Chapter 8 Colin and Tami Were Flirting with Each Other

After all, Rachel and Colin were so close during this period. The reporters frequently photographed that Colin had brought Rachel to various dinner parties. Moreover, the apartment where Rachel was currently living was a gift from Colin.

Colin didn't admit it. Of course, everyone in Sea City knew that he had got married. So naturally he dared not admit it publicly. Nor was there a denial from him.

Old Master Murphy took out a copy of Leonardo da Vinci's painting "The Baptism Christ", which was copied by someone in the American Civil War Period. He unfolded it carefully. They stood in front of the table and stared at the painting for quite a long time.

Although the painting was a copy by a successor, it was a good one. Even its inscriptions and patterns were so vivid that it could be sort of considered as a genuine treasure.

It wasn't until at nine o'clock in the evening that Old Master Murphy felt somewhat sleepy. So Lola said goodnight to him and left the study room. As she was near the entrance of the staircases, she heard Colin's and Tami's laughter all of a sudden.

Although she hadn't been here quite often, she knew that the room near the entrance of the staircases had once been a wedding room for Tami and Charles Murphy, where Charles had become ill and died back then.

After Charles passed away, Old Master Murphy thought of the room as an ill-fated one and prepared a new room for Tami.

However, unexpectedly, Tami refused to move out, saying that she had shared many beautiful memories with Charles there, which made Sophie quite touched.

And now, were Tami and Colin... flirting there?

Oh no, they might not be flirting. They might be just having a normal conversation. But the laughter sounded somewhat too pleasant, which made Lola somewhat uncomfortable.

The look on Sophie's face changed immediately as she heard Lola's words. She tugged at her throat and shouted in a hurry, "Colin - Tami - hurry down and eat the fruit... "

No one upstairs answered.

Lola held back her smile and went over to the couch to get her handbag with a relaxed look on her face, intending to leave.

Unexpectedly, she dropped her handbag on the floor accidentally. And the contents of the bag fell out and scattered all over the floor. So she had to squat down and pick them up one by one.

When she got up, she felt dizzy and held onto the chair in a hurry. As soon as she caught a breath, all in front of her went black suddenly. "Poof!" She fell right onto the couch.
