onto the floor and pain ripped through his body.

Anna held him in her arms and kissed his lips. "Henry."

He felt her heart beating, the vibrations of her body against his and found himself at peace once more. Taking in a few deep breaths he kissed her before resting his head against hers.
