Chapter 2 Their Identity

By the way, I'm Crimson Red Myers, not a normal person. I don't even know if I'm still human or a monster like they say.

Unlike real people who bleed red when wounded, we have violet blood that heals within seconds. Sometimes it's like that.

I'm 17 years old, they say I'm a goddess. I don't know why we're like this. We've been this way since birth, and I don't even know who our real parents are. We grew up without them. But someone watches over us, a voice from the pendant we wear.

I have a scarlet fire symbol pendant with a crown and a letter engraved in the middle, but no matter what I do, I can't see the letter. I know very little, but I know one thing: we have powers.

I'm a mind reader. Ever since I can remember, I've known this. When I was four, I discovered this ability to read minds when I touched someone. And now, I can read minds just by looking at them. It turns out, all three of us are mind readers.

Every year, a new power emerges within me. When I was five, I suddenly gained the power over Earth, controlling different types of soil, moving and manipulating human bodies and vines or roots. At six, I could vanish; I mean, I could turn invisible. I'm not very skilled yet, so I only turn invisible when I'm scared, nervous, or embarrassed. Don't worry! I can control my emotions, so I don't just disappear like that.

When I turned seven, I became a healer; I could cure any illness. Because of this, many tried to take my life, especially when I turned eight. Someone kidnapped me because they wanted me to heal their spouse who had been in a coma for 20 years.

That day, a fire symbol appeared on the back of my neck, and I gained the power of fire. So we were forced to leave that province because news of our abilities spread.

And the last power that emerged in me was sound. It's the kind of power that when I scream, it can kill someone. I don't know, but I feel like there's more.

Knock knock

"Red, come out," I heard Yel say as she packed my things.

(BLUE'S POV)

When Red entered his room, I teleported to mine, and with just a snap, my things packed themselves. I sat on the bed.

Oh, by the way, I'm Xiandrellyn Blue Myers, or Xian for short.

I have blue hair and sky-colored eyes. They call me a goddess too. I don't know much about how we were born like this, the three of us. When I was four, I could control people's shadows. Through that, I could control people-shadow manipulator, they say.

When I turned five, shapeshifting emerged. It's the power to mimic anything; I can become a car, food, a mouse, or anything or anyone, any kind of animal or thing, even a person.

When I turned six, a mark appeared on my right chest-a water drop symbol. Along with it, water came out of my hands. I could remove water from people that caused their deaths. Water was my power, but at that moment, a mark appeared on the back of my hand-a ice symbol. And the water turned into ice; I could change the weather into a snowy day. Ice and water.

When I turned seven, I could teleport, go to another place in an instant. I just had to close my eyes and think of the place or visualize it. I could only teleport myself before, but now I can take along as many people as I want.

When I turned eight, I fell asleep on the school ground when I was in elementary school. I had a nightmare, and there were many people around me. That's when my new power emerged: telekinesis, the ability to control objects.

Everything on the school ground floated, even the heavy rocks, and the roofs detached and floated too, so people ran away from me. Because of my nightmare, I woke up immediately and looked around to see everything floating and looked at my hands. I slowly raised my hands, and the floating objects followed. When I lowered my hands, they descended too. And when I raised my hands again, they floated again.

I moved them until I realized there were people around me, so I dropped the objects, and people ran away. As time passed, I could control objects without using my hands; I could use telekinesis with my mind and eyes. I finished packing, so I teleported out and caught the two sitting on the sofa.

(YELLOW'S POV)

I finished packing, so I knocked on Red's door, then sat on the sofa. I put on my earphones and started playing music. I felt Red sit next to me.

By the way, I'm Sharlene Shine Yellow Myers, 17, with yellow hair and gray eyes.

They call me a goddess too. My first power was air when I was four; I could take away people's breath. When I turned five, I could control plants. At six, I became a strong girl, able to do anything. When I turned seven, I became magnetic, able to control iron, gold, bronze, silver, anything magnetic. And along with it, my nature power emerged, the ability to call and control animals and communicate with them.

And when I turned eight, I was sitting on a swing in the park when suddenly, the sky darkened and lightning struck, accompanied by a mark appearing on my shoulder blade-a lightning symbol.

In an instant, I was engulfed in lightning; my whole body became electric, and my hair floated. People ran towards me, attracted by my beauty, but when the sky darkened and lightning struck, they ran away.

Lightning is what they call it; I can control the weather with it and release electricity. At that time, Red and Blue arrived. We had to leave that place. Before, I didn't know how to use air, but now I can fly using the wind. I took off my earphones when I felt Blue and Red approach.

We stood up. By the way, I didn't mention it before... we're triplets. Surprised, right? Yes, it's true! We're triplets, but we don't look alike, just similar. I'm the youngest. Red is second, and Blue is the eldest. We don't use the term "older sister" among us; we're all just the same age.

"Blue, what if they recognize us there?" I said

"That won't happen; we've changed a lot, and we don't have any acquaintances there because we rarely go out, and they only know me as Lyn, Red as Cm, and you as Sy," Blue replied.

"True."

I nodded as I picked up my things, as did Red and Blue. Red put a large amount of money on the table for the apartment rent, which was more than enough. Blue and I put our hands on each other's shoulders, and in an instant, we were inside a girls' restroom.
