Chapter 4 Awareness

Valeria's cheeks reddens as she thinks of his hands on her body.

"Oh...no,I wouldn't like to be a bother to you" Valeria said.

"No,I decided to do it and I don't really need your permission" Noah said with a stern voice and turned Valeria's back to him.He shifted her long hair out of the way as he moved his hand towards the zipper.He slowly unzipped the gown revealing her bare back.

He cursed underneath his breath when his hand comes in contact with her milky skin and it seems that little touch is enough to ignite him. He felt his body harden in response and he swore again. He hates that he couldn't control his body and it's wants but he couldn't blame himself that much,no man would ever see this woman in front of him like this and not lose his senses.

After he had the zipper down,he moves his hands up to her shoulder and slowly pull down the gown away from her frail body.Noah felt Valeria stiffen at once.It was her first time of being with a man so she couldn't help but be scared.The only piece of clothing that kept her decency in place is a nude lace thong that matched with the color of her skin.

Noah watched with his eyes full of life.He doesn't want to do anything she doesn't want so he kept his cool although it seems his harden member has another plan altogether. He moved a few inches away from her back to avoid her feeling his manly part but then he still has to get her to the shower, he's already regretting this.

He sighs and then in one swift move, he carried her in his arms and walks towards the shower.He tries to ignore her naked body on his bare hands and how her face had lit up.Fifteen hours before then,he wouldn't have imagined he would be replacing his wife's maid position for their wedding night.

He landed her on the wet floor as her legs trembled.He knew sooner or later,he would have to draw down the incredibly sexy underwear Valeria had on so she could shower.

"Can you stand under the shower yourself"Noah asked with a deep and cold voice.

"I don't usually shower while standing,I had often sat in a bathtub"Valeria said with her hands still holding him.

"You should have warned me beforehand"He said.

"I'm sorry" Valeria apologized and Noah scowled.He hates her every minute apology and the innocent look she has on right there.What upsets him more is the fact that there was just two flimsy pieces of clothing separating his eyes from ravishing her body which were easy to rip apart in seconds but he won't let himself do that.

"Hold on to me" he ordered as he moved his hand over to her well shaped buttoks and slowly draw down the panties.He tried his possible best to not peek at her nakedness.Though he was a man of terrible rage,he's way righteous than to take an innocent woman against her will.

'She's my wife,she's legally mine' a voice roared inside his head that made him glare at nothing in particular.

He turns on the shower and the water begins to run on both of them.Noah still had his towel on while Valeria is completely naked next to him.She held him by the shoulder as her blind eyes searches for the direction where Noah was looking.She had no idea Noah had been staring intently at her like a starved Lion who could devour her whole.

The early morning sunlight rays slipped through the curtains that accentuated the luxurious bedroom.Valeria woke up and stretched her body lazily.

"Good morning ma'am"she heard a voice said beside the bed and she jumped up in fright.

"I'm sorry for scaring you ma'am, I'm Ava Davis,your new personal maid" Ava said with a bright smile though she knows Valeria couldn't see her.

"Oh...hi, it's nice to meet you" Valeria answered, and looked about, it seems it's only the two of them in the room, she couldn't feel another person's presence.

"Mr Owen went for a morning jog" Ava said and Valeria's face flushed as she recalls what almost happened but didn't happen yesterday. The way Noah had taken care of her last night still amazes her, Despite the fact that his voice had sounded harsh and venomous, they were the opposite of the gentle way he had touched and handled her like a porcelain doll. He had dressed her up and put her to bed without doing any inappropriate thing to her even though she felt he was probably holding himself back.

"I will go make your bath ma'am,what temperature would you prefer?" Ava asked.

"A little bit warmer than the normal temperature" Valeria said with a soft smile.

"Okay ma'am,I will be right back" Ava said.

"Thank you" Velaria said and Ava headed to the bathroom. Unknown to Valeria,hers and Noah's clothes from the night before had been scattered across the room,which will make someone who knows nothing about their relationship think they are really taking their honeymoon phase seriously.

When Ava noticed all the clothing articles on the floor, her face lits up and her cheeks redden with mortification. After Valeria's bath was made,she was guided by Ava to the wide expensive looking jacuzzi. After having a nice warm bath,Ava dressed her up in a blue floral gown that accentuated Valeria's skin.

"Breakfast had been made Mrs Owen,I will guide you downstairs" Ava said.She handed Valeria her walking stick that had been kept in the walk-in closet. Valeria felt a little bit relieved when her hand touched the stick. She had been deprived of it the day before which had made her more helpless than ever.

She walks down the stairs with Ava holding on to her arm. Ava pushed open a large door and it revealed the long refectory dinning table with Noah occupying the seat that signifies that he is the head of the house. Ava walked Valeria to a seat beside Noah.Only then did Valeria notice his presence in the room, the warm earthly smell that was uniquely his, the smell is stamped in her olfactory organ bonding her to stay still.
