Chapter 2 Two

The whole night felt strongly odd everything was going to fail.

"Honey," Hugo called rushing towards her with a smile on his face.

The whole thought of fear suddenly washed away as he gathered her in his hands, in a tight hug.

"I missed you," She cried, wrapping one hand around his neck while the other was holding the drink firm.

"Stop lying," He joked, kissing her forehead; Mia rolled her eyes.

"Here, the night is..."

"Hugo!!" A loud voice of a lady calling Hugo's name.

"Let's go inside," He said hurriedly, pushing stunned Mia towards the door, but before they could go far, the ladies were already standing right in front of them. They were three in number

"Come on, Hugo, if you're going to pick up a girl after running out on us like that, then you must be joking," One of them scoffed, trying to balance her feet on the floor. It was obvious she was high.

"What's she talking about?" Mia asked looking from Hugo's pale face to the ladies.

"What's there not to understand? Hugo just abandoned us for his stupid fiancée, whom he hates so much," She sniffed. "Our threesome," She cried drunkenly.

"Three..." Mia started, but her head wasn't letting her. All she wanted to do was pounce on Hugo. But she was confused by what she was hearing. ' Hugo hates her?' What does that mean? She looked at the ladies and then at Hugo who looked lost for words.

"Honey, I can explain," Hugo said, finally getting his voice.

"Explain?... Explain?... Fine, go on, explain," She calmly urged, like her whole body wasn't on fire, both from fear of what she was about to hear and from the thing she had taken.

"I didn't do it... It was just a," He stuttered.

"Stop being a pussy Hugo and come clean. If she's your fiancée, then it's all good. She should know you hate her and just want her money," The third lady said, holding Hugo's shirt.

"Stop!! What's wrong with you, Ayra? Do you know you're ruining everything for me," Hugo yelled, pushing her hands off.

"I'm so stupid," Mia slurred. The heat between her legs was killing her as she stood. The thought of the love of her life cheating wasn't even bothering her what was more pressing was the urge to have sex. She wasn't herself at that moment.

"Are you okay?" Hugo asked, noticing the sweat, but she pushed his hands off, weakly walking into the bar.

She heard Hugo trying to call her back, but she was past that, and she needed something to calm herself, or else she might just go mad. She walked back into the hotel as fast as she could.

"I'm done for," She cried, rubbing her thigh together. It wasn't until her eyes caught sight of someone sitting not too far from her. First, she was staring at him with longing, and then she was walking towards him, the drink still in her hands.

"You look lonely," Mia said, looking down drowsily at the stranger who had his legs crossed, staring at her blankly.

"Here, why don't you drink this? Let's have fun. It will be great I promise. I am all for fun, after all. Don't worry, it won't kill you. It'll just make the night better," She giggled, stretching the glass towards him and rubbing her thighs together.

One look at her outstretched hands holding the glass, and the way she was trying to steady herself told enough that she looked hurt and drugged.

But what could one spiked drink do?

He got up in one swift movement and grabbed the glass, emptying its contents.

His lips moved to her earlobe, whispered "We should start now shawdy else I might be having you on the table,"

His smirk deepened against her lips as an unrecognizable moan escaped Mia's parted lips; to Mia, it was a million times what Hugo couldn't give.

They both clung to each other hungrily. Mia was kissing to forget, while he was kissing to remember.

"Not here, not here," Mia muttered breathlessly into the kiss when she felt his hands going under her gown, but he didn't listen.

"No," She cried again.

But he was also lost. Who was this female who had walked up to him on a platter of gold? Free of charge. Or was it the drink?

His hands trailed along her exposed lap to her middle. He caressed the soft spot his hands touched, then a smirk crept out of his face.

No panties.

The smile still Intact on his face, he broke the kiss, connecting his lips with her Jawline, Neck, Shoulders, and then the part of her breast that was exposed.

"Please, I'm dying but not here," Mia choked, her eyes closed.

Without replying, he lifted her effortlessly, her legs wrapped around his waist instinctively.

"Fuck," He cursed when he felt her pussy rubbing his staff. Going for the door to a private room in the area.

He whispered into her ears "I love this drugs," before shutting the door behind them.

~ NEXT MORNING ~

*Ring*

*Ring*

"Hello," Mia answered blindly.

"Mia, it's me, Hugo. Where are you, and why are you not home yet? I slept at your house, but you didn't come back. We need to talk, we..." Hugo gushed making Mia's headache increase.

Without waiting for him to finish what he was saying, she hung up, stretching and holding her head.

Her phone buzzed again causing her to groan. It was a message from Maja.

"Where in God's name are you Mia?"

Then Hugo's words rang in her head.

She didn't sleep at home then, where was she? Her eyes snapped open almost immediately, scanning the area, and then she caught sight of the male lying beside her.

His face was like that of a god. His red rose lips merged with his extremely long lashes and smooth face. She could remember vividly how she had gotten in bed with the demigod.

He was more than what she expected; yes, he was more, but too bad they couldn't have anything more than a nightstand.

She was still staring when his eyes snapped open. Without saying a thing to him she got up and started dressing up while he just stared at her, his face calm.

"Hmmm," She cleared her throat after dressing up. "What happened last night was normal, so you shouldn't add too much meaning to it," She said, trying to ease the tension, but he didn't reply or make any comments, just staring at her.

"I am sure you had fun, so it's fair to say we both benefited from each other," She continued; still no reply.

She hissed loud enough for him to hear, then dipped her hands in her small handbag, bringing out her golden card. "Here, this will settle everything right," She snapped, stretching it towards him.

"Your social class is high," He mouthed collecting the card with a smirk.
