Chapter 3 Love at first sight

But just as she thought all was lost, a strong hand grasped her wrist, pulling her back into a firm, warm chest. Monalisa's heart skipped a beat as she felt the gentle yet firm pressure of the stranger's grip. As she looked up, her gaze met piercing blue eyes that sparkled with concern.

Sebastian's chiseled features softened, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled reassuringly. "Try to be careful there," he whispered, his breath whispering against her ear. Monalisa's cheeks flushed as she felt a flutter in her chest.

Sebastian's grip on her wrist loosened, but he didn't let go. Instead, he smiled again, his eyes sparkling with kindness. "Anytime," he said, his voice low and smooth. As Monalisa's heart still racing, she felt a sense of calm wash over her, Sebastian's presence seeming to chase away the tension and fear.

Suddenly, Sebastian's expression turned serious, and he walked away slowly, leaving Monalisa standing there, blushing. She couldn't believe what had just happened. The way he held her, the way he looked at her, it all felt so surreal.

"Monalisa, can we go home now?" Valerie asked, but Monalisa seemed lost in thought. Valerie moved closer, tapping Monalisa on the shoulder. "Ye...yes, what's up?" Monalisa replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

Valerie smiled knowingly. "What's making you blush, Monalisa?" she teased, pulling Monalisa's face closer. Monalisa's cheeks turned red, and she smiled romantically. "I think the love of my life and I have finally met. He seems to be deeply in love with me," she said, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Valerie's eyes widened in surprise. "Girl, can you indulge me? Make me understand please," she asked, her voice filled with amusement. Monalisa giggled, her eyes shining with happiness.

"He saved me! When I turned to see who it was, behold my dream man! The fragrance that comes out of his body is Angelica, his palms were so soft, and his breath that touched my skin when he spoke to me was breathtaking. Whoooo, I'm so exciting!"

Valerie burst out laughing. "The way you sound amuses me! Sebastian Delton held your hand. No way," she teased, doubting Monalisa's story. Monalisa ran after her, laughing. "Believe me, I'm damn serious, Valeria. He helped me, that's the truth!"

Valerie giggled, teasing Monalisa about her crush. "Lover girl!" she called out, chasing Monalisa as they walked to their hostel. Monalisa playfully hit Valerie's arm, her face still flushed from the encounter with Sebastian.

As they walked, Monalisa couldn't stop thinking about Sebastian. The way he smiled, the way he held her, it all felt so perfect. She felt like she was floating on air, her heart racing with excitement.

Valerie noticed Monalisa's dreamy expression and teased her some more. "You're really smitten, aren't you?" she asked, grinning. Monalisa nodded, her eyes shining with happiness. "I think I am," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

The two friends continued walking, laughing and joking about Monalisa's crush on Sebastian. As they approached their hostel, Monalisa felt a sense of excitement and anticipation. She couldn't wait to see Sebastian again, to talk to him, to get to know him better.

And as she walked into her hostel room, she couldn't help but feel a sense of hope and possibility. "Maybe, just maybe, I have found the love of my life in Sebastian Delton" she said delightedly. "Ohh! I see" Valerie retorted with a smile.

The soft glow of the night light in the hostel room cast a warm ambiance, illuminating the dark shadows, with only the faint sound of crickets chirping outside breaking the silence. Monalisa and Valerie lay in their respective beds, each lost in their own thoughts.

Monalisa's eyes fluttered closed, and she drifted off to sleep. But her subconscious had other plans. In her dream, she found herself standing in a snowy landscape, surrounded by towering trees that seemed to stretch up to the sky. Sebastian, her crush, stood beside her, his piercing blue eyes sparkling with amusement.

"I'm so glad we're here together," Sebastian said, his voice low and husky.

Monalisa smiled, feeling a rush of happiness. "Me too," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

They were chanting and laughing together, their voices echoing through the forest. Monalisa's laughter was so vivid that it seemed to spill over into the real world. Valerie, who had been staring at the ceiling, suddenly sat up in bed, her eyes fixed on Monalisa.

"Monalisa, what's wrong?" Valerie whispered, but Monalisa didn't respond. She was too caught up in her dream.

In the dream, Sebastian moved closer to Monalisa, his face inches from hers. "I've wanted to do this for so long," he said, his breath whispering against her skin.

Monalisa's heart skipped a beat as he leaned in, his lips brushing against hers in a gentle kiss. The snowflakes fell around them, casting a magical spell over the scene.

As they kissed, Monalisa felt a rush of emotions, her heart soaring with happiness. She wrapped her arms around Sebastian's neck, deepening the kiss.

In the real world, Valerie's eyes widened in surprise. Monalisa's body began to mimic the movements of her dream, her lips pursing and releasing in a gentle motion. Her hands moved up to her face, as if she was touching Sebastian's cheek.

Valerie's curiosity got the better of her, and she moved closer to Monalisa's bed. She sat down beside Monalisa, her eyes fixed on her face. Monalisa's eyes were closed, her face flushed with excitement.

Valerie tapped Monalisa's mouth gently, and Monalisa's eyes flew open. She was breathing heavily, her face still flushed with excitement.

"Monalisa, what's going on?" Valerie asked, her voice low and concerned.

Monalisa's eyes darted around the room, taking a moment to register her surroundings. "I...I had a dream," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.

Valerie's expression softened. "What happened in the dream?"

Monalisa's cheeks turned pink as she recounted her dream. "Sebastian and I were in a snowy forest, and we kissed. It felt so real."

Valerie's eyes sparkled with amusement. "That's quite a dream."

Monalisa's blush deepened. "I know, right? It felt like I was really there."

Valerie smiled and stood up. "I'm going back to bed. You should try to sleep too."

Monalisa nodded, still feeling the lingering effects of her dream. As Valerie settled back into her bed, Monalisa lay back down, her fingers touching her lips.

"I felt like I was really kissing him," Monalisa whispered to herself, a small smile playing on her lips.

The room fell silent once again, with only the sound of crickets chirping outside breaking the stillness. Monalisa's eyes drifted closed, her mind replaying the dream over and over again.

As she drifted off to sleep, a small smile remained on her lips, and her fingers remained pressed against her mouth, as if savoring the memory of the kiss.
