Chapter 3 TRAPPED.

The wind blew gently outside as people walked to and fro in the conference room. Most people were there to see their favorite actors and actresses and how they told their tale. Lucy had made up her mind to leave the conference unannounced, but a message had popped on her phone and she needed to stay back or, perhaps, reply the message. She tiptoed to the bathroom and found Clara staring at the mirror and then at her.

"Seems someone is up to something" miss Lucy began standing close to her and dressing her hair. Clara did not reply but stepped aside.

"Speak up now!" she pressed on.

"You don't want to create a scene, here do you? Drama queen" Clara snapped and miss Lucy Chuckled. These two were at it again, but Clara didn't seem like someone who was up for a fight.

"Stop acting all nice! You're the villain..." she boasted while Clara frowned.

"Would you calm that ego of yours and hear what I have to say!?" Clara whispered, after a while of contemplating, miss Lucy followed Clara who walked into a guest room. She wondered what this woman wants now.

"Speak up!" she ordered, rubbing her palms.

"Turn down the contract" Clara stated with a serious look. Miss Lucy laughed hysterically and dropped her purse on the table and walked slowly towards Clara.

"Why? Someone is jealous of me and can't handle it"

"I've got my reasons! You better do what won't get you into trouble". Clara threatened.

"Never! You are always going to be a riffraff! And will never reach me! Old witch" miss Lucy mocked with pride.

"Stop calling me that! Have some respect!"

"Those dreams of yours would never come true as long as I am here!' miss Lucy raged on.

"Shut up stupid!" Clara beckoned and miss Lucy scoffed.

"Did you just call me that? How dare you old rag..."

"Argh!" Clara yelled and pulled miss Lucy's hair, who pushed Clara.

"Disgusting! Stay away from me!" miss Lucy roared, straightening her hair and gazed at the door intending to leaving but Clara sudden laughter made her stop.

"You wouldn't want your career to end, do you?" Clara whispered, and miss Lucy narrowed her eyebrows at her.

"Be specific fool!". Miss Lucy gave her a daring glare.

"I know your little secret" Clara muttered as miss Lucy scoffed.

"I doubt so... you're the least being that knows about me...am not scared of your threat" miss Lucy snapped boiling with fury. She was ready to blast this woman with abusive words. She was definitely bad at blackmailing and if it was true, she knew her way of eliminating such.

"Don't tempt me lady" Clara cautioned, drawing close to miss Lucy who moved backwards towards the door.

"You can't do anything!" she pressed.

"Well let's rekindle old memories!" Clara reckoned and stopped her trail, while miss Lucy looked at her confused and nervous.

"Speak up now!"

Alisha and Rodney got to a room and while she was about to open the door, he kissed her wildly, and she moaned mischievously.

"Hey let's go in" she whispers and licked her lips with fixed eyes on him.

"You turn me on with that look of yours". She suddenly gasped as she saw miss Lucy coming out of a room opposite her.

"That's my superior, she can't see me here" she wailed worried trying to open the door knob when Rodney stopped her.

"Wait... look at her, doesn't she look suspicious?" he observed as Alisha turned her gaze to miss Lucy, who was looking to and fro.

"Yes, her hands..." she paused, they both looked at themselves and then at miss Lucy who had walking away.

"Let's not concern ourselves with such" he diverted and tried kissing her again, but she shoved his face aside with her palm and ran towards miss Lucy's direction.

"Damn that girl!" Rodney lamented, rubbing his lips.

Miss Lucy ran as fast as she could and dashed out of the building, but she had forgotten her purse, but that doesn't matter, she just has to leave.

Julie hasn't slept yet, she was up all night waiting to hear miss Lucy's voice before going to bed. It was already 12am, and it seemed like her eyes couldn't control the sleep that lurked in. She was drowsy when she heard her door opened slightly, Julie shut her eyes tightly and turned to the other side of the bed. Miss Lucy inhaled heavily as she gazed at Julie, who was asleep to her. She sat on her comfy bed and covered her with her blanket, which was halfway underneath her legs.

"Sleep tight and stop blinking your eyes" she said with a shaky voice. Julie opened her eyes, frowning.

"Could you stop interfering in my dreams" she snapped and rolled over with her back facing miss Lucy.

"How was your day..." Julie mumbled. Miss Lucy stood up without saying a word and closed the door behind her.

"Like though she cares" miss Lucy muttered and paced to her room. Julie stood up and ran towards the door to lock it. If miss Lucy wasn't going to say anything nice to her, then she shouldn't bother coming to spy on her. Julie often wonders why this pride looking woman always sneak to her room at night like a thief to spy on her. She recalled when she mistook her as a thief and screamed on top of her voice. It was a good thing miss Lucy held her mouth with her palm.

"Stop blinking your eyes" Julie mimicked and cat walked just like miss Lucy towards her bed.

"I can't even call her mother!" she yelled with a sober tone.

"I am miss Lucy drama queen" she teased and chuckled like her and stared at the mirror.

"Well sorry to burst your bubble miss because I miss Julie..."

"I can hear you witchy...go to sleep and stop gossiping on a celebrity!" miss Lucy yelled from outside and Julie covered her mouth with shock. Why was she eavesdropping? She quickly climbed to her bed and slept.
