Chapter 4 SEDUCING

Bryce's gaze turned towards the door, and his expression changed again, this time to one of alarm. Lina's eyes followed him, and her confusion deepened.

She panicked, kicking Bryce out of the bed. He fell on his butt, wincing in pain.

The female voice came again hastily, and she kept knocking.

"What is wrong Bryce? Hello!! Are you okay?"

"What are you doing here?" Lina managed to say.

"I should be asking you, "How did you get in here?" He dragged her from the bed, she tried to pull off from his tight grip.

He lifted her up, placing his hands on her laps.

Carrying her to the cloak room

"Stay in here," He opened his wardrobe, and pushed her in.

"No, I don't want to. Why should I hide?" She stubbornly tries to come out from the wardrobe.

"It's my girlfriend outside. How do I explain this to her?" Pointing at her.

"Just stay in there okay?"

He walked away back to the room, but his girlfriend already opened the door. She stood staring at his shirtless body, her eyes devouring his perfect body.

"Didn't I tell you not to enter my room without my permission?" His voice was flat like he wasn't panicking a minute ago.

"I..I.. I am..sorry. You didn't answer, that's why I used the spare key. I heard some noise and I thought something happened to you. " She answered, her voice filled with guilt.

"Kate, I told you so many times that my room is not your father's house. You can't open at your will."

Suddenly a sound was heard in the cloak room.

"What's that?" She asked, her face filled with suspicion.

She tries to walk over, but Bryce blocked her.

"Kate, you can leave now."

Her face turned sour as she turned to the door. She twisted the door knob but suddenly stopped.

"Baby, I heard Ives' friend is here. Ives went up to her room to call her."

"She didn't tell me she was bringing a stranger to the house. Ives doesn't give me a little respect, she acts like I am nothing."

"I am sorry about that, I will talk to her."

"Can you go now?" He answered, pointing to the door.

"I am sorry," she opened the door and left.

Bryce took a deep breath and fell on the bed, hugging the pillow to calm his mind.

"Who was that?" Lina asked, he sprang up from the bed.

"Are you Ives' friend?"

"Yes,"

"Ives went upstairs to wake you up for breakfast." He said with a smirk on his cheeks. "I remembered your room was upstairs. Why are you in my room?"

"What?" Lina's eyes widened in fear, she dashed for the door.

"If you open that door one of the maids will see you." He warned.

"There is another way through my back door, don't worry. We have a lot to discuss, Lina." He grabs her hands, she yanks it off. He pulls her on her waist, her head on his chest.

"I have nothing to say," Lina looked away embarrassed. Her cheeks burned red as his warm breath brushed against her ears, he raised her jaw looking into her eyes.

"Did you approach my daughter just to get to me? Was all this your plan? To sleep with me and still go after my Daughter? Who sent you?" His eyes locked into hers.

"From Berlin to Columbia, who sent you to me, little girl?"

"Are you okay? What are you saying? Are you drunk?" She bites his hand.

"Let me go!!"

"Go now and get caught by the maid. Then you will explain to Ives and my girlfriend what you are doing in my room by this time of the day. Cheap slut!!" His voice flat and nonchalant. He ignores her, walking to the cloakroom.

"Fuck You!!" Lina spat angrily.

"Dad, good morning." Ives said, her eyes on her phone. They all sat down to eat, as Bryce entered the dining room and took a seat.

"Table manners Ives, drop your phone and eat." Bryce barked, his voice echoed in the dinning.

Ives sighs deeply, everyone on the table heard.

Lina pinches her, she hits Lina's hand.

"Lina, my Dad Bryce. You can call him dad too." Ives suggested, her voice casual, but the implication lingered in the air.

Ives' words caught Lina off guard and she almost choked from the water. When their eyes met Bryce smirked at her, she blushed looking away from him.

"Why?" She asked surprised.

"Call him Daddy, I told you my dad is your Dad from now on."

"Are you okay with that dad? Lina lost her parents in an accident in Berlin. I just want her to have a fatherly figure in her life just like me." Ives said, with a pleading tone.

Lina flashed a sad smile, her heart skipped a beat hearing those words.

"I am fine Ives,"

"Just call him Daddy, there is nothing wrong with him," Kate said, as she dropped a bowl of fried chicken.

"Who is this for?" Ives asked, her tone irritated.

"You always ask for fried chicken, that's why I made this." Kate replied, her tone calm yet annoyed.

"I don't like it, Dad, can you tell her not to prepare food for me? If she wants to prepare for you she can. But not for me!!"

"Your friend can eat it then," Kate sat down, ignoring Ives' tantrum.

"No she can't , she doesn't like chicken. She only eats fish like Dad." Ives smiled, she took a fish and put it on Lina's plate.

Lina blurted out suddenly.

"Daddy," Lina purred, her voice low. But it sounded seductive in Bryce's ears. The mere sound of her voice sent shivers down his spine, his fork fell to the ground.

Lina's voice sent an electric charge through him, he couldn't help but to feel aroused by the way she addressed him. At that moment he made up his mind to send Lina out of his house to avoid future problems.
