Chapter 4 Flames of Vengeance

Aria's hands trembled, but her eyes burned with fierce determination. The shadows might have tried to break her, but instead they ignited a fire deep inside-a fire fueled by years of betrayal and loss. She would no longer be the victim of this cursed house.

Clutching the leather-bound journal, she turned to a marked page where a spell was written in hurried ink. The spell promised to summon an ancient power hidden within Raven Hollow, a power capable of bending shadows to her will and unleashing a force strong enough to destroy even the darkest enemies.

The words felt heavy on her tongue, but she began to chant, her voice steady despite the cold that wrapped around her like a living thing. As she spoke, the air grew thick and shimmered with an eerie light. Shadows from the corners stretched toward her like dark tendrils eager to obey.

Suddenly, energy exploded through the room. Flames of violet and midnight blue erupted along the walls, casting flickering light on Aria's resolute face. The house groaned as if enraged, but she stood firm, channeling the ancient magic.

Memories flooded her mind-the faces of those who had betrayed her family, their cruel laughter echoing in her thoughts. The thirst for revenge burned hotter than the spectral flames that surrounded her.

With a fierce cry, Aria unleashed the shadows. They surged forward, twisting and writhing like serpents, seeking out darkness in the corners of the manor and beyond. The house trembled as her power grew, shaking the very foundations of Raven Hollow.

Tonight, the hunted would become the hunter, and Aria's vengeance would not rest until every secret was unearthed and every wrong was avenged.
