Chapter 2 Wild Cat

Leaning against the edge of the table, Malcolm held a wine glass in his hand and glared at the middle-aged man. After taking a sip of the wine, he put the glass on the table before he slowly walked towards Lucia.

"Where are you from? How dare you covet the woman I am after?" The middle-aged man staggered, as though he was going to fight Malcolm.

Ignoring him, Malcolm went straight to Lucia and hugged her.

"How dare a toy boy like you be so arrogant in front of me? I will make you pay!" the middle-aged man shouted. It was obvious that he was drunk.

"I'll give you a chance to leave right now," Malcolm warned him with a frown. There was a hint of disgust in his tone.

Instead of appreciating Malcolm's kindness, the middle-aged man walked towards him arrogantly. He was holding a beer bottle in his hand as a threat. However, the next second, several husky men stopped him.

Lucia's curiosity was aroused as soon as she saw that. She glanced at Malcolm and then at the men who were holding the middle-aged man back.

The middle-aged man proudly raised his beer bottle as though he was invincible. "You think you're the only one who has bodyguards? I also have my men."

Several men, who were just as ugly and fat as the middle-aged man, walked up to him. They were his subordinates.

Both parties began confronting each other. The owner of the bar rushed to them and whispered something in the middle-aged man's ear. The next instant, his face paled, and he took a step back.

"Leaving so soon?" Malcolm asked coldly.

The middle-aged man stopped dead in his tracks and broke into a cold sweat as he began to beg for mercy. "I was blind! Please forgive me."

When his subordinates saw that, they also began to beg for mercy.

"Roll out of the bar!" Malcolm was not soft-hearted to those who did not know to appreciate his kindness.

The middle-aged man squatted down and rolled towards the entrance of the bar. His men did the same.

Lucia could not help but burst into laughter when she saw how ridiculous they looked. She turned to look at Malcolm and thanked him. She then glanced at his hand, which was on her shoulder. "Can you take your hand off me now?"

"I saved you, and you're not going to repay me?" Malcolm asked as he moved his hand away.

"What do you want?"

Malcolm did not answer her question. He escorted her to a private room nearby.

After closing the door shut behind them, he held Lucia's waist with one hand, placed his other hand behind her neck, and kissed her.

Lucia opened her mouth and gasped. Taking this opportunity, he penetrated his tongue into her mouth and took control of her lips.

Under his passionate and fierce kiss, Lucia trembled before she fell numb. His hands wandered all over her body.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and began to kiss him back.

Malcolm pressed her down on the sofa.

Lucia was completely fascinated and aroused by his kiss. Thinking of his bodyguards and the way he saved her, she figured that he was not as simple as he looked.

Lucia tried to figure him out because she did not want to get into trouble.

Malcolm wouldn't let her leave at the moment. Under his strong body, Lucia found it impossible to move.

She wanted to lower his guard, so she put her hand in his shirt, stroked his chest, and slowly started unbuttoning his shirt. She then moved her hand to his waist and unbuckled his belt before she took off his pants. She was about to touch his erection.

Malcolm was breathing quickly. Lucia used the opportunity to escape from his embrace.

"Oh, you wanna play hard-to-get, little wild cat," Malcolm chuckled.

Lucia glanced at him before she walked towards the door with a calm look. She clenched her sweaty fists.

Malcolm also clenched his fists. No woman had never fooled him like that before.

Lucia walked out of the bar with her luggage and let out a deep sigh.

The tension and excitement in her heart slowly dissipated.

She walked along the river and looked at the night sky in silence. The cool night breeze caressed her skin, making her long strapless bohemian dress flow. Her long black hair also danced in the wind.

Feeling cold, Lucia tried to warm up by rubbing her palms against her bare arms.

Looking at all the couples around her, she was having mixed feelings.

A huge screen on the other side of the river was broadcasting the latest news.

"The Gomez Properties seems to have encountered financial problems recently. The reports say that the beloved daughter of the CEO of the Gomez Properties, Mina Gomez, is to marry Jonah Tumer, the general manager of the company. They seem like a perfect match. I believe that their union will help the company get through their difficult time..."

Soon there were pictures of Mina and Jonah displayed on the screen. Everyone who saw that, sighed in admiration for the couple. However, Lucia felt that they were revolting to look at.

Lucia had been loyal to Jonah in their seven-year-long relationship. And the worst part was that she did not even know when he had started seeing Mina. Thinking of that, she could not help but laugh at her stupidity.

She had seen them having sex with her own eyes. She had never thought that she would catch her beloved Jonah cheating on her.

She had given up a lot of good opportunities in her life because she loved him and wanted to be with him. She had been a good girlfriend for so many years, but in the end, he betrayed her. 'Screw you, Jonah Tumer!' Lucia cursed him in her mind.

Once she calmed down a little, she walked to the side of the road to stop a taxi.

"Wild cat, what's up? Are you really going to leave me after turning me on?"

Upon hearing the familiar voice, Lucia stopped in her tracks. She turned around and saw Malcolm.

With a frown, she looked at Malcolm, who was standing casually with his hands in his pockets.

He walked up to her and lifted her chin with one hand. It appeared as though he was flirting with her.

"Seems that you are interested in me." Lucia said calmly.

All of a sudden, Malcolm bent over and kissed her. She took a step back nervously. He did not want to let her escape again, so he held her in his arms. After a gentle peck on the lips, he moved his lips to her neck and kissed her passionately. He occasionally licked her earlobe with the tip of his tongue.

Lucia bit her lip in an attempt to prevent herself from making a sound. She was fighting back her urge to kiss him back.

Malcolm ignored Lucia's fake calmness as he sucked on her neck so hard that a red mark appeared on her skin. He then kissed her on the lips, but he did it slowly to stop her from letting out a groan.

Lucia's suitcase slipped from her hand and fell to the ground. She couldn't help but put her hands around his waist.

Under the effect of the alcohol, she was completely aroused. And she couldn't refuse him anymore.

"Come with me," Malcolm whispered into Lucia's ear as he looked at her seductively.
