Chapter 5 I won't show you any mercy tonight

Avery tardily climbed onto the bed and lay down on her back, as he had instructed. Evan then crawled onto the bed and lowered his face to her neck, taking in the fresh, soothing scent of her shower gel.

The young lady trembled on the bed, her eyes tightly shut. Her long lashes quivered, and the sheets were gathered in her palms, which were tightly closed.

"You've never been touched before?" Evan whispered softly into her ear.

Avery nodded immediately, hoping he'd let her go, but instead it only fueled his desires to have her here and now.

"Acceptable!" He said it in a husky voice, his gaze lingering on her soft pink lips as he realized she had probably never been kissed before either.

He lowered his face, and his lips locked against hers. Avery's eyes went wild as Evan sucked on her lower lip desperately.

As dawn broke, Avery's eyes snapped open, and she quickly got ready for school, rushing to take a shower before being late.

Considering she hadn't brought any of her belongings with her and Janet informed her everything in the room belonged to her, she took black denim jeans from the closet and a white crop shirt to match.

She pulled her jet-black straight hair back into a ponytail, applied her favorite strawberry-flavored lip gloss, and grabbed her backpack, preparing to head to school.

As she stepped out of the room, she felt disoriented, wondering which path would lead her downstairs. The house loomed before her; its grandeur was almost overwhelming. Janet met Avery outside her door and escorted her to the elevator, which took them downstairs.

She noticed Avery was unnecessarily quiet, which was quite unusual from her, and decided to ask about what happened last night. However, before she had the chance to ask, Avery gave her a warm smile, saying, "Thank you for your guidance, Aunty."

The dining room was filled with sunlight streaming through the windows as Avery entered. She found Evan at the table, having a cup of coffee while engrossed in his magazine.

Avery's heart skipped a beat as their eyes met. She quickly lowered her gaze to avoid his piercing stare.

She grabbed herself a sandwich and an apple from the buffet table, quickly turned away, and made a hasty exit.

The driver opened the door of the backseat for Avery, asking her to get in. She hesitated for a moment before climbing in, her heart racing with anxiety. Before she could speak up and ask the driver more questions about their destination,.

The car door swung open, and Evan slid into the back seat, ignoring her as if she weren't even there. Avery's face flushed with shame as she buried her face in her thighs.

The car took off, and the air was tense between the two of them. As they approached school, Avery felt a sense of panic rising up. She couldn't afford for anyone to see her riding in such a fancy car; it would raise too many questions.

As they pulled up towards the school, Evan looked at her with his eyebrows furrowed in curiosity. "Why do we need to stop?" he asked.

Avery's voice was barely above a whisper as she replied, "I don't want anyone to know about us."

Evan remained silent, his gaze piercing hers. Avery's heart sank as she realized he wasn't going to give in easily. "Get out!"

As she turned around gratefully to open the door, he grabbed her by the arm, forcing her to turn back around. "I won't show any mercy on you tonight," Evan whispered, his gaze locking onto hers.
