Chapter 3 Looking for Yana

After sprinkling chicken blood on the bedsheet, the woman started taking photos of both of them and the messy condition of the room. Meanwhile, the man began recording Yana and Indra's faces and the room's current state. After everything was done, they signaled each other. Knowing their boss's plan had succeeded, the people immediately left the room and went downstairs. They left the bar through the back door so no one else would know what they had done. Their accomplice had also controlled the CCTV room, so there would be no evidence later.

"Everything is done! Let's leave this place immediately!" whispered one of the attack coordinators. Slowly, the people started to retreat. It turned out that Nino and Kaleb were genuinely skilled in self-defense, as they were unbeatable. "Hey, losers! Why are you leaving?" Nino shouted angrily. "Cowards!" Kaleb joined in, feeling annoyed.

However, the departure of the troublemakers relieved the bar owner. The security guards had also intervened, but they couldn't separate the two fighting parties. Meanwhile, Anggi and Cici started to panic as they couldn't find Yana, who they didn't know where she was. "Anggi! Where is Yana? Why did she suddenly disappear?" Cici asked her friend. "I don't know either, Ci. Let's look for her. She said she was going to the toilet earlier," Anggi replied. "Alright, let's hurry!" The two girls began searching for Yana in the toilet area, but they couldn't find her. They were apprehensive about Yana's whereabouts. However, they were hindered from searching for their friend due to the fight inside the bar. Fortunately, the battle had ended, so Cici and Anggi started looking for Yana. However, they couldn't find her. "What should we do, Anggi? Where else should we look for Yana?" Anggi asked her friend. "I don't know, I'm confused too. Could it be that Yana has been kidnapped?" Cici exclaimed. "Come on, don't think like that! Let's not jump to conclusions," Anggi scolded. "Then where is Yana? Why did she suddenly disappear?" Cici asked, panicking.

"Oh, Ci. What if your guess is correct? What if Yana has been kidnapped?" she said to her friend.

"We need to report everything to the authorities immediately!" Cici exclaimed.

"But, isn't it true that reporting a missing person should wait for at least twenty-four hours?" Anggi said.

"Yes, you're right, Anggi," Cici agreed.

"So what do we do now?" Anggi also expressed concern about Yana's whereabouts.

"What if we ask the people inside this bar?"

"That's a good idea, Ci. Alright, let's go," Anggi invited her friend.

They started asking the people inside the bar, showing them a photo of Yana on their phones.

The atmosphere in the twenty-four-hour bar returned to normal after the fight a few moments ago.

Cici and Anggi had been asking about Yana and showing her photos. But no one knew where she was.

Then they asked Nino about Yana, sitting and resting after the fight.

"Excuse me, sir. Have you ever seen this woman in the photo?" Cici asked him.

"Who is this woman, miss?" Nino asked in return.

"She's my friend. Her name is Yana."

Nino took Cici's phone and looked at the woman's face.

"I think I recognize the woman in this photo, but where have I seen her before?" he muttered.

"What's wrong with the woman in this photo?" Nino asked again. Then Anggi explained the chronology of Yana's disappearance.

"Have you looked for her anywhere in this bar?" Nino exclaimed to both of them.

"Yes, sir. But we couldn't find her."

"Have you checked the rooms in this bar? The guest list? Your friend might be staying in one of the rooms in this bar. Especially since you said she was heavily drunk," Nino suggested, opening up the girls' minds.

"Oh, we didn't think of that, Ci?"

"Alright, let's go. Let's search for Yana in the guest list of the rooms," said Cici.

"Sorry, miss. I can't help you both. You must know my current condition," Nino said, looking half-beaten.

The man was compressing some swollen parts of his face with ice. Meanwhile, Kaleb, who had seen Yana with Indra, was seen lying on the sofa, apparently asleep.

With the help of the bar manager, Cici and Anggi began searching for Yana's name in the guest list. But there was none.

Both friends started to feel anxious and restless. Especially since Yana didn't bring anything when she went to the toilet. Yana's phone and bag were with them now.

"Sir, can we check each room in this bar?" Anggi started negotiating.

"Oh, miss. About checking the rooms. That seems impossible. We also protect the privacy of our guests. Besides, you both have seen that your friend's name is not on the guest list for the rooms," the manager explained.

"But, sir. It's possible that my friend reserved the room using someone else's name. She can't disappear in this bar, right suddenly?" Cici exclaimed loudly.

"In that case, you both can reserve one of the rooms. Who knows, tomorrow morning, you can continue searching for your friend," the bar manager suggested to them.

Reluctantly, Cici and Anggi followed the bar manager's suggestion.

They started reserving one of the rooms in the bar.

Meanwhile, in an apartment, a mysterious man felt delighted seeing the work of his subordinates tonight.

"We have done everything according to your instructions, sir. We have to wait until tomorrow morning. The news will start spreading, and it will be very sensational," one of his henchmen exclaimed.

"Great! Your work is awe-inspiring, and I appreciate it! You will receive many bonuses!" he exclaimed to his subordinates.

The people instantly cheered with joy upon hearing their boss's words. Finally, they could feel the abundance of money coming their way.

The mysterious man clenched his fists while muttering,

"Feel my revenge, Indra! This time, neither you nor your family members can escape! You will experience rejection with your new position that you haven't had the chance to enjoy!" he shouted.
