Chapter 8 Freshers Party

Finally, it was fresher party day. We all were exciting as it was our first university party. Karan was a year senior to us. So, he was not coming. I was a bit upset about it.

But enthusiasm of party overwhelmed my sorrow.

Shruti wore a pink knee length dress with purple small flowers at the end and she left her curly hairs down.

Mayra's dress was also very beautiful. She wore red sleeveless dress and updo her hairs in a small bun.

I was wearing simple black satin dress with silver accessories. I did a little makeup and finished my look with black Stilettos.

I clicked a selfie and sent it to Karan. After that we were off to party.

When we reached there, party was already started and the performers were performing on stage.

After about couple of hours all performances were finished and there came the dance part where all were ready to dance like crazy.

We were also dancing with the music. When a server came to me and gave me a note.

In the note, it was written "I am waiting for you backside of library, come quickly. Karan"

After reading the note when I lifted my head, the server wasn't there.

I quickly scanned my surroundings. After spotting Shruti and Mayra I went to them and told them that Karan had called me backside of library.

First, they protested a little only to tease me. But soon they agreed and went towards the library.

Little did I know that I was slowly going towards danger.

When I reached there, I saw no one. The surroundings were dead silence. The sun has already set. So, the only source of the light was the bulb hanging on the wall.

"Karan, where are you?" I asked while feeling little creepy inside.

I decided to give a call to him. When I took my phone to call him, then suddenly a hand came from my behind and covered my mouth.

I panicked and tried to remove the hand as I know the person who covered my mouth is not Karan.

In panic, I don't know when my mobile fell down.

I tried to cry for help, but only muffled sounds can be occurred.

Then suddenly that person started to drag me towards darker corner. My heart was beating crazily against my ribcage by thinking about the possibilities.

Karan POV:

I was staring at the picture Amayra has sent to me. She was looking damn sexy in that black outfit. She wore only earrings and left her long neck bare.

I was out with my friends. When I returned in my apartment, I was feeling so lonely.

Then I took my phone and started to see her pictures. She was looking breath taking.

First, I decided to let her enjoy party without any disturbance. But now I am missing her so much that I can live without hearing her voice.

I dialled her number, but it kept ringing. I dialled again but then it was switched off. I frowned slightly.

I dialled her friend Mayra's number. She picked it after three rings.

"hello", she said while breathing heavily. She must be dancing.

"Hey Mayra, Karan here. Where is Amayra. She is not answering my calls". asked her.

There was silence for few seconds when she spoke.

"What are you talking about? She went to meet you at the backside of library. You called for her". She said worriedly.

My heart stop for a second. I felt dread after listening to her.

"How has she gone?" I asked her while sounding calm.

I didn't want them to worry while I am not sure about anything.

"She has gone almost for ten minutes". As she said I cut the call and race towards the library.

Library was almost at five minutes distance. But I covered it in two minutes. When I reached there. I saw no one there. I looked around but there was no one.

Then I saw a phone on ground. I picked it up. It was Amayra's.

Fear rose in my heart as I started to look for her crazily.

Then I heard some sounds in dark. I ran towards the sound and what I saw made me go crazy.

After seeing the scene in front of me all I saw was red. My hands were started to itch kill somebody.
