She heard a snort behind her and saw through the mirror how her beloved nephew came out from among his costumes on the mobile clothes rack.
-How did college go this week? - Celeste asked.
-Well, I haven't taken my eyes off the books, when Kristal found out about my low grades, she almost killed me- she snarled sitting on one of the stools. The young girl laughed and turned to the boy, she could see the dark circles under his black eyes and felt sorry for him. But her older sister was right, if he wanted to be someone in life, he had to study hard.
-You know she does it because she wants the best for you.
-I know- she said with a pout.
-Wait a minute, this will cheer you up- The blonde took her silver sequin bag and took out the bills that Thomas had given her without taking any of them- Here...
-And this?
-For your medications, I promise to give you more, but this should be enough for at least the inhaler-
-Thank you aunt- exclaimed the young man hugging the blonde and making her spin in the air.
-Just don't tell your sister.
The boy nodded happily. At that moment the door swung open, he could barely hide the bills when he saw his sister enter the locker room.
-Tati! What are you doing bothering Celeste? Remember that you still have to finish a rehearsal for tomorrow.
-Yes, mom- the young man joked as he left the locker room, but not before kissing Celeste's cheek with emotion.
-And what's wrong with him? - the young woman asked confused, seeing the unexpected gesture of affection.
-Don't be mean Kristal, let the boy rest for a while- Celeste protested while painting her lips with a pink color.
-He's going to rest when the holidays come, in the meantime he has to study.
Celeste didn't say anything else, Kristal could be just as stubborn or more than Dany.
-So... - her friend crossed his arms- Do I have to ask you what happened yesterday? Aren't you going to tell your only friend the good news?
Celeste laughed amused- Thomas from Anchorena is his name...
-Wow, he sounds like someone important.
-He is... Dany almost ruined it.
-I tried to stop him, but you know how he gets with you, he was out of it.
-I know, but he booked me a private for this Saturday!
-Really? - she asked incredulously.
Celeste nodded excitedly- I have to look perfect, I need him to take his breath away when he sees me.
-Friend....
-What? - she said distractedly, while she arranged her hair on the sides of her angelic face.
-You're not falling in love again, are you?
-What are you saying Kristal?
The woman sighed defeated and took her friend by the shoulders, making her turn in her chair so that she looked into her eyes- Celeste, I love you, but sometimes you're a bit naive. A man pays you just a little attention and you already fall at his feet. I don't want your heart to be broken again... - she said worriedly.
Celeste turned once more to the mirror with annoyance. "It's not love, it's just business." She said, trying to believe her own words.
–
-It's almost your turn Cele- said Kristal from behind the curtain.
The blonde was nervous, she couldn't stop rubbing her sweaty hands. -Do you see him in the audience?
-What's he like?- said Kristel peeking through the curtain.
-H-He's tall, dark, somewhat long black hair, very handsome...- she said biting her lip.
-Mmmm, I only see the same people as always, darling, I'm sorry.- she said sadly.
Celeste nodded resignedly. The music started, it was time to enter.
As always, she listened to the applause of her faithful spectators and danced beautifully, letting herself be carried away by the melody. But she couldn't help but look for Thomas's face among so many.
"I guess he regretted it" she thought disappointed, feeling her heart deflate from one more disappointment.
Just as he made a great turn of grace and returned to the front, there he saw him. The door of the bar opened, illuminating the young man who looked agitated and with a somewhat red face, as if he had run a marathon.
Their eyes met and the angel felt his heart beat strongly when that young man gave him the most beautiful smile he had ever seen.
He had kept his word, he had not failed him.
Thomas slipped between the tables and sat down at an empty one without taking his eyes off the charming young woman who only kept her gaze on him. He saw her dance like never before, like a white dove in the starry sky, he absorbed every movement, he drank from her as if she were the most exquisite drink ever created.
-
-Interesting- said Cesar thoughtfully, while he watched the show from one of the terraces of the bar. He hadn't taken his eyes off the blonde since she had come on stage and when he entered Thomas confirmed what Bruno had told him, Anchorena was madly in love with that woman. - You have very simple tastes, Thomas- he murmured.
-Well, now you've seen her. Can we go now? - Bruno asked nervously. Since he had seen Thomas enter the bar, he tried to hide from him. If he ever saw him with his worst enemy, he wouldn't live to tell the tale.
-Just a little while longer, I want to see that idiot Thomas drool over that ordinary dancer, I want to see how infatuated he is with her.
Bruno sighed nervously and drank the entire contents of the drink. The night would be long.
-
Celeste never wished so much for a show to end, as soon as the lights went out and the applause invaded the place, she hurried off the stage, finding that Thomas was already waiting for her on the side.
Without hesitation, the blonde did the same as the night before, she grabbed him by the wrist and pulled him through the golden curtain before her boss noticed.
Thomas let himself go, feeling like a rebellious child who escaped from school to have his first time with his girlfriend. He had never been a risk taker, so at that moment he felt euphoric as if he were doing something forbidden and that excited him even more.
They reached one of the rooms and Celeste closed the door behind her, leaned against the door and let out a playful giggle.
-Sit down.
The CEO obeyed, walking backwards without stopping to look at her until the back of his knees hit the chair. He fell dead and clung to his legs tightly, feeling his hands restless to touch that angel.
Celeste didn't waste time and climbed onto the small stage, where she began to do her trick.
After the first song ended and the second one started, Thomas couldn't resist any longer and approached Celeste. He was about to do the same thing as the previous failed encounter, take her by the waist, lay her down on the couch and let his most animal instinct take over.
But Celeste walked away gracefully, climbing up to the highest part of the pole.
-Ah ah ah- he shook his head with an amused smile- No touching, it's forbidden.
Thomas bit his lip helplessly, that angel would drive him crazy.
-What should I do to be able to touch you? - He didn't want to sound desperate, but he couldn't help it- I can pay you whatever you want for one night in my apartment, just you and me.
