As much as Jaden had a long list of women lining up to feed his sexual desires, he still doesn't like the female gender. He only uses them as his fuck toy and dumps them. Nothing else.
"She's on her way sir, I'm sure that there's traffic so that's why she hasn't turned up yet." she explained. She heaved a sigh of relief. At least she had been able to salvage the situation.
Jaden hissed and disconnected the call. It was pointless to keep on talking anyways.
Jaden took a good look at the state of his room after he had ended the call and scrowled in disdain.
The place was a complete mess.
After his all night sexcapede with the red haired bitch, he had expected the place to look messy, that's why he needed a housekeeper urgently.
His former one had left after meeting a new lover who had told her to stop her job and the eldest one he had in the house would not be able to handle the cleaning all by herself and that's why he took it into consideration to get a new housekeeper. Although the former lady was a hot lady, he had promised himself not to sexualize any of his workers. He preferred to call in the regular whores.
He'll just have to hope that the housekeeper resumes before he gets back from work; otherwise, he's going to make sure the Agency doesn't have another client in the future.
Bunch of crazy people.
Emily arrived at the big city after consoling and crying with everyone back at the countryside convent. She knew her other sisters would feel her absence but that wasn't going to stop her from chasing her dreams.
After leaving the convent, she booked a cab and they drove off after giving him the directions.
All through the drive, she couldn't sleep. She was so fascinated by the roads and fancy buildings, the streets and the cars, and the tall skyscrapers that felt like they're touching the sky.
At some point, she couldn't hold back her curiosity as she kept asking the driver if most of the building really got to the heavens. She had never been to the city in twenty years. Although she had seen tall buildings like this, that was about twenty years ago. She had not left the convent since then. Although she had heard stories from the older sisters back at the convent, it was nothing compared to her current view.
She decided there that she would definitely make a name for herself and made sure she became very successful.
The kind-hearted driver, seeing how strangely she observed the city, took it upon himself to explain things to her. He knew staying in the convent could make someone naive to the illicit things in the city. And judging by how she was, he knew such an innocent person would have a hard time blending in the city. He could only hope and pray that she finds what brought her to the city.
On getting to the agency, he helped her with her bags before bidding her farewell and good luck.
Emily looked at the entrance sign to confirm if she was at the right place before going inside.
On getting in, the busy environment caught her a bit off guard. She walked up to one of the women on the counter.
"Hello," A bright smile forming on her face. "I'm Emily..."
"You're the bitch that's supposed to resume work today?"
Emily was taken aback by the cold greeting from the woman in front of her but she decided to cover it up with a smile. She had taken no offence in the way the lady had responded to her.
"Yeah, that's me."
"And you're just arriving now. Ma'am is surely going to have your head for this." She hissed before placing a call across to her boss.
Emily's brows furrowed in confusion. What were they talking about?
Soon enough, a woman who looked like she was in her early thirties stepped out of the office and came to where she stood. The woman examined Emily's outfit. She would have commented on it if she had the time to do so but time wasn't on her side. She was already on fire as it is.
"Emily Silver?"
"That's me Ma'am." Emily responded.
"I was thinking of replacing you with another worker if you had come later than this but we'll just leave it that luck is on your side." The woman kept a straight face. She looked so elegant in her black aparell. "The person you're to work with is mad at you already, so try not to provoke him any further."
She tore a piece of paper and scribbled something on it. She handed it to me and I saw an address written on it.
"Twenty percent of your earnings goes to the Agency. I already cleared that aspect with your boss." She explained while Emily was trying to figure out whatever was written on the paper.
"Sorry ma'am, but how do I get there?" Emily asked innocently.
"Are you joking right now?"
"I'm really sorry ma," Emily quickly apologized after noticing how the woman's tone changed. "I've not been to the city, so I don't really know my way around here."
The woman scoffed.
"Just take a cab and hand over the address to the driver. The place you'll be working is a very popular place and almost everyone in the city knows it."
A smile formed on Emily's face as she thanked the woman profusely. She took her luggage and headed out of the office.
Everything was falling into place. It's only a matter of time.
Emily was finally able to get a cab after waving for about ten minutes. She gave the driver her address and he drove her to her destination.
After paying him, she picked her bags and stood at the entrance of the big building that looks like a palace. The sign in front of the gate 'Whitson' was spelt out in gold.
Whoever lives here is a very wealthy person and this was the kind of lifestyle she had dreamed of herself.
She mumbled a short word of prayer before making her way to the security.
