Chapter 5 First Target

AKs and shotguns kept going off, but they had little or no effect against me. I cleaved the policemen like they were pieces of paper. I was about to head off to the detention room when my danger sense tingled, I sidestepped and placed my back against the wall.

*Ratatatata!!* A cop with an Ak blasted the place I previously stood. I spun around and threw a shokuren (ninja star) at him.

*Puuok* a bullseye, right on the forehead.

"Now these pests have been taken care of, let's go see our prey." I said as I leisurely strolled towards the detention room.

As I got there, I could sense more than one lifeforce, and I could also smell gunpowder, lots of it, and fear. I smiled, it seems not all the pests have been taken care of. I took out three shokuren, held it on my left hand, while my katana on the right hand. I smashed the door down and threw the three shokuren forward while I did a cartwheel to dodge the bullet rain. The shokuren struck a cop on the forehead, another cop got one on the neck and the other shokuren struck the wall.

"Kill him!" a police officer shouted as he aimed at me. I slashed my katana diagonal upward, slicing his gun like butter, then slashed across his neck, his head fell neatly down the floor while his blood painted the tiles red. I didn't stop there, I slashed my sword towards the next cop closest to me, splitting his face in two, the last cop got it worse as I first took off his both hands before stabbing his throat.

I saw Emma who was standing by the extreme wall, looking like a frightened mouse. I walked towards him. Humming the black heart song I had just recently downloaded. I can't believe Hollow Reaper created a song for me, he's so sweet. "Every villain must have a BGM" these were his words, of course I didn't mind being called a villain since that's how the world is gonna see me anyway.

"No...please, don't come near me." he stuttered, but I shut him up with a right hook. I controlled my strength so as not to bust up his jaw, yet he spat out a couple teeth. I didn't mind, I stepped on his ankle.

*Crunch!!* His bone was crushed. He screamed in agony, but a punch on his nose did the job, he moaned and was about to pass out due to the pain. Nah! I ain't gonna allow that. I slapped him, again, and again, till his cheeks puffed like balloons.

"Pleeashh!" he pleaded despite the missing teeth and swollen cheeks.

I stepped back a bit and looked around me.

The scent of blood filled the air, dismembered body parts littered the floor, bullet holes could been seen around the walls, but all these didn't bother me even a bit, why should it? My prey was just in front of me.

"Pleash, you cantsh kill me, I have done no wrong to you!" Emma begged as tears, snots and blood covered his face.

"Are you sure about that professor?" I asked.

"Pleash, I will do anything. I donsh even know you." he begged and then tried to stand from his own pool of blood.

*Sigh*

I guess the best thing I could do to him was to at least let him see the face of the one who's sending him to hell.

I removed my mask and stared right into his terrified eyes.

"Professor Emma, you stole something from me. Something I value more than the lives of the seven billion people on this planet." I said in a low voice as I couldn't suppress my anguish. I could see the terror in his eyes and I knew he remembered my face.

"Pleash I beg you. Spare me, I shwear I wonsh do ish again. I'll change my waysh. Pleash have mershy. Pleash find ish in your heart to forgive me." he pleaded again and again.

I simply smiled at him in ridicule.

"Heart? Mercy? Forgiveness?" I laughed so hard tears fell from my eyes. This man must be so foolish to think I'll let him go. I'll never let any of them go. They will get the most horrible and painful death, I will give them all a Slow, Painful and Undesirable Death, and their souls will be tormented by me when I use them to unleash the demon wolf. They will witness hell a million times over.

"Professor Emmanuel. For your sins, I sentence you to death. May your soul have no peace in Hell's eternal damnation." I said and swung my sword across his right hand which cleanly came off.

"AAAARRHHH!" His scream reverberated the room. But I didn't care and swung my sword on his left hand, the right leg, left leg, I then waited for him to experience every single wave of the pain before ending him.

"You took something from me, now I shall take your entire being." I then swung my sword across his neck, a clean cut, his head gave way and fell down, while his limbless body slumped and became limp. I had fulfill my promise of separating his head from his body, although it was less than what I had planned for him, but I couldn't waste anymore time.

I took out a black rose with a piece of paper and written on the paper were this words: "My name was Maximus Augustus Aurelius, but I died a week ago. I appear to you now with a black heart and a dark soul seeking vengeance on those who killed me, I will be your Daymare and your Nightmare.

I am the Punishment of both God and Devil. To those guilty of the sin I accuse you of, if you hadn't committed this great sin, I would not have brought this punishment unto you. I am... BLACK HEART". I tossed the black rose and the paper on his headless body. That's how I'm gonna be famous. I smirked.

Before leaving the scene, I took out a piece of paper from my back pocket, it's actually where I had marked my preys, then I cancelled Emma's name and put the paper back into my pocket.

It's time to hunt down the next prey.

I left the building and got on my bike, driving out of the station.
